Unresponsive and takes forever
The company wouldn't respond to complaints for weeks and spent months to ship my order, much longer than they said it would take.

I have not been talking, via chat as that is the only option, for 10 days without a resolution. Anytime I ask for another sku its magically out of sock. It also cost me $20 to ship the item back thus I am out of that money and a large amount of time dealing with it.
The only reason I'm giving them a 1 star is the actual item was nice, just too small but I'm sure I can find something similar elsewhere. DO NOT ORDER!

I purchased a corset from this compaby because of their No Nonsense Rerurns. It came with a “free gift” which I accepted. When I received the corset, it did not fit my body as I have a long torso. I immediately requested the refund RMA which was required to return the item. They initially didn’t respond then gave me the run-around for weeks. I still have not gotten a refund but wish I had looked here first. Do not purchase from this company. They do not honor their return policy’s and their products are not quality. The “free waist trainer” zipper broke while I was just trying it on. It was garbage. They just sent it so I couldn’t return the $85.00 corset. Buyer beware

I ordered a corset from TrueCorset and received it on 1/23/2025. The item did not fit and I have been trying to return it since 1/25/2025. I still have not received a response from the company after sending an email for an RMA.
SCAMMERS
They attempted to scam my wife out of her return. They tried saying it wasn't in their system, followed it up by denying her return because the shipping label tracking number didn't match (it did).
The return process is not just sketchy, they illegally proceed to break state regulations and their own policy.
The company is operating in unethical ways not in keeping with UK consumer/trading laws. Don’t buy.
Update 07/04/25:
I was asked to update my review if the situation was resolved.
It remains unresolved and I have repeatedly asked for evidence of the refund being processed via PayPal; PayPal themselves have tried to assist and have confirmed no refund has been processed at this stage. This is nearly three months since the corsets were sent back.
If no refund is issued I will be taking this to Small Claims Court. Any other customers who wish to gain their money back, I encourage at this stage to do the same. For a company to operate like this is unacceptable; more than that it goes against their duties under the Consumer Rights Act so while I’d like to avoid going to court, as they still haven’t given a refund, it looks like that’s where this is heading. It’s a shame, especially in comparison to how it used to function.
TrueCorset/Truetopia Ltd if you’d like to offer a solution to resolve this promptly we can avoid legal action.
I am so incredibly frustrated with this company and my recent and ongoing experience.
I purchased two corsets for my wedding in December 2024. The company were initially great, and sent these in time to arrive for the wedding. Unfortunately both corsets were marked and yellowed, I assumed from possibly age while in storage. There is no longer a way to directly email the company - The email address listed on the emails from the company is a do not reply one (despite directing you to use this to contact them - it bounces back). The phone number has not connected on any of the times I have tried it. So your one option is a webchat function which does not work on web browsers on a computer, which would reliably keep the chat open. It only works on phone browsers - if you have to go off this to check for a photo or any information, it stops connecting and you start over and over again. If no-one is available it comes up with a text box to get an email back - this works some of the time, but I have also only sometimes gained responses to my emails. I have answered the questions and then to this day, a month later, not received a further reply when the issue was not resolved.
I had already requested an 'RMA' through the website on my account to return it, but not heard back, and this had not been approved. When I did get a response, this was approved and I proceeded to send the corsets back using Royal Mail Tracked 48. I then found I couldn't, and still cannot get back onto my account as the reCAPTCHA on the website comes up with an error. I have used 3 different browsers on my phone, all gaining the same error. I have used my work laptop and my own laptop with different browsers and wifi connections and still get this error. I was informed it is only me and that was it. The error, when searched on Google, is an error for the site owner to resolve.
So at this point, I have sent the corsets back. I have paid for this as the company told me to, and been told they do not issue a refund for the postage despite this being due to the items being damaged, and their returns policy noting the buyer wouldn't pay postage. I can instead have this as store credit on a website I can't log into my account on.
I asked for a refund for one corset, and an exchange for the other.
I heard nothing for a while after I could see the return was delivered back to True Corset.
I chased using the chat function. I was asked for the tracking number. I provided this, and we had email correspondence again on 04/02/25 where I sent this over (again), having been told they were checking with the warehouse. I received no further reply and have not received any further correspondance.
So TrueCorset currently have both corsets. They have the funds that I paid for both corsets, and I also paid return postage.
I am still trying to get in contact with anyone who can resolve this. I have purchased multiple corsets from this company in the past when they used to respond to emails, and have good, prompt customer service. What happened? Incidentally I have tried sending all of my emails and queries to the email address I used to have - no response.
I raised the issues with the corsets on 19/12/24. It is 22/02/25 and I am out of pocket, without items, and, as someone who has worked in customer service, who is generally a calm, reasonable person, I am incredibly frustrated and my next step if there is no resolution (ie a full refund at this point) will be to contact Trading Standards.
Liars
The website says same day shipping but my order was not posted for a week and a half. The chat bot on their website is useless and the only way to get in contact with them was through facebook. They were also incredibly low in stock

Ordered a Size SM bathrobe. When it arrived it was clear the Size SM was mismarked. The arms were so long only a Gorilla would like the robe. I'm not a Gorilla. It took 2 weeks to get as far as this: they don't pay for returns even if wrong, and I finally got a return address mailing label. Now I've been waiting 4 weeks to settle this. Apparently it takes up to 20 days to get a refund. I'm still waiting for my refund. Never again. Buyer beware. Something wrong here.
