However, some people were dissatisfied with significant delays in receiving their orders, with several reporting long waits and difficulty getting updates on shipping. Hello Heath, according to our records we tried to contacted you on Sept 20th via email asking for proof and pictures of the tires which we never received and that's why your warranty is still pending. Please send the information requested to take care of this matter.

Worst experience buying tires

Couldn't get tires balanced on top of paying for tires I had to pay an additional $180 restocking fee and still nothing on my return. It's been two weeks and tires haven't been checked in yet and warranty department mailbox is always full and not helpful at all when I call which has been a lot. So basically I have paid treadwright about $800 and have since bought tires elsewhere for my truck so I could drive without a lick of problems with balancing because that's what we want to do right? Buy tires, take vehicle to three different shops to try balancing them and try to return them without having to argue with customer service? Meanwhile the second set of tires I bought and had installed and still driving on didn't have one problem balancing out?

Hello Adam, according to our records only 1 tire out of 4 had balancing issues and we still give you a full refund along with the restocking fee refund.

Knew was risky but..

Bought a set knowing the risks. Well .. 6k miles I had them rotated. Shop asked me to look.. all 4 tires showed signs of dry rot. One was so bad it was cracking into the rubber. They all had bulges at the rim. I am very disappointed this happened so quick. I would go after the warranty but those were not safe to drive on and I need my truck daily. Expensive lesson but wouldn’t buy again. If you do buy, check them often - take the tire off and look on the inside too. I really wanted them to work! On another note I did try to call the company and it seemed all lines went to voicemail. The warranty voicemail was full and didn’t accept voicemails.

Finding a tire shop to install them was…

Finding a tire shop to install them was a bit of an issue because tire shops don't want to lose their hind end getting them to balance. I finally talked my local shop into it. Balance went OK with exception to one tire. Don't notice it until highway speed, they I get the slight vibration the tire shop told me I was going to get, he even called correct tire. The tire isn't really circle, but an elipsoid. Getting a replacement and paying for the remount isn't in my best interest. Looking to go with a name brand. Not dealing with "who cares" customer service department... if you can get anyone to answer. Not happy, but have to deal with it until I can fix it, hopefully not tearing up my truck until I do so.

Start of order bad, good resolution.

Start of the transaction was terrible.
I got the 35” claws. Said they were in stock. After 10 days no word on shipping, so I called. I was told “we’ll they were in stock when you purchased them, but when we went to fulfill the order they were out of stock”.
The old bait and switch.
Waited on hold for 1.5 hours to talk to someone that would not give me the same answer. After asking for a supervisor for a plan of action I was told, ok we found you a set in Oklahoma, we will have them shipped.
5 days later I got my tires.

They mounted up easily, but would not balance. It’s a 35” tire, I really didn’t expect them to.
Tires ran great unbalanced. Ended up putting in balancing bags. The tires were quiet the first 100 miles, then got noisy. Again, it’s a mud terrain tire. I expect it.
As far as ride quality, sound, price. It’s a great tire. I have done 3000 miles so far, no issues. 1 rotation. Wearing nicely, and look great. I’d recommend them, but also would warn about the bait and switch tactics for online ordering.

Best deal on or off the road

Great deal, seller and tires. Took a trip from Alabama to Ohio not long after I had them mounted in the hottest part of summer, the tires performed wonderfully even in a heavy downpour. They are true to size. Not like so many brands, ie. Chinese tires where a 33 inch tire is actually 31.8. I’m absolutely pleased with them. Will definitely buy from Treadwright from now on. I actually wish that I could start up a satellite dealership here in north Alabama and sell them here. Cannot get a better tire at these prices! I hope they continue to operate just as they do. Great for America. Great for the environment.

Most dangerous tires I've ever owned

I cannot stress how dangerous these tires are. 3 months I had my set when one developed a massive bubble while driving on interstate. After almost crashing and putting my spare on, I reached out to the company to get answers. After more than 10 calls I've made and multiple emails, I've been hung up on twice but some nasty customer service reps. Do your home work, read the Google reviews and look at this pics. These things are dangerous!

The remold tires I purchased failed

The remold tires I purchased failed, one was covered by warranty, the second failure was not covered. The tires suck, they do not hold up to normal driving. Treadwright tires fall apart quickly, I threw away the Treadwrights and would never recommend them to anyone. Beware of Treadwright They just don't care.

Overall good but had some issues

I would have liked some communication when the original tires I ordered were on backorder. After being on backorder for almost two months Treadwright made good and sent me a different, more expensive, tread pattern with no extra charges. Tires look great but the installation shop had a hard time balancing. Make sure to get road force balancing. This will tell the installers exactly how the tire needs to be on the rim in order to get a smooth ride. Just got the tires so we will see how they wear.

Cracking in the Bead

I purchased four “Claw” M/T tires LT265/75R 16 tires a number of yrs. ago. I drive my truck very little so the tread on the tires looks new, hardly any wear. These are “Bead to Bead” remanufactured tires. The issue I had is that only one year after I bought the tires, some cracks began to show up on the tires at the bead. This happened on all four tires I purchase. Since the cracks began to show up only a year after purchase I wondered if it wasn’t a failure in the remanufacturing process? Anyway, it didn’t scare me so I just kept on driving. Then my 2 yr. state safety inspection came up and my mechanic said the cracks were “tire rot” (I didn’t agree but didn’t argue the point). He said he’d pass me that year but unless I changed the tires, he wouldn’t pass me again next inspection. My next inspection is now. I other like the tires. Has anybody else experienced cracks in the bead after only a short time?

Great experience

The tires were “in stock” when I placed the order, to my knowledge at least. I did find out later they were back ordered, but still received them 3-4 weeks after placing the order which I thought was still very acceptable. When I asked about the order Treadwright was prompt with a response via email. The tires took a lot of weight to balance, more than factory tires I’ve had in the past but they ride very well with no vibration or road noise. I bought the Warden 275/70/r18’s for my 2500. They’re a little narrower tread than previous tires I’ve purchased. However, they look very nice on the truck and I anticipate the aggressive tread and narrower tread width to perform very well on the dirt roads this fall and snow covered roads this winter. Half the price of my usual tire, so definitely worth a shot when I put 25k miles on the truck a year!

POOR QUALITY

Hello Everyone.
WATCH OUT FOR TREADWRIGHT TIRES.

They claim to be Made in the USA and offer a 50,000 mile tread life warranty. So why wouldn't I try them?

In hindsight, it turns out that they only offer the 50,000 mile warranty for 12 months. Which is odd. Who drive 50,000 miles a year?

I have a little over 10,000 miles on these tires. They will not last much longer. I tried to tell them back in May, when the tires were only a few months old, that their tires were wearing too fast. They did not care. Simply said nothing can be done until they are worn out.

Seems they wish to fight rather than warranty by the way. I told them that I will report this online. The gal says, No Worries, we will just have it removed.

SHARE THIS and Help me get them to warranty these tires as well as STOP OTHERS from having this problem.

I would like to add pictures of the tires as proof positive to my claim. The pictures reflect only 10,000 miles on the tires. I believe they are trying to decline my claim because the 12 month/50,000 mile warranty runs out middle of next month.

These guys sell poor quality tires and ignore you when you attempt to let them know you have a problem. They do not wish to do anything outside of take your money. I am not a DOT employee or work in tires, but is sure seems like A Safety Matter, making the highways less safe. I am certain someone who is in this industry can pay them a visit for their poor business practices?

Tires Work and Have a Great Price

Tires Work and Have a Great Price. Only issue I had was a tire failed and the entire tire bulged in the middle along the entire circumference. This was on a tire with less than 500 miles on it, (I also still had 200 miles to go to get home towing a 10K lb RV). My tire guy who mounts and balances for me even said that there was something seriously wrong with the tire. The company warranty was awesome and replaced it, but Treadwright stated that it was not workmanship and covered it under my road hazard. This actually caused concern because had I not purchased road hazard they would have denied the warranty claim. So I will always buy road hazard because it seemed like they wanted to shirk their responsibility on the tire. Otherwise would have been five stars.
