For Land Rover this is the 'go to' place for advice and the rebuilding of cylinder heads and complete engines and also the purchase of engine-related service parts and components. They have previously rebuilt a Defender engine for me. Now they have completed another cylinder head rebuild involving skimming, valve guide reaming (valves too tight), valve seat cutting, and new valve springs and valves. This company is so user friendly. In this session I benefitted hugely by much advice freely given by Richard. Any reader of this review might also wish to know that the first port of call for apparent cylinder head ailments should be the ancillary services. So smoke for example may be due to failed turbo seals, faulty injection or injectors and so on. I mention this because I had already removed the head and couldn't do a compression test and all checks were therefore retrospective. The collection and the return of the head were arranged by Freda. Both were prompt and efficient with full notification. It has been a pleasure to deal with this company for components, which have been selected by working experience to be demonstrably good, and for rebuilding. It is a thoroughly professional and friendly company. I keep my vehicles for a long time and depend on Turners. They are one of my triumvirate of engine, transmission and fuelling companies that I always turn to.
