Crap dont go
Crap aint worth the money when to get stuff from the car ready for entertainment at tea time to be told you can’t get back in as the ticket is only day use and was told we had to be out by 6 by a cocky guy in the gate !

On 05/06/25, I booked my family in for a truck pull event scheduled for 17/08/25.
We were really looking forward to it, but after driving two hours to the venue, we found out the event had been cancelled without any prior notice. Nobody there seemed to know why.
I was told on the day that a refund would be issued, but that never happened.
£57.38 down the drain. Thanks for nothing.

We attended Truckfest Ardingly South East, 2 adults 5 children.
We enjoyed the day for what it was (the BMX show was amazing) and we filled the day with what was there, but I was also very disappoined for a number of reasons.
1) You do not know the schedule of events until you turn up and buy a programme for £5.
This is on top of the entrance fee paid. So first con.
2) Then on arrival ( as couldn't know beforehand because of point 1) we find out the car crushing monster show isn't on, which is the main show and reason for us attending the day. Very frustrating and disappointing.
3) Main arena BMX bike show was amazing, however it was on 3 times! They clearly didn't have enough to fill the shows for the day. Especially without the car crushing monster truck main show. Very disappointing.
4) It is expensive. On top of the entrance fee, the monster truck ride was £10 per person. Bouncy castles were £4 per child for 5 minutes!
I contacted the company about my disappointment about the monster truck show and they just informed me that the schedule of events was subject to change, again very disappointing, and won't be returning for this reason, as felt we were misold, as online it says the car crushing monster truck show will be at ALL truckfest events.
This truckshow is in the wrong place. Bring back Peterborough. Trying to get in was horrible signage was poor. The layout was not good. There were fence were you had to go back on yourself to get to the next section. Trying to find loos was a nightmare. When you did there were long queues. At least this year there wasn't mud everywhere
Despite the weather not being on our side, still had the most incredible time! Thousands of trucks that looked incredible, loads of memorabilia stalls that my son purchased loads of stuff. Food trucks, drink trucks, everything u need in one place. Buzzing atmosphere. Bring on 2026
We will start with the negative, cost of the day and all available items mind blowing! You expect food and drink to cost more but found this to be well over priced for what you are there to experience. Map wasn't helpful at all, we spent the first hour asking people where the Plaza was for performances and no one seemed to know (not even staff) we even had people ask us. So why have maps available that arent readable!! I used to go Peterborough as a child 25-30yrs ago and absolutely loved the day and was mind blown by all the performances start to finish. With so much to see and do. (Many trucks, monster trucks, bikes, cars, fire, planes, bands. I even seen Take That for the 1st time a Truck Fest) Let's just say this wasn't the case here. Been trying to come for a couple of years and couldn't wait to finallly go yesterday with my family especially Son who loves monster trucks. Well each performance was disappointing the FMX we had seen before and were great but unfortunately weather and grounds let them down at this but can't fault it as safety 1st. They cancelled fly buys and parchuters on the day which was disappointing, The motor bike stunts were good but the arena they had was to small to really show their skills, monster truck show had one truck showing one jump 4 times and that was it! Boring! Wrestling lasted literally 5mins and just 2 ladies not a mixture of acts! Was so bad. People wait hours to see a show for 5mins!! Highlight after such a disappointing, unsatisfied kind of day for the whole family was the hour long wait for a photo with the gladiators. This was worth it but we didn't need the rudeness of the man going round telling us we are wasting our time. These children adore these people, yes there is always a risk with a time limit amd understand they can only do so much but how this could be explained to the crown of children waiting could of been much nicer than it was given on the day. I'm glad I went after all this time and safe to say I won't be going again.
£30 ripoff to get thorough the gates no thought for disabled people at all had to walk miles to get in the gate. Mens and woman’s toilets are disgusting. Not very well organised at all no signage on the main road. All in all not a very good day out at all will not be returning
Very unprofessional staff at LINCOLN showground,,arrived on Friday was just told "camping is that way go and find a pitch",,£7-50 a pint or £6-50 a can,,we are working people not millionaires,,the ground is NOT suitable for Trucks or camping,, I hope along will my party of 20 that you DON'T have Truckfest there next year,,,,by the way we all left Saturday morning,,,
