I have had a pending deposit from the…
I have had a pending deposit from the department of Veterans Affairs for three days now I have asked them multiple times to release a pending deposit from the government so that I can access my money. They have not done it.
Don’t do it
Don’t do it. Do not use them. Their customer service is horrible. They have big issues every year getting your tax documents sent out. This year I’ve placed three calls trying to get them and was told it would be emailed right away. Days later, no email. Then I was told they don’t email and I would have to go to a Truliant branch to get it. Not convenient. And today I am being told I can’t just download it from my online account because their system has been down for weeks. This bunch is just not worth the aggravation. Don’t do it.
Called to report a Fraudulent Activity…
Called to report a Fraudulent Activity - twice was told I was crazy because they could not see it - I read to them the exact wording and exact amounts - then was told why don't you call this number (not I am sorry ma'am I cannot find the transaction let me transfer you and in case we are disconnected here is the number - just here call this number). The other number said yes I see it but we can't help you - close this account and open a new one. What great help!!! NOT

Management and Customer Services in NC beware of the branch lies.
Horrible, banking institution
Truliant Federal credit Union is the worst banking experience I’ve ever had they cannot give you accurate information. When you call their telephone service you cannot get to your money through their ATMs. There is a constant wait at every branch teller. They’re very incapable of giving a quality service for your financial needs. I do not suggest anyoneto do banking with Truliant. Thank you.
I was at the Mallard Creek location
I was at the Mallard Creek location, not very pleasant, very nasty attitudes, didn't try to help me out. Just sat there and looked me.
Truliant is a great Credit Union
I worked at Truliant as the Director of Security and have read these reviews and of course they are from most who have abused their own credit, argued over their personally created problems, and have gone from one institution to another due to their own making. I dealt with all these complainers so I know! Most of the complaints stated herein are false. Truliant is not a bank, it is a credit union and operation is different than banks. Quit crying and just follow the rules!
DONT DO IT!!
If I could leave 0 stars I would! I've never had a banking experience worse than with Truliant and they do nothing at all the compensate you or make up for the mistakes. The most you will get is a "I'm sorry that happened.”
1. If you are refinancing a loan- they won’t wire the funds to your current lender. So be prepared to pay double interest for both loans for 2 weeks while your payoff check is being shipped via the lowest possible speed mail possible.
2. To open a loan you must open a savings account as well- they are both connected. My loan was not set up correctly or finished processing correctly, therefore my savings account was not set up correctly. Which brings me to my issue below.
3. After making multiple phone calls and speaking to at least 5 people I will summarize my experience. I have spent no less 3 hours on the phone attempting to rectify the issue above. Because my accounts were not setup correctly, my loan payments from my Truliant savings account to my loan were rejected. I was then cut off from making online payments online and charged returned check fees. Each time I called no one knew what was going on and I was put on hold for 30 minutes at a time. I was told the issue was rectified and it would not be and I would have to call again. I believe the issue has now been resolved but I cannot say for sure and am not hopeful. I requested compensation for their error- I had to spend hours on the phone trying to fix their mistake just to be able to pay my loan. I asked for compensation for my time, I received nothing. Not even a little $25 account credit. I should have been paid the minimum wage for hours on the phone as much as they made me work just to be able to pay my loan. Had I not continued to call and call and call I wouldn’t have been able to make my payments.
4. They close at 5:30 so you’ll most likely have to carve out time during your work day to get assistance.
I wish I never opened my loan with them and as soon as it’s paid off I will be closing my accounts. That is if I don’t just go to another bank and refinance before then.
While they do have good personal loan rates- they definitely make you work for it with the headaches they cause. Worst banking experience I’ve ever had in my life. I feel so uncomfortable having a loan with them and knowing they have something that is tied to my credit score and can harm me due to their mistakes and negligence.
Avoid them at all costs
Where do I begin? They are truly the worst financial institution I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. From the lack of customer service availability during the pandemic, to online banking and lack of ease in conducting financial transactions. Now, I've closed all my accounts and am NO longer a customer, yet they are still selling my personal information to outside firms for direct marketing purposes. And I previously requested on MULTIPLE occasions to "opt out" of all marketing. I could go on but I don't have the time or the energy. They are truly outstanding at being the WORST financial institution ever.

I love Truliant
I love Truliant! I've been with Truliant for well over a decade and trust that my money is in good hands. I have come to know several of the team members and appreciate their friendliness and knowledge. :)
They are very dishonest People
They are very dishonest People, you can start at the very top and go straight down to the people that answer the telephone, they will hurt you, they will lie to you, they will embarrass you, they will not tell you why the block your credit card, until you call them to wait 5 to 10 minutes to talking with a live Robot, by blocking your credit card for no real good reason, but they can and do not give a dam of how bad it makes you the card holder look there Attorney does not care about the truth, they will refuse to provide you documents, they do not care what they do to the Customer they use FIS/WorldPay which is as bad as Truliant Federal Credit Union, they do not care about the Customer, they even lie about making loans and why the reject a loan when credit scores are in the 700 Plus, here is a written statement by the Attorney that works at TFCU written word by Reginald Mathis Truliant may close or suspend account at any time and for any reason permitted by law, even if the Customer is NOT in DEFAULT then they twist the word to say this protect our members from Fraud and prevents our members from engaging in activities that may further cause a loss of credit resources, see how they twist word to say they are protecting you and it is your money not Truliant Federal Credit Union, they are in my opinion CORRUPT, DSIHONEST, HURTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL 100% with my Money and telling me how to spend my mon ey and they have no legal rights to do this. The USA should shut this bank down 100% for ever but they like the tax dollars they pay and not the truth and how they damage People
