Customer service is being very highly rude there website is down and it's not being fix at all I have contacted them twice and they don't care helping people as they are very discrimination they should be fired from there job.

As i am not a streamer the support offered was awful, they obviously didn't read my emails, constantly asked for info already provided and asked me to open a new call twice due to mistakes on their behalf.
The only want to help if you make them money.

Same problem as many other have had.
I had an account many years ago and decided to get back into streaming, but of course you have to go through 5 millions hoops to get your account back, but even after all that, they still won't let you get it back, absolutely piss poor customer service team.
They also will not delete the account so you would need to create a whole new email just to setup this pile of **** again.

I can't get back into my account because of 2FA and I have changed my phone number, I still use the same phone, but the authentication app doesn't show any accounts. They send me off to some other service and are unwilling to help. They are protecting me from from having access to my own account.

Absolute dogshit. Generic AI responses and will do nothing to attempt to right issues they have created for their customers.

My account is tied to an extremely old email I created about 20 years ago, eventually stopped using it and forgot credentials to log back in. Wasn't too worried since I had 2FA set up but eventually moved across the country and got a new phone number. Now twitch won't allow me to recover my account that's over 10 years old, even though I've offered to provide licenses/last 4 of SSN/answers to security questions etc. Typical automated email of "not associated with account." Impossible to get a human being to help you even though and here's the kicker, I'm still logged in on the old phone but since it's no longer associated with a phone number I can't get rid of 2FA, change my number to the new one, or change my old email to the new one. 10 year follows, friends, art friends have created for my background etc all gone because a human can't take 5 mins to verify I am who I am.

log in function is completely broken, always sign up through gmail or mail..
i am not getting a single sms they are sending or if they are sending or not so i can't even log back in or make a new account, unbelievable stupid and the worst site of all. i hate it soo much and never going anywhere near of it cuz everysingle time i try to understand it, there are problems everywhere and they only care about making more and more money shitty people

I started to stream on twitch in early 2021 so i was a new streamer at that tame i love the community feeling and as others have said it is truly the best place to watch stream you have missed or would like to watch again

when i was setting up my channel i had some help and good advice from streamers that have been on twitch longer than me and some of them have even followed my channel i have made friends on twitch from so many countrys which i never thought i would have

the streaming platform of twitch is a perfict place to build friendships and relax and watch other streamers play games that you enjoy for example a game called command and conquer red alert was a game i played alot in my childhood and was supprised to find people streaming it on here

twitch is a place to enjoy and i think there should be no place on here for hate as for me its twitch for life im not going any where else to stream

Absolutely horrible platform.

Inconsistent and selective enforcement is at an all-time high.

It's been exactly 4 months since they incorrectly banned my account of 12+ years for "fraud" (daily use, million+ messages, didnt stream, gifted 50 subs total across all years in 1 channel).

Anyone who has had any experience with Twitch support will likely tell you you are 99.9% likely to get a botted reply in a case like this.

I could provide any proof necessary that is possible of me. They could not ever prove I did anything wrong in relation to the false ban (because I didn't).

If they replied they'd have to admit they are wrong or someone banned me for a personal reason or other.

Horrible platform.

Encourages disturbing parasocial relationships, supports world ending oil companies and now has in essence, banned political chat when it's more prescient than ever.

Give me an alternative not owned by Google or Amazon and I'm there.

Worst community shadowbans you by community standards one doesn't like you there buddies join in like a goon squad freely hacking into your info extorting you to try and setup your account with no help from twitch but twitch will sell you there third party systems which all suck and are easy to exploit this experience has been from the start of my twitch experience

Too many ads, very bad platform to enjoy livestreams on. People are soo racists and rules do not make any sense. How are these porn channels even allowed here. Get real

Twitch likes to enforce their rules that makes no sense. People are saying racist and discriminating things yet Twitch doesnt care. They do care however if its extremely obvious. But they ignore the people that twist their words and finesses it. Instigating divisions among people. Like Hasan.

The amount of ads I get is unacceptable. Can't even watch for 2 minutes without an ad.

7-10 ads every 15 minutes is insane

Twitch's customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful. I was watching a stream where someone in the chat was making racist comments, sexual comments when 10 year Olds are in the chat, bullying, and more. The streamer was laughing encouraging this behavior. I reported the channel and the person making the inappropriate comments, after the person being targeted complained. The person being targeted did nothing to warrant the behavior towards them. No action was taken from Twitch. These comments still continue often. No one gets in trouble. No one gets warned. No one gets banned or removed. Needless to say i unfollowed the channel and don't use my account so much anymore. Streamers are just as guilty as the person in the chat that is making the inappropriate comments and the streamer should have their channel suspended or banned if they consistently let this behavior manifest in their streams. It can be a pretty toxic culture not to mention is not good for mental health among other reasons.

Honestly, Twitch has become exhausting. It feels like there's one set of rules for everyone else and another for streamers who push the boundaries. Why can some stream half-naked without issue while regular creators get banned for random phrases? It seems like they’re more interested in punishing small streamers rather than supporting growth. Many are tired of this unfairness and are leaving because of the inconsistent moderation and biased agenda.

Why bother with tickets if they don't answer and are unable ti fix a small issue.
i can't connect to a new device and sent a ticket twice and no answer, users are treated as they don't exist
