Turban Adventures Review

I found Turban Adventures on instagram and after reading so many positive reviews I contacted them and booked a trip to the golden triangle and Ranthambhore in January over WhatsApp.

From first contact Manohar was polite, professional and answered all my questions very quickly. I was impressed with the informative and fast response times.

I had a few very specific requests such as renting a sari for the Taj Mahal, having Henna hand painting and I wanted to add in a tiger safari in Ranthambore. None of this was a problem and the company is very adaptable in terms of planning an itinerary. Manahor sent me my itinerary with hotels, and without hotels so that we could see which option fit our budget.we had a varied and busy itinerary which was later adapted to our needs on the day.

On arrival in India, we were picked up by our driver Tejinder Singh aka Tedji. He was polite, respectful, highly professional and quickly became more than a driver to us and we certainly left India having gained a friend.
Tedjis car was comfortable and his driving was very calm and safe. We even had a selection of snacks and treats every day in the car. I felt really grateful for Tedji. Being a woman, I was initially nervous about travelling in India. We were travelling as a couple, but if I returned to India again I would feel very safe traveling alone with Tedji as my driver. Always on time, always smiling and customer service was second to none. A credit to the company.

In terms of food and drinks, we were always taken to clean and tasty restaurants. We didn’t get sick once and that’s something that I really worried about initially.

All guides were very good and knowledgeable. A true highlight was some of the incredible photographs that our guides captured for us.
Another highlight was being able to spend an evening with a lovely local family and learn all about Indian weddings and family traditions. And we cannot forget the magnificent Taj Mahal or the Tiger sighting at Ranthambore.

India has exceeded my expectations. I was blown away with this trip and cannot recommend Turban Adventures enough. Thank you for a fabulous week in India. It won’t be the last! Follow me on @wee.scottish.wanderer for more travel content.

Turban were outstanding from the very beginning of the process of planning the trip -- I gave them my parameters, i.e., arrival to Jaipur and then how many days we had for the whole Jaipur/Agra/Delhi trip, and they then worked with me to fashion the itinerary that suited me and my daughter best. Then we were met at the airport in Jaipur by the kindest and most reliable driver who stayed with us the whole trip and took care of us like he was taking care of family -- always there when we needed him to take us to the next place, making good recommendations on restaurants, etc. In each city we had a different guide and they were all very good -- not necessarily super knowledgeable on every aspect of history and architecture, but clearly well versed in the place and able to navigate us through the different sites most ably. And an added bonus was that they were all excellent at taking nice photos too! All in all, we were 2 women traveling in India and we could not have felt better taken care of!

Amazing trip with professional tour guides!
We were visiting our friends’ wedding in Rajasthan. Before and after the wedding we had an amazing program organized by Turban Adventures in Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur. Every detail was considered to make our trip memorable - even sim-cards were provided to keep us connected! The tour guides were knowledgeable and pleasant. The plane tickets, bus transfers, hotels, venues were arranged thoughtfully to provide the maximum comfort to our group. I’m in love with India now thanks to Turban Adventures. Can’t wait to come back again!

The entire trip was a good experience and timings of drivers was good.

Turban Adventures arranged a 10 day tour for myself and my daughter to tour Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur.

The entire trip was well-planned and we had a great experience. Turban Adventures arranged for a vehicle and driver for the entire period, hotels and daily guides as needed, as well as one flight connection.

We always felt secure: The driver was excellent in navigating challenging driving conditions; the company suggested clean restaurants which could accommodate a variety of tastes; the hotels were safe and secure; and daily guides helped direct us where to go. The company was also always available to respond to any issue we may have had via telephone, email or whatsapp. The owner even met us in Jaipur.

The logistics were seamless -- the driver and guides were on-time each day and the hotel check-in was easy.

We had a full itinerary of visits to temples, historic forts and palaces, walks through markets and other interesting sites. Daily guides helped to explain the histories of the sites we visited.

I'd recommend Turban Adventures to anyone considering a private tour through the Golden Triangle.

I have used this company everytime I look to travel around India, and it as never disappointed. This was the first time I went with the kids (4 and 1) and was feeling quite apprehensive about travelling around with them. I can honestly say that Manohar planned THE most EPIC adventure and we all had the best time.

From hotels that catered to accomodating our sleeping arrangements, to food, and even providing us some meds when the little one was unwell. We were in great hands. Reliable drivers who were so knowlegable and most importantly safe! He had arranged for a car seat as I was worried about the little one travelling long distances. We did a safari in Ranthambore, palaces in Rajasthan, The Golden Temple in Amritsar and so much more.

I cannot wait to go back, the kids were so consumed abut what India had to offer, they also cant wait to go back and it was all thanks to Turban Adventures!!

Manohar provides very professional service. He is responsive and accountable when challenges come up. Overall excellent service!!

Hotels booked were top notch, excellent hosts, front desk and employees. Breakfast included was great.
All the tour guide were excellent, knowledgeable and fun. The travel arrangements between hotel to airport/railway station/private trips were all excellent and well planned. The train travel was comfortable and cozy.

Very well planned trip, my family enjoyed it. Really appreciate Turban Adventures to help plan this vacation. This was worth it. We know who to reach out to for our next trips to Europe.

We were a little skeptical about using a travel agent from a different country that we found on the internet but Manohar and the entire team at Turban Adventures truly blew us away. They exceeded expectations in every way possible, came out to meet us a couple times in person and continued to check in on us throughout the trip to ensure that everything was meeting and exceeding our expectations. Well over all experience with turban adventure was great. We had private car and personal tour guide who was taking us around they were professional and same time friendly. Which made our trip and experience smooth and enjoyable. As this was our honeymoon trip I would like to advice in terms of booking hotel for stay can be arranged with some special amenities ( towel decor , welcome greeting card or flowers) which could have been cheery on the cake . I understand we had our Vietnam 🇻🇳 tour booked for 7 days which is not really enough to cover beautiful country. Our 7 days itinerary was for Hanoi , Ha Long Bag Cruise , Ho Chi Minh City which was good . But tourist visiting Vietnam 🇻🇳 has already has envision of capturing few pictures special at golden bridge in Ba Na Hills near Da Nang , trip won’t feel complete without golden bridge . Hence I would like to suggest in 7 to 8 days trip Ba Na Hills should be considered ( instead of Ho Chi Minh City ) . Would like to consider your tour again for our next visit to Vietnam 🇻🇳 and it would be Da Nang and Sa Pa this time .

I attended the Holi Tour 2024, organised by Turban Adventures. It was a lovely experience! Everything was well organised, yet flexible according to our needs. I would describe the journey as really authentic but I still felt safe at every moment. We had amazing tour guides, amazing hotels and delicious food. Thank you, Manohar, my heart is still full <3
I highly recommend this tour and company without any hesitation!

A very well organised and well paced tour with a good mix of top sights and cultural experiences. The Holi celebrations included both a large organised event and spending time with family and friends at the guide’s house.
The hotels were high standard throughout the tour and the car and driver were top notch. The local guides spoke good English and were friendly and informative.
The tour was good value and included 4 star hotels, all meals (mostly in local restaurants), and all transport including pick-up/drop-off at the airport.
Turban Adventures attended to every detail and responded rapidly to all queries before and during the tour. We would have no hesitation recommending Turban Adventures for an authentic experience and value for money.

We started looking at booking a trip to include Holi by ourselves but soon decided it was not easy to find hotels or transport during the festival. We found Turban Adventures on Tour Radar and have not regretted our decision to book direct with them. Seeing the best sites in The Golden Triangle, and having a great experience on Holi having fun at a big festival then enjoyed being invited into the home of one of our guides and meeting his family.
Manohar and his team go above and beyond, even meeting us at the airport at 1.30 am. The tour packed in all the main sites but we also have great memories of seeing locals going about their daily lives. The guides and drivers were excellent, and the hotels were better than I had expected. It was great that the cost of the food was included, though the cost of drinks was more than I had expected. I would have no hesitation recommending booking direct as it was good value and I don't think a bigger company could have provided a better organised or a more memorable tour.

This 7 day tour was the highlight of our 3 week stay in India. Celebrating Holi was special and something we will never forget. Turban adventures were by far the best tour operator out of the three tour operators we utilised. Communication was excellent, the tour was as described or better and the guides worked tirelessly to make sure we had the best experience possible. I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to India. With the help of TURBAN ADVENTURES we had an incredible seven day adventure tailored to our interests. During the planning process, we started with a loose idea of what we wanted to do and with Manohar’s help and suggestions we soon had the perfect itinerary for our 7 days.

We had a private tour guide at each of the 3 cities we visited (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur), all of whom were knowledgeable, informative, friendly, personable, and prompt. We had a plan for each day but there was flexibility to make changes if needed. We traveled by car with our driver, Monu, who stayed with us for the week. Monu is the best! He was always on time, a skilled driver navigating the traffic-filled streets, polite, friendly, and helpful and the car was always clean and comfortable. The team that Manohar arranged for us could not have been better, all of whom enhanced our visit.

Manohar strives to make his business the best it can be, and it shows as our trip could not have been better. My only wish is that we had more time to explore this magical country filled with beautiful people.

We went to India for a group trip across Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. What a wonderful experience! Thanks to Turban Adventures our trip was perfectly organized in every detail. I went to India from Argentina with no expectations what so ever. I have heard a few things from relatives about their culture but wanted to experience on my own. Honestly, Turban Adventures made my trip great. Great hotels and sightseeing spots. Felt safe all my stay, amazing guides.

The trip arrangements for south India were excellent and the guidance provided were very helpful.

Turban Adventures organised the first 5 days of 2 weeks in India and I wish I had put the whole time in Manohar’s hands. We had a brilliant time with them.
