True Caller Invade Privacy and can't delete personal info

Predatory billing. Upgraded to premium without consent. No refund.

I've got my refund, but they scam people even though I canceled my subscription they charged me for extra year and I found out that multiple people have the same issue with them.

I subscribed to Truecaller Premium from their website but have been unable to access the premium features on my phone for days now.

Support responses have been repetitive and unhelpful. I think they don't even read my responses just repeat the answer again and again.

"TRUECALLER" if you read, their terms and conditions at the very end you will see that, they are based in India New Delhi,the country where most calls come from !!!

Premium service not activated even after multiple attempts to contact support.
I purchased truecaller premium from Google Play Store and the money was deducted from my card. The app did not update my subscription and shows as if it was never paid. I contacted support multiple times, day after day and they initially claimed that I never made the payment even though I shared proof from Google Play Store. After this, any support ticket I opened was closed without any communication and they claimed it is resolved. I looked through reviews on the play store and it seems that taking money and not activating premium service is a trend and the developer is scamming customers. I tried to get a refund from Google but they claim that it does not meet their policies and I should contact the developer myself. This is just so frustrating.

Don't use it, once your number is in their system you will receive calls that you don't even know. Of all places, it doesn't work like a caller ID and blocking program in my eyes Seems more like a program that can send all kinds of crap to your mobile number

They won't refund a accidentally bought yearly premium subscription. Even tough the refund were proposed at the same day of the purchase date.

Been using Truecaller for a couple of years and never had any problems and can't for the life of me understand the bad reviews. All I can think is user error configuring blocking ect, The app blocking phone calls with a secret settings made me lol

When I first installed this app, I'd find that some of my contact got missing, deleted from my contact list! I thought maybe it was some mistake of mine the first time. But it happened repeatedly, each day one or two of my contact list numbers would get missing.
Then, I couldn't delete a number. Each time I deleted a number, I always found it on my contact list the next day.
It keeps my phone lagging. When a call comes in, I only hear the phone ringing but I can't answer the call cos the caller id wouldn't come up and there was no option to answer the call!
So, I deleted the app and I've never had any problem of such ever since!

Where do I begin? I downloaded TrueCaller and cancelled within 24 hours 7 days before the trial expired. I was than charged for this app. that I cancelled. My bank has tried to dispute this charge but they are refusing to credit me. I contact True Caller and provide hard evidence and they say I was never charged, however after sending all of my bank correspondance they have NOT yet responded after 13+ emails to them. Horrible app. - horrible and lack of customer service, I will leave negative feedback on every site for this company, no one should have to experiance what I went thru and months later still no update and no credit.

This app helps me but always asking for paid plan.
