Do not use Trupower Australia
Do not use Trupower Australia (trupower.com.au). Due to Trupower Australia's ill advice on the location of installing a solar battery, I have incurred $400 to relocate my NBN box. After confirming numerous times with their sales representative, William and a conversation with a member of their installation team, I was assured that the location I nominated was suitable for installing a solar battery. I was later advised that all I needed to do was to relocate the NBN box that was sitting beneath the meter box. Consequently, I have spent $400 to relocate the NBN box. On 1 April 2026, when their contractor came on site to install the battery, he advised me that the location did not have the required clearance to install a solar battery. In addition, he advised me that the NBN box wouldn’t have mattered and did not need to be relocated. His name is Prit from Excel Electrical Solutions. I have incurred $400 and the NBN box is now at a worse location with worse cabling solely due to their ill advice and the total lack of professional knowledge and customer care. They have refused to compensate me for the $400 and I did not even get a response from them.
