Typing Club... whelp I had to live through this experience and it was awful. The lessons are very boring, and you just type random keys which I feel doesn't help people type. In addition schools that... See more

Vampire Subscription Draining Bank Account

I am very frustrated with TypingClub. They have been withdrawing funds annually from my bank account for five years and I don’t remember signing up. My son received a welcome email and his account but I cannot login to cancel the subscription. I have emailed support and not heard anything back in at least a week.

Get Bombarded by popups to pay for premium every time you finish an event.

Would be alright if they were willing to just accept my free account and get money via ads. Still a glitchy website.

EVERY TIME I COMPLETE ONE TYPING EVENT IT PROMPTS ME TO PAY FOR A PREMIUM ACCOUNT MAKING ME LOSE MOMENTUM TAKE MY HAND OFF THE KEYBOARD TO CLICK OFF AND ANNOY ME. I CLICK FREE ACCOUNT BUT IT DOESNT CARE IT WILL GO TO THE NEXT TYPING EVENT THEN ASK IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS FOR ME TO PAY FOR PREMIUM.

And there is nowhere to give feedback on the site so, honestly don't waste your time unless you want to pay for a glitchy broken mess of a website.

This website literally makes my kid…

This website literally makes my kid cry. You need to be able to go slowly in order to learn typing technique. But because there is so much focus on speed over technique, kids are forced to rush through, with the fastest technique they have which is often hunt and peck. Its extremely demotivating and a terrible way to learn.

Not what it used to be.

I've used TypingClub to improve my typing skills since 2014, back when I was still hunting and pecking.
The website has always had a few bugs. But the quality was, overall, great.
Gave you a nice breakdown of your progress and areas you needed to work on, had a good system of rewards and badges.
Lately though, I've noticed that it's impossible to earn certain badges, even once I've met the criteria repeatedly, I still don't get them.
What's more, every time I complete a lesson in "TypingBasics" it rewards me the same badge, a disruptive glitch.
It has many disruptive glitches, which makes me unwilling to pay for the premium account.
Without the premium account though, I have to watch ads. These ads will pop up in the corner of the screen during the lessons and distract me while I'm trying to focus.
As much as this website has helped me improve over the years, I can no longer recommend it today.

Do NOT provide credit card information

Do NOT provide credit card information. Like many others have already mentioned, I have no account with Typing Club, so no login information to access an account with them (have tried resetting password, but nothing comes through as I have no account). I do not remember ever subscribing, have not used this website in a long time, but have just seen they are charging my credit card!

disappointing

The site really sucks, the lessons are discordant... The goal of typing is to learn to write without looking at the keyboard, however in edu club it seems that the only goal is to write quickly, regardless of errors, also it is full of advertising and useless games that only make the writer anxious and which are anything but fun, the site is poor, disappointing, inconvenient and useless I would add, they pretend that typing is easy but it is not something that can be learned from from today to tomorrow, and not even writing quickly. Really disappointing, it's a shame that 0 stars can't be given

They say it's free

They say it's free, but after finishing the first lessons, you can only continue after paying money. It's ok if they demand money, but they say its completly free.

Wonderful

This was the way how I learned typing on a keyboard. It’s so easy and everyone understands the mechanics. The exercises are just beautiful!
