Not a business to overlook- I find the guys at Tropico are extremely professional in both their presale and aftercare. It's incredibly important keepers in the hobby understand what it takes to keep their aquariums and fish in optimum conditions. The advice provided, is readily available at all hours of the day be it via a phone call or internet. Being so dedicated, the fish available to buy are of the best quality and well cared for. Anything not in stock is easy sought out and ordered in with a simple request. I'm still incredibly happy with my purchases months on and would highly recommend Tropico Aquatics for your future aquarium additions. I'll be a returning customer definitely!

Brilliant place well set out ,lovely stock , quality stock as well as extremely good prices i would always choose tropico to any local fish store being his stock are better , cheaper and you get a much better service and he is also very knowledgeable and a very nice guy to deal with could not recommend tropico anymore !

All I can say Is 5* to James for service. I collected my fish and was made up with the quality of them. The price is also unbeatable. Fantastic stuff. Keep up the good work guys :-)

I ordered a thin rock 3d background and was quoted about 2 weeks for delivery.
when it arrived (early i might add) there was a slight problem with the size not being right to my order, i thought to myself this is going to be a pain in the ass to sort but after a quick phone call to james the ball was rolling!
over the next few days he had texted me countless amounts of times updating me of what was going on and reasuring me it was being sorted!
it really made me feel at ease knowing that things were being looked into and within 4 days i had accepted delivery of the new background and at the same time they collected the old one.
i cannot say a bad word about this company and would definately recomend them to anyone and everyone!

well done for running a buisiness how they should be run.........by putting the costomer FIRST!!!!!!!

I live over a hour drive to James and its worth the drive to visit .i have searched out for certain fish in my area and always struck out and them met James who was able to find these fish for me and a awesome price which everyone likes . The main reason I use James is his knowledge on so many species and equipment and love the fact that in between running his business they also find time to host a auction with a massive range of dry goods and tropical plus marine fish . I have recommend them to many of my friends and am great full for all the help I have had so share the word guys a fish supplier that actually knows there stuff ,they are hard to find but do exist thank you once again for all the help cheers Steve holyhead

All the fish I've had from Tropico (whether by overnight courier or collection) have always arrived in good health. Communications are very good with quick response to any questions so you know exactly what's happening.
Nice to deal with someone who knows fish and is concerned with their welfare.

I've been buying fish from the guys at tropico aquatics for a few years now and have never had a complaint I find the service and advice invaluable when I decide to keep different species ( which I do a lot ) there always willing to help they seem to be more interested in the welfare of the fish than the bottom line

I've been keeping fish for a few years now but consider myself to be very much still a novice. I had a few issues with shop bought tropicals and had become disillusioned with the whole fish buying process, as it appeared to always be the same boring species for sale. I discovered Tropico Aquatics by accident, whilst trying to rescue an abused Plec from some well meaning absolute novices.!! I contacted James, explained its situation and he came with me a few days later to remove him to new pastures. When we took him safely back to Tropico's quarantine tank, I was amazdd. Tanks full of healthy unusual species with their own water supplies and aerator's in every tank. They all appeared to to be thriving and I was further impressed by James ability to help heal the plec almost almost instantly.
If you want great prices and sound knowledge from a genuine fish lover, then you would have to go a long way to get better service, advice or prices. They really care, not only about the fish but the fish's future health.. 100% recommend them an I don't buy from anywhere else. My tanks have never looked better. Thanks Team :)

A great selection of fish, and if it's not in then just ask. Always around to answer even the weirdest of questions. If you're a beginner then you know you can ask questions and get a suitable range of fish, or if you've been doing this for years and are into your breeding/showing/spending too much money on fish, then if they don't have it then they'll do their best to get it.
