Paid auction goods partially delivered, no resolution for over a month

The auction has not provided a solution yet; they only emailed to say that we may no longer need assistance.

We are a professional buyer and fully paid for auction goods on 08 December 2025. Out of 37 items purchased, only 13 were delivered by seller (as action rule, we were not allowed to collect them).
For more than one month, despite extensive correspondence, no concrete resolution has been provided. The platform repeatedly states that it is “awaiting a response from the seller or management,” without timelines or accountability.
All requested documentation was provided multiple times. Meanwhile, the buyer is left without the remaining goods, without a refund, zero solutions.
Based on this experience, the post-payment handling and responsibility management raise serious concerns for business buyers.

For auctions with a minimum price that is not reached, or when a lot is under allocation, the seller can make a decision to proceed with the sale or not. For other auctions, without minimum or allocation, you will always win when you are the highest bidder when the auction closes. You could decide to avoid auctions with a minimum or under allocation, or consider the possibility that allocation will be declined when placing a bid. I hope you will be able to win many more interesting lots regardless.

Very many objects at auctions. Fair prises.
Very big minus - as user you can not change your mind about an item you placed a bid but if you are a seller and the price does not meet your demands then you can cancel all bids - this is not fair. Troostwijk please change this!

It is therefore important that you only place a bid if you would want to buy a lot for the bid amount. Sellers also can not just back out of a sale. Only when there is a minimum price for a lot and the minimum is not reached, or when a lot is under allocation, will the seller make a decision about the sale. If any of these conditions apply, it is always mentioned on the auction page in the bid window, so you can take it into account. Outstanding Platform and Exceptional Customer Service
I recently completed my first auction with Troostwijk Auctions, and the entire experience was flawless. The TBA platform is incredibly intuitive—finding items, placing bids, and reviewing auction details was seamless. I even got caught up in the excitement bidding for my dream car, a 1973 VW Beetle 1303 S; while I was outbid at the final moment, the process itself was a great experience.
What truly sets them apart, however, is their customer service team. I had a few questions during the payment and collection process, and the team was responsive, patient, and incredibly helpful. They resolved my queries quickly and professionally, making me feel supported at every step.
