I loved the Jan tri camp in Portugal - everything from the training sessions to food and everything in between - food, location, accommodation - was super great! Coaches are super nice people, knowledgeable and really supportive. Everything from the booking process, arrival, training and saying good byes was super well managed, organised and planned! I just attended a weeks Tri Training Harder camp in the Algarve. I had done some research on training camps and came across TTH . The online feedback was all great so I had high expectations on what the training program, coaching approach and accommodation.
I have to say that my expectations have been exceeded / a lot !
The Algarve weather has been kind to us and the place is just a training paradise!
You share an apartment with like minded people and I stayed in a 3 bed apartment each room has its own facilities. The accommodation is great , a super appointment with all you need. Food gets delivered in the evening and it’s tasty ( I did not loos much weight despite the training intensity).
The other athletes I meet have been great fun to be with and the coaching team is a dream team! They are all super helpful, knowledgable and accommodating to anyone’s needs and ability. I was surprised how well we got looked after as a group and individually too.
The training session are hard and have pushed me beyond what I was expecting to do- it’s been the perfect start to the Triathlon season.
I will be back and will book Tri Training Harder for sure!

I attended the TriTraining Harder training camps a couple of times some years ago, and since then I have used their training plans to work my way through the different distances of triathlon and completed the full distance for the first time this weekend in Tallin. As a newcomer to triathlon the camps provided the perfect introduction to triathlon and have set me up me with all of the fundamental elements that I have applied to my training over the past four years. The online plans you have prepared have also been excellent, they are easy to follow and have got me to the start (and finish) line in the best shape I have ever been in and enabled me to exceed my own expectations. I feel very fortunate that when I started this journey that I choose the Tri Training Harder training camps and plans.
Now it is time for a short break after which I will be looking at races for next year and will be looking at using the personalized coaching that they offer

I would recommend this training camp to anyone! The professionalism of the coaches, the fact that we didn't have to think of the food preparation or the schedule perfectly organised made this week a paradise for any age grouper who wants to train hard in a beautiful scenery. I cannot wait to go back!

My partner and I attended one of the training holiday weeks in Vilamoura Portugal.
Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the entire coaching team, a debriefing of the training week, and to our delight, a bike skill session under the warm sun awaited us. At the beginning of the week, we underwent running and swimming testing and video analysis and received professional and constructive feedback on how to improve our performances. The rest of the week consisted of multiple tailored workouts under close supervision of the seasoned and wonderful coaching staff. The long bike rides in the hilly terrain with near perfect pavement and beautiful views were unforgettable.
The accommodations were luxurious and in proximity to all the training facilities. As a vegan couple, the catering done by the team chefs was simply amazing. Delicious and nutritious, the careful prepared meals powered us through the gruelling week. The hardest part of the week was leaving at the end of camp as there was a family like atmosphere that developed between all the athletes and coaches. We sure hope to see you all again! On top of that, during the following week back in our regular training club, my fellow training partners and I noticed a clear difference in my running and swimming speed!
We will definitely be looking to either come back or to try the different other training camps available and strongly recommend athletes of all levels and from all over the world to spend a week with Tri Training Harder.

TTH helped me with a greater sense of purpose for my triathlon training.
"There’s no better way to boost fitness, learn stuff and meet like-minded people than by going to a training camp”. This is spot on with TTH. TTH camp is a semi-structured group training sessions, as they will adapt to your needs. I always had at least one coach with me even when I was really literally on the back of the pack.
I really enjoyed the very high level of TTH coaching skills. I learned a lot of theory but not so much that I can’t remember it and the practical aspect was also great especially the drills for running and swimming. I learned more about how to set up the bike and use the gears in one week than I have in years on my own! I learned to how to quick remove your swimsuit and do not lose your googles.
The TTH camp provided me with a fantastic opportunity to meet other athletes while being exposed to a different training stimulus and coaches, and, of course, pack in some kms within amazing surroundings.
As the long ride goes, due to a persistent injury from a bike fall, Me, a coach and another athlete experienced an epic sunrise in the hills of Algarve. There are different rides paths that accommodate everyone’s training needs and capabilities.
My main goal was technique improvements in running. This was check, including with a better understanding what I need to do with my running, adding swimming as a bonus.
I will sign for another as soon as personal logistics with small kids are in my favor again and injury free this time.
Just one tip: Bring enough gels!

It's now about 5 weeks since I came back from a 2 week training campaign Portugal with Tritrainingharder. It was 2 great weeks with a lot of laughs, hard work and good food. But this you can have many places as it depends a lot on your self and nice people around you - which was also the case in Portugal. Very nice coaching staff.
As a paratriathlete aiming for the Paralympics - the quality of the camp - quality of the training and the evaluation is mostly important for me. I want to get better!!!!!
Of course 2 weeks training will boost your fitness. Again something you can get many places. So what's the xtra you get at Tri Training Harder???
Now 5 weeks after I can I tell about me before and after the Camp.
Not by training harder but smarter there are 2 notable things.
1: My Pace times on 5k and 10k are only 10 sec apart and times have improved on 5k with more than 1 min. all because of running technics.
2: Even more important for me the swimming has improved considerably. Pace on 750m has improved from 1:50/100m to 1:40/100m which I also can hold for 1500m.
These improvements are a result of the work of the camps training staff.
So I had 2 great weeks and got better - Thumbs up :)

I came out here as a first timer doing a sprint triathlon. Of course, I was apprehensive about being the least athletic!
However, Phillip and his team totally put all my fears at bay. The training delivered by the exceptional coaches was tailored to my ability, it was professional and a well thought out program.
I benefitted hugely in that I gained an invaluable sport education and learnt numerous skills.
I thoroughly recommend this training camp to ANYONE!
I especially want to say a huge ‘Thanks’ to Dougall who was consistently patient, an absolutely fantastic coach and a credit to TTH.

It was the first ever triathlon training camp that I attended and I am impressed. As a beginner I had many questions and each question was answered patiently by the coaches.
Video analysis of my swimming and running form, discussions over it helped me understand and fine tune my swimming and running form. There were many new things I learnt from the camp and experiences of fellow triathletes. Long bike rides, uphill reps, open water swim, transition techniques were some of the highlights of my camp. People attending the camp were also cheerful and motivating. A very comfortable atmosphere indeed.
