Real trash. Spent days emailing Twilio to try and get going on Thier system. Every time smacked back with foolish "anti-fraud" queries. Every time a new agent and new questions, many already cove... See more

another 1 star review..
another 1 star review... i dont understand how this company is still in business... everything about this company and their services are horriable. jump through hoops get charged $$ and you still cant use their services... i request to close and refund my account and they only give me back about 60% of what they charged me, but no services we provided to me... what a joke! short this stock to $0!!!!
What a debacle
What a debacle. I follow their guidelines exactly to register a campaign yet they deny it very time and want me to change it, You can't talk to anybody. They are very vague as to what changes you have to make. It's like they move the goal posts every time they deny it. Each time you resubmit it takes almost 2 weeks to just get denied again. All this while you are paying a monthly fee for a service you can't use.
This company acts as a hub for a scam…
This company acts as a hub for a scam company who then harrass householders regarding energy suppliers.
The telephone number has been reported as nuisance calls from a large number of people.
I checked the telephone number and it located the company Twillo based in Ireland as the original source. If this company is genuine they need to verify their customer base.
Worst Customer Service I've ever experienced
Have been trying to get support on a rejected A2P brand campaign for THREE months. Their customer service makes suggestions that don't align with the rejected errors. The interface is not user friendly and it's extremely difficult to find the settings they're suggesting you make. I've asked to speak to someone on the phone and they refuse to have someone call me whilst offering no actual help. Take your money elsewhere, this business feels scammy.
Garbage service
Garbage service. Twilio suspended my account out of nowhere.
By far the most user unfriendly…
By far the most user unfriendly service. A nightmare to do anything....
I strongly recommend to find alternative providers.
very bad
very bad. can not set up the api/otp or whatever. you keep getting charges for overused their system that not even set up.
be careful :don't give them your IC.
One of their Suppor Specialist named…
One of their Suppor Specialist named Ankit underhandedly cancelled my "Free Forever" Sendgrid account. He did this so that I would be forced onto their paid plans, since Sendgrid no longer offers any free or limmited email service. I was strictly using Sendgrid for appication testing. In addition to 'yanking' my account, he disabled my username and credentials too, which effectively cut me off from any recourse or complaint path. No login, no support history, no escalation.
I'm learning more about Twilio's tactics to hurt existing customers. Since they discontinued their free tier, the cleanest way to migrate their legacy free users to paid plans is exactly that: cancel the old account, forcing you to create a new one where the free option no longer exists. That's pretty bad.
Just signed up for an account...customer service SCAM!
Just signed up for an account to try to use them in my software.
Apparently using a VPN while signing up triggers their fraud department. Why?
Then they they ask you for a TON of information as you were signing up for some incubator or business accelerator, as if they need to approve the validity of your business idea to let you use their software.
It just seems like a way to collect data on the type of business trying to use their services. SCAM!
If you're lucky enough to read this before signing up, find another service.
Horrible worst nightmare ever
Horrible worst nightmare ever
the A2P Campaign registration keep rejected for unknown reasons and when you reach out to support they give you another reason and when you ask on how to fix, no one answer it's been over a month
STAY AWAY FORM THEM
what a shame, strong functions great implementation BUT they support is none exists and the help is not there at all, horrible
Twilio deceiving trap
Please join me to the list of unsatisfied defrauded customers in the reviews reported. They should shut down these thieves. Zero customer support.
Hard to deel with and keep asking…
Hard to deal with and keep asking documents that do not even exist.
Extremely disappointing support…
Extremely disappointing support experience. I added $20 credit to my account on March 18 2026 without using any services. I raised refund request via support ticket #25705020 and followed up 4 times over 5 days with absolutely zero response. This is unacceptable for a paying customer. Avoid Twilio if you expect basic customer support.
BAD Twilio services
paid for Twilio services, but after more than three months, I still cannot use the platform as intended.
My campaign keeps getting rejected over and over again. Each time, a new reason is provided, even after I carefully follow all the previous instructions and make the required changes. There is no clear, consistent guidance, and the requirements seem to change constantly.
This process has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming. Instead of helping businesses get up and running, it feels like Twilio is creating unnecessary barriers.
At this point, I’ve spent both money and a significant amount of time, with zero results.
I cannot recommend Twilio based on this experience.
New account verified and suspended within 24 hours
I have a brand new account from outside the US. After my account was fully verified, we went for the A2P verification. My account was suddenly suspended for fraud. I send them a dozen of emails, but nobody replies at all (6 days ago). I cannot call them, I cannot chat with them. We opened a new account and had the AI "help bot" saying it escalated my case, but nobody ever came back. If I would have known the bad reviews before we started, I would have never chosen Twilio in the first place.
I’ve been trying to verify my business…
I’ve been trying to verify my business for the last 3 weeks with all the correct information and they keep submitting back to me that it’s not a business. There is no support on the tickets either.
Repeated A2P Rejections with No Actionable Guidance (30909)
I attempted to register an A2P 10DLC campaign for a system alerting use case and encountered repeated rejections with error 30909 (CTA verification) across multiple submissions.
Each rejection provided the same generic explanation about “issues verifying the call to action,” but no specific detail on what actually failed. I updated the CTA language, disclosures, and sample messages multiple times based on the documentation, yet the campaign continued to be rejected.
There is no clear standard for what constitutes acceptable opt-in verification for internal or configuration-based alerting systems. Without concrete guidance or reviewer feedback, the process becomes trial-and-error with no clear path to resolution.
The vetting fee is non-refundable, even when rejections are tied to vague or unverifiable requirements.
This creates a loop where developers repeatedly submit compliant updates but are unable to complete registration due to lack of transparency in the review process.
Sketchy ID verification process
The company they use for identity verification called (Persona) has massive privacy issues surrounding it. They are very sketchy and are known to sell your data to governments and otherwise. I really want to use Twilio for my internal apps but i refuse to provide my id to these unaccountable third parties and its a shame
Manipulative Practices
Oh my God, the company set up is practically a scam, they want you to pay to set up an account get everything all set up and as soon as you actually try to use what you've set up and paid for already, they tell you that you have to go through a registration where you have to declare yourself an entity and all that because of US law, that should be something that is disclosed even before you make a single payment but instead they scam you out of $20, they are negligent, dangerous, and should be shut down.
Nothing worked, forced to pay
Nothing worked in the flow. They forced me to pay even before I could test their product. In the end I couldn t even use my whapp business account so I made the payment for nothing.
