The owner is friendly when you are…

The owner is friendly when you are looking for a bike, but once you buy a bike in the store, and there's a problem - he blames everything on the customer. I regret that I bought a bike that store.

Find another place to spend your money.

Short story: Expect longer service time than what they tell you and lots of excuses and BS! I'm not coming back there and would highly recommend you to find another place to spend your money.

Long story:
I ordered a bike and was told they were very busy, so delivery would be 1-2 weeks and that I would receive a text message when it was ready. I accepted. 2 weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything from them. I called them and they said, again, that they were terribly busy, but expected it to be ready within the next couple of days. Another week went by and I finally received the text that it was ready. When I went to collect it, I enquired about some kind of discount, since they did not live up to their promise. That was not possible in any way - the manager (maybe the owner) then answered with a long stream of excuses and constantly said that they couldn't do anything about the price, since I already got it on sale. Excuses included:
- they were so busy that they couldn't keep up with demand and therefore they couldn't give exact estimates of when bikes would be ready
- they couldn't find enough employees
- they worked day and night and still couldn't keep up
- the price of my bike actually increased in value since I ordered it, so if my bike got stolen it would have a higher value than what I bought it for
- The bike was actually sold out at the manufacturer and I even got it on sale

I understand that they are very busy (good for them), but that shouldn't be at the expense of their customers. Simple communication and expectation management would have gone a long way for me to be a happy customer. Instead, they did not live up to their promises and filled me with a bunch of bullsh*t. At least they have one less customer to worry about in their busy schedule.

Weeks of Terrible Service. Don't expect to be contacted by Tria.

It started well - I took my bike in to Tria, as the chain kept slipping. The repairman told me what he thought the problem was, and that he'd call me back the next day with more information. He did, and said it would be quite expensive (around 1200dkk) for parts and labor. I accepted, and asked him to begin work. He said it would take a few days.

Over two weeks went by, and I heard nothing from Tria. I tried calling, but no one picked up the phone, and there was no answering service. I walked into Tria to see the status of my bike. Work had not begun on it. The mechanic said it would be 'done in a few days', and that he would text me when it was done.

Several more weeks went by - no feedback whatsoever from Tria. I walked into the store today to get my bike; no work was done on it.
The mechanic said it was because it was not worth fixing (too expensive).

I tried giving my feedback to the mechanic, about the poor service (why didn't they contact me if they didn't want to work on the bike?). I tried this about three times, each time the mechanic jumping in and telling me why the bike wasn't worth fixing. He wouldn't listen to my story about poor service or offer an explanation as to why I wasn't contacted weeks earlier.
