What the concept advertise is meeting local guides, real persons. What you get is tourist guides, professionals. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the guides and the tours. But if you book through tourist office or the actual venues your are visiting, you will pay less. When I´ve send a complain about that to trip4real, the only comment was that the guides needed to be able to use the tourist venues, otherwise they will not be able to conduct the tours. No problem with that, it should be advertised though, that the “local” guides were a part of a tourist venue. My critic did not make the page for the guide that was supposed to meet us, and guide us, but send us further to the tourist guide of the venue, while she guided another group. We did not experience the real trip advertised, but a guided tour by the workers of the venue. They did a great job. Still, pouring huge amounts of cava on us do not change the fact that it is a humbug, the hole thing. You will get better off booking your guided tours through tourist venues, it is as real as trip4real, and cheaper. We´ve actually paid 30 euros more than through the propper channels....

I did a vermouth tour with Andreu and Stefania, a Sailing trip with Adrian and a Secret Tour of Barcelona with Gemma and they were amazing! You can get to know Barcelona from another perspective and discover places you probably would never know without a Local guide. After Barcelona, I decided to try it in Paris and the experience was awesome too! A photo tour with Alexander, a super nice photographer! I definitely do another tour when I travel to another place!

Trip4real style reminds me of the Erasmus way of travelling, which in my opinion, is simply the best way, because you get to discover a city by its own local citizens. I had a great experience in my trip to London, definetly a recommendable experience.

We went on a trip to Lisbon and trip4real made the difference! We got to experience the city with two locals: Joao and Clare. That allowed us to discover the real Lisbon, the parts of the city a traveler never discovers if you don't know someone who lives there!! I will definitively continue to use trip4real in my next trips!

When I came to Barcelona with my husband we booked a Paella Cooking Workshop. The local that offered the activity was so charm and she explained us the catalan habits and traditions while she show us how to cook a delicious paella.

We visited the places she recommended and we lived Barcelona as locals do!

We lived an unforgettable experience :-). HIghly recommended!!

I had never heard about this innovative website that it was to me suggested by a spanish friend, well i booked a Street Art Tour in Barcelona hosted by Jeff a local and friendly Artist and it was really impressive and funny!
I got finally a new a different approach of the city during my trip and i will sure book again other activities for other destinations.
