Absolute Garbage Product and Company

I spent $545 for a Stampede, battery and charger. Within 10 minutes the struts started falling off. Within 3 days (2 hours of driving) the front and rear driveshafts broke. No refund, no nothing.

A piece of garbage from a piece of garbage company. The local distributor, Grave's RC in Orlando, was even worse. I did not know that was possible.

Do not waste your hard-earned money on the trash that they buy for pennies on the dollar

While the vehicles are high quality…

While the vehicles are high quality (with high maintenance), the overall experience with Traxxas has been disappointing, especially for the cost of these vehicles. My issue are the batteries included with purchase. I bought 2 different vehicles over an 8 month period, both came with 8.4v NiMH batteries. The batteries run good, at optimum level ONE TIME... afterwards, the batteries will not full charge (and I own 3 types of chargers), and are pretty much no good. I had them tested at a local shop, and was told they each have bad cells....again after ONE use. I called Traxxas to see if they would swap them, provide a credit going towards my next purchase...NOPE..nothing. I was forced to buy all new batteries, just so my son and I can continue to drive our vehicles. After spending so much money with Traxxas, I was truly disappointed how easily they are willing to lose a good customer, especially since THEY are the one selling a faulty product. I would have given them a 1 star, but bumped them to a 2 ONLY because the vehicles are great, when you have a working battery.

Traxxas sucks

Traxxas, how dare you sue Arrma and end production of the best RC ever produced. The only reason they sued was because they knew Arrma's design was way better. Traxxas tries to sue every competitor in order to control the market. I will never buy a Traxxas. Way to go Tower Hobbies for ending the sale of Traxxas products!!

Totally try to sell you in chat and…

Totally try to sell you in chat and then when something goes bad in transit, all they can say is Policy this Policy that.. BS. That's just a way to get out of doing anything. This is POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. IF YOUR CARRIER SUPPLIES ME WITH A DELIVERY DATE I EXPECT THAT TO BE HONORED< if it can't I don't want your products. I was going to purchase the XMAXX Ive owned Tmaxx's for 20 YEARS, your shi..y customer service made me look else where. Here comes the KRAKEN... This thing is a beast, and with out a doubt would make any X MAXX it's B!i#h. So ACTUALLY THANK YOU now I can enjoy an RC that doesn't constantly require parts. I swear you could land on a pillow with A Traxxas vehicle and break something.

My son saved up months to buy his r/c…

My son saved up months to buy his r/c car. It literally lasted an hour. Costomer service sent him replacement parts the first time, just to have it happen again right away. The second time he contacted them, they said he was at fault and would do nothing. This won't be the last r/c car he will buy, but it will be the last traxxas.

Wish i read the reviews beforehand

Wish i read the reviews beforehand! After a week in, ALL the brake pads fell out and it will not go into gear. Called and they said it needs a "slipper clutch rebuild" And ive only ran it for about 30-45 minutes!! I spent about $600 on their Revo 3.3... How can they get away with this?! So many similar reviews.. AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!

poor/no warranty

Battery damage they claim is “impact” damage. Have bbb complaint filed. Will be taking them to local courts if need be. Gotta force them to warranty stuff so sad. Build it better and then you wouldnt need to have warranty claims you dont want to cover.

Great

I have had only great experiences with Traxxas. The cars are great and great fun to play with. Out of the box, my car had an issue with a broken tire. Traxxas sent a replacement. The CSRs and repair techs have been courteous and knowledgeable. Very helpful people.

This company represents corporate greed…

This company represents corporate greed at its best. Their RC cars are designed to break so that you end up buying Traxxas spares continuesly. The servo will break, it’s only a matter of time (my son broke his servo within the hour of receiving his car) but guess what; Traxxas will sell you a new, upgraded servo for 40$! One wonders how they can legally get away with this?! After fixing the new servo (which was quite easy) the next thing that broke was the motor, half an hour after fixing the new servo!! We ordered another motor which was easy to fix, guess what, this one broke as well, after 30 minutes of moderate usage! Traxxas is absolute crap, the RC car I got cost 600$ + battery charger + battery so around 700$. WHAT A CON, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Traxxas may have the worst customer service

Traxxas may have good products, not the best. But their customer service is the worst. I had an order that was not delivered. When I called traxxas, I was told that it’s my problem. It’s not their job to track down the order that I paid to have shipped to my house and not have waste a half a day at the post office trying to find my order. Another time I ordered the 17mm splined kit which is listed as a part compatible with my stampede 4x4 vxl. Then contacted traxxas online support to make sure before spending over $100 on wheels, if their 3.8 wheels were compatible with my vehicle, which they told me it was. And now I find out they are not. And traxxas can’t tell me why are parts listed as compatible are not. So don’t waste your money on this company. They are awful once the have your money.

If I could leave a negative star I…

If I could leave a negative star I would. I have bought several Traxxas vehicles and never once have they Done warranty repair for me. But I can definitely send my castle creation product in for repair and they cover it even when it is my fault. Paid over 800 bucks on the new traxxas erevo 2.0 with the works new lipos . And the esc is crap. But told me the warranty is void because I shortened my esc battery leads. Wow well don't make them so long the fall out and rub and it the back tiers.

Could not be happier with the customer…

Could not be happier with the customer support at traxxas. I called them with an issue with a truck that all of a sudden had a mind of its own and would take off down the road uncontrollable at top speed. And with a 3 cell 5000 mah lipo battery you could imagine that cringing sight. Long story short when the truck finally crashed into a parked car there were a few bumps and bruises along with some destroyed axles and other closely related parts. A short 5 minute phone call with a fella named Colton and they shipped me not only the parts I needed but they were their upgraded parts. Two thumbs way up and Colton needs a promotion. Thanks again traxxas
