Highly professional. Recommended!

I had an issue with a cashback and their team resolved my issue on a high priority. They kept me informed about what they were doing to help me and we're always very considerate and courteous in every communication.

Needs more retailers

Integrates well into Monzo. I think the idea is great, a central API so that retailers don't have to do their own separate version. It just needs more retailers to sign up; the only two I've used so far are Just Eat and KFC.

Works like a charm

It does what it says on the tin. I have it connected to my Monzo account and my loyalty stamps show up on my app. Simples.

Only drawback is the lack of retailers adopting Flux. Great idea at the moment but I don't think its success will tell until it gets more brands onboard.

Nice concept.

I like the idea of digital receipts but it's less use in practice. The only retailer I have used that actually supports Flux is KFC, which always prints out a paper receipt anyway (so they know which order belongs to which customer). The Flus electronic receipt doesn't include the offers on the printed receipt (e.g. 15% off your next meal) and is not a VAT receipt (so useless for expenses).

On the other hand Flux doesn't cost anything to use and applies discounts automatically, so there's no reason not to use it, but you may need a paper receipt anyway.

At the moment Flux doesn't automatically prevent tills from printing a paper receipt. Some of our retailers (like Itsu, for example) have opt-in receipts, so you're able to refuse a paper receipt. But other retailers don't yet have this functionality, so in those cases you'll still receive a paper receipt - I know that's the case at KFC at the moment (though we hear this should be changing in the future).

With regards to VAT, we'll always include it on Flux receipts if a retailer sends the data to us. Most of our receipts are VAT receipts, but unfortunately KFC isn't yet, so if you do need it for expenses you'll have to take a paper receipt when you shop there.

We hear you that these things are important, and we'll continue to work to improve our digital receipts - it's our aim that in the future, they'll completely eradicate the need for paper receipts.
