Tritex Games is owned and independently run by Jason Thornton. I have personally been involved in gaming circles for over three decades and have a true passion for the gaming hobby and all things sci-fi & fantasy. I always enjoyed playing games when I was younger but there was never a great range out there to play so I usually played the classics such as Risk and Monopoly. When I was a teenager I discovered Dungeons and Dragons and roleplayed for a number of years. In my early 20’s I got into playing collectable card games such as MTG and around this time I also learned to play other specialist games and was introduced to war gaming. I have always preferred playing shorter skirmish games such as Blood Bowl rather than larger scale battles and when WOTC introduced Dungeons & Dragons and Star Wars miniature games I played these for a while. I started up Tritex Games in 2004 as I found there was a need for a store that focused on supplying a large selection of fantasy and sci-fi miniatures for war gaming and roleplaying. The range has been growing ever since. In 2013 Fantasy Flight Games launched X-Wing miniatures and this game along with other popular miniature titles they produced such as Star Wars Imperial Assault and Star Wars Armada have become a core part of our range ever since. Tritex Games couldn’t be run without the help of a great team and I am fortunate to have the support of a great team my wife Bethany, Megann, Sandra, Sarah, Keyleigh, Joseph working alongside me. During the busy seasons and at trade shows my daughter Amber and a number of other staff come to work for us on a part-time basis and help us keep the orders flying out the door as fast as they come in. In 2017 we opened a new retail unit in Stafford for tabletop gaming and organising play.

Incredible speedy delivery of Star Wars…
Incredible speedy delivery of Star Wars Shatterpoint.
Preordered and it was with me this morning, I'm a new customer and I'm sold on Tritex Games, and they even sent me a Star Wars related email confirming its dispatch, this is nerds selling to Nerds.
Prices are very fair.

Shatterpoint? More like shattered hopes
Shatterpoint? More like shatter my chances of playing the game on release weekend.
Pre-ordered from tritex in March for delivery on release in June.
Ordered the core set and all available expansions, sinking £300~ with the company.
Saw on Facebook they weren't sending out any deliveries at all of Shatterpoint until the 16th despite release being the 2nd of June.
Messaged on the 31st of May confirming they would send the core set out for the second of June
They replied on the 1st of June stating they wouldn't be sending anything out as per AMG instructions.
I asked:
-official Shatterpoint group who confirmed core sets could be shipped on the 2nd
-rampage gaming owner who confirmed the 2nd
-goblin gaming who phoned Asmodee within an hour of me asking and confirmed release on the 2nd
-an email to AMG directly who confirmed the second
Tritex read this information and ignored it.
My friend placed an order with goblin gaming on the 2nd, received his core set on the third.
And here I am watching everyone enjoy their games across social media, while I chase tritex for a refund instead of having my own Shatterpoint experience.
First and last time I will deal with this company.

I am sorry you are dissapointed and felt the need to leave a 1 star review but below is Asmodee's official instruction on the Shatterpoint release and any retailer that has broken this and shipped orders before the 16th June have been advised that they will be penalised for doing so - this means that Goblin Gaming appear the have broken these rules if this is the case it will be reported. You are free to leave us a 1 star review but we are only abiding by the restrictions we were set by Asmodee and AMG. We don't break the rules of our suppliers.
Asmodee Official memo:
"Given the incredible demand for Shatterpoint and the logistical challenges we are facing with the stock of the expansion lines arriving in waves, it was felt that the launch should be focussed on bricks and mortar stores who will be best able to show off and demonstrate the game and really build the interest from the gaming community.
We’ll be releasing stock of the Squad packs, Terrain Packs and Accessories to Bricks & Mortar retailers and all retailers selling at UKGE only in time for the launch date as previously stated.
Some allocations will be necessary across all lines, with the balance shipping from wave 2.
This stock is only to be offered for sale in store, via click and collect or in person at UKGE. We insist that Bricks & Mortar stores refrain from offering these lines online for immediate shipping until the 16th June.
Online only retailers will receive only their Core Set stock for the 2nd June with stock of the other lines being supplied from the second consignment. By our best reckoning this stock should be arriving in time to ship you your pre-orders for the 16th June.
This online release date also applies to all major national retailers who will not be permitted to ship any Shatterpoint stock before the 16th."
If you feel it is right for soe retailers to brake the rules I cannot condone this. We have all your order and your promo miniature for ordering early ready to ship when we are allowed but if you would prefer a full refund instead we are more also if than happy to do that but I am afraid all retailers are subject to these rules. I will e-mail you personally on this.

I ordered the models on Tuesday and got them safely on Thursday, ordering was easy and I was kept informed at every stage, as ever, Tritex Games are an excellent business to deal with!

Interface and tracking
I eventually got the item I was waiting for and was thankful to see that it was intact especially since it is quite fragile and I have had experience with damaged mail and products from other sellers. However my one and only gripe is the interface could use some refining in order to access important features such as tracking the shipment.

PIRATES!!... the game, not this company! :O)
I think I got the absolutely last copy available in the UK of the game I was after!
Tritex Games are excellent. The service was lightning fast, and the communications we had over an issue (not their fault) was polite, friendly and helpful. It was also good to get to speak to a real person as soon as the phone was answered, instead of having to perform the "Answering Service Samba", a big plus point for that!
I highly recommend Tritex Games, and will most certainly be using them again, a well deserved 5 stars from me!
