While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

DONT BUY IF A RETURN MIGHT BE NEEDED

I bought two adjustable wrenches from True Value store in North Branford Connecticut on 5/13/24. They were in plastic sealed packages which obviously had to be opened to examine them and use them. Upon doing so it was found that the heads were loose. When I tried to return them on 5/14/24, I was told that I couldn't do so because the packages had been opened.

I am out $11.99 and $14.99 plus CT sales tax for two defective wrenches which I can't use.

True Value Hardware customer service says they aren't responsible for how their stores treat "TRUE VALUE" customers.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM TRUE VALUE HARDWARE STORES IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE OF A RETURN BEING NEEDED.
