The process of defining the insurance needs was easy and had logical groupings in the offerings. Called the Support Desk to get answers on exclusions which were quickly answered. The documentation needed for our travel was generated instantly and the links provided to them.

I was struck at airport due to flight delays for 4-5 hours with my family and was under distress
when i asked if accommodation can be provided, i was read the terms and conditions for over 30 minutes instead of answering the questions directly
i was expecting distress relief and not additional stress

The whole process from submitting the claim and documents to receiving payment directly into our checking account took approximately 10 days. We have recommended Trawick International to all of our friends and family. The price is fair and the customer service is excellent. We will definitely insure our future travel with Trawick.

Recently, my husband was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor 2 weeks before I was leaving on an international trip. The claims process was easy. They sent me the forms and the list of required documentation. I am happy to say that I received full compensation for my canceled trip. Also, they have stayed in touch with me to let me know exactly when I will receive my payment and it’s always an extremely nice and helpful person! No AI!

I filed a claim on Travel Insurance for the first time. My policy clearly said it covered Trip Interruption, both when you must join a trip late and when you must cut it short. We had to join our trip late after my husband became critically ill (on a ventilator in the ICU from Legionnaires Disease) and was still recovering on our planned date of departure. My claim was repeatedly denied, first for reasons that were completely unclear. Finally, I was told it was denied because the illness happened BEFORE the policy was effective. The effective date of the policy was the planned departure date. Of course the illness would have to happen before in order for there to be coverage for joining a trip late! Would it only cover you if you got sick ON the departure/effective date? That would be ludicrous. I filed several appeals. Aardy, the company we used to purchase the policy also filed appeals. I emailed two executives at Trawick - I heard back from Bailey Foster, but not from CEO Daryl Trawick. This is clearly an intentional loophole where vague language in the policy is interpreted in an illogical way. I would recommend never buying a Trawick policy.

Ive been using Trawick for years. Never have had to make a claim but I feel comfortable with the Company & that if I ever need to they will honor their policy
