Grandest Virtual Lan 2020 best event ever
Attended the Grandest Virtual Lan 2020 and was the best event I have ever attended in my life. EU4 is great game and Turbolarp and Paradox made it even better. Their staff is also super nice :)

The EU4 Grandest LAN event was incredible. The side events like harp music, playing historical events and archery really completed an already great gaming experience. The highlight for me was going for a night hike to an old graveyard where they read us a Grim story. It could be five stars if they had tried more to make the in-game environment more enjoyable. There were times where I felt like some unfun situations (not pointing fingers) could have avoided by having better rules and enforcement.

The EU4LAN Party is the absolute best. And Mozsna's pretty cool too.

Turbolarp went above and beyond to create an experience that was enjoyable for everybody! Everybody on their team was passionate about creating the best experience possible and we had a wonderful weekend.

The event was great - as it was last year - but bad faith players were allowed to do things which should never have been allowed. Two scenarios stick out in my mind:
1. Selling provinces off and jumping to another nation *is* nation ruining (and it unfairly gives power to another player). It should be strictly forbidden and especially so when the nation is still completely viable as was true of the papal state this year.
2. GMs need to learn the game more so they can adjudicate. My team was bogged down in war for 36 years simply because Nepal refused to lose/win a war that wasn't 100% despite declaring a bankruptcy and depending on a neighboring nation for money and support against rebels. They literally lost more land to rebels than we demanded as restitution simply because they were being stubborn. That isn't fun and it is in violation of the stated rule that people take fair war deals.

I attended the EU4 Grandest LAN in Moszna Castle in 2019. It was absolutely one of the most fun experiences I have had in years! The organization was fantastic, service was great - whatever stupid ideas we had throughout the event, TurboLarp were right on board with us. Fantastic experience, will go again if I ever have the opportunity!

Improvement over last year definitely. Shortening the event was a great move and kept the game exciting.
Next time I would like to see something against the hugboxing. It's no fun if you fight the same opponents all the time. But maybe that's just the nature of people playing.

I have worked closely with the people behind Turbolarp and have also been a player and volunteer at many events run by them. I highly recommend them for their professionality, inclusivity, creativity, and kindness. This crew is one of a kind!
I have attended events run by the team behind Turbolarp and not only have the events run smoothly, every person I have come into contact with at said events has been professional, friendly and ready to help! I have signed up to one of their events in 2019 and would recommend their services to others as well.
The folks at Turbolarp are extremely fun to work with, as well as great at what they do.
I've been a volunteer and a player at the events run by Turbolarp team several times and I can say only the best words about their professionalism:) I know they are educating themselves all the time, open to new solutions and people. These people are passionate about what they do, and I mean not only making stuff about an interesting topic, but designing it to be a safe and well thought-through customer friendly project. It was a pleasure to play and to work with these people.
If you are looking for a company that will take care of everything from day one - you couldn't find a better crew. They will make sure every single thing is taken care of, and they will solve any unforseen issues swiftly and painlessly. I met them in 2015 and observed them as they grew over the years. They have handled venues, catering, scripts, participants, volunteers, and transportation in a way that made work with them an adventure. Cannot recommend them enough!
A group of enthusiasts and experienced organizers, who always take good care of participants. Professionalism, great skills, wonderful people and a massive amount of positive energy.
The founders have an immense experience in their field, are good people and knows how to make you feel special.
I would trust Turbolarp with my newborn (if I had one such).
