Visited the Holt cafe for tea and cake. Rude unfriendly staff. Queue jumping by another customer tolerated then the lady on the till did her best to ignore me when I politely tried to place my order. That sort of thing doesn’t sit well with me.
I am local to Blakenay north Norfolk. Not a good experience.
I am local to Blakenay north Norfolk. We popped in for afternoon coffee at 3 30. Cafe closing at 5. Most tables and chairs were stacked up. We sat and waited. Girls chatting in the shop. I asked very politely do we sit and waited or come up. No just sit was her response. Whilst we sat we realised the music was so loud and awful. We sat ten minutes. Got up. They smiled. We left. No apology or we are just coming. I will take my friends to Stiffkey now. I thought the service was awful and the floors were dirty. My dogs had a field day eating off the floor

Visited the Darsham Café to order a special cake (Internet order usually required)
Café very busy but their representative Shelby stopped what she was doing in the kitchen to take my order in person and arrange a special local collection.
Time for personal service at a very busy moment.
Happy coeliac 😊
Today I went into the Woodbridge shop & came away happy. I am a coeliac & there on tte gluten free shelf in tte fridge is my favourite chocolate log cake. I had to have a slice. Please please bring back the small individual versions as they are amazing & easier than a slice. The other cake I love is the tiramisu. It’s good to feel catered for as a coeliac 🙏🏼
Non understanding of severe allergies
Ordered a gluten free meal, was given one that was not gluten free. I started to eat it, and realised. Spoke to the Waiter, who couldn't care less. I am a Coeliac, and had a severe reaction. I was ill all the next day.

In comparison to the Old School in Beccles the two magpies doesn’t match in customer service, it’s overpriced and quality.
Amazing
Amazing food, cakes & coffe and lovely friendly girls , I will most definitely be back!
Delicious Baked Goods
Ordered some desserts for a staff event, very tasty and doesn't disappoint, recommend the dessert board.
Collected from Beccles in the morning, they helped me load it into the car, well packed.
Have been to a few and the food is nearly always lovely - thank you.
Fantastic food and super staff
The food is so great! It’s fresh and interesting and extremely well made. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us something to eat even though they had stopped serving! We have visited a few times now but will definitely be visiting more! Thanks for a great experience 😁
Two for sorrow...
We were visiting Beccles on Saturday 11th May and noticed the Two Magpies Bakery and decided to purchase two of their Sausage Rolls. £8.70 later and a little surprised at how much, we took our purchase to the nearby quay to enjoy them. For that sort of money you would expect that they would be pretty good, even premium but no, how disappointed we were. The pastry was undercooked and raw in places wrapped around a solid, unyielding tube of meat or, as advertised, a sausage. So disappointed, not only at the quality but how this bakery, purporting to be artisan, could sell such poor quality product and at such an excessive price. We will never purchase from this outlet or any of it's outlets again. We appreciate quality costs but certainly not in this case.
unclean toilets and awful customer service
I went into the shop yesterday and was told to sit down wherever I wanted. i then waited 20 minutes before a waitress came to take my order. we received our order about 15 mins later but they had brought 2 of everything. we then were trying to call a member of staff to get us a bottle of tap water but the waitress kept walking past us and ignoring us even though we were clearly asking for them. when the waitress did finally come over she got us a bottle of tap water but the glass was unclean and appeared to have soured milk around the rim of the jug. we then went to the shared toilets before we left and quite frankly they were disgusting.

Nicole and Josh plus the wonderful waitresses made our first visit to the Woodbridge bakery a pleasure.
Food was excellent as ever
Great food, exceptional staff
I have had to pleasureto visit the Two Magpies Bakery at Wells-Next-The-Sea three times this year. Each time the food was amazing and very tempting, great coffee. Each time the staff were friendly polite and great service. However, on my last visit they was truly amazing, I had an incident with my car, and the kindness they showed me went way above their duty. I am extremely grateful, and truly amazed at their kindness. I can't thank them enough. I definitely recommend the bakery- food, coffee and staff brilliant
AMAZING!
Been to multiple locations over the years. Always a lovely experience, best fryup ever and amazing baked goods! I wish there was one near where I live!
Bad bad bad service
Bad bad bad service
Went in yesterday
Front of house lady weird - pointed to a table for us to go sit at. Then she ignored us for half hour and didn’t take order we had to ask her if she is willing to take order. We asked what cakes were there and she said she didn’t know.
Pathetic rude appalling. We got up and walked out. I refuse to spend hard earned cash in places like this.
Why are the staff so rude !
Plenty of good places
H and J v pleasant staff.
Won’t be visiting this place again and would advise you to avoid if you expect good old pleasant service and some good manners because it’s non existent here.
What a shame - I visited because they were once mentioned in Sunday times. Few people on the high st have mentioned the bad service to me since.

Southwold cafe
Lovely food and great service from Anna and Laura. Great bakery and cafe!
Inconsiderate towards people with actual gluten intolerance/allergy
Gluten free items are right next to items full of gluten. Absolutely no actual options for genuinely gluten free people.
Disrespectful staff
We have been frequent customers of yours for several years. We live in Ipswich and have always driven to Aldeburgh to enjoy your lovely food and drink.
We were delighted when we heard that you were opening a branch in Woodbridge and today was the first time we came to see you.
We were extremely disappointed and shocked to see your staff members ridiculing and laughing at an elderly member of the public after he struggled to hear the waiters response to his request for an item from the shelf.
This was unpleasant to witness and not the behaviour we would expect.
Unbelievable bakery
Unbelievable bakery, selling a vast range of products.
We visited the branch in Aldeburgh and purchased 2 of their super delicious sausage rolls. Honestly, we both agreed, that there were the tastiest sausage rolls we had ever tasted.
The next morning we returned early (8.15am) and purchased 4 x sausage rolls and 2 x Pain au Chocolat. Again, we were completely blown away by the Pain au Chocolat, thick dark chocolate inside a melt in the mouth croissant, heaven!
