Extremely let down by Ubeequee
We recently spent 3 months in Europe. Before our trip, we bought 2 spare cat trackers in case our cats lost theirs. Both turned out to be faulty.
In addition, both the cats' existing trackers stopped working while we were away. There turned out to have been a payment issue, which we rectified, but the payment kept saying, 'processing', so we paid again as we thought the payment had not gone through. However, we were actually charged twice.
I had difficulty getting a response from Ubeequee, until I found Sam Mccarthy's direct email on Trustpilot. They managed to get our trackers working again and promised to refund the payment made in error, and to provide us with 2 replacement trackers upon our return to the UK.
That was in March. We returned to the UK at the start of May and informed them that we were back. Despite repeated attempts to get hold of anyone, including Sam, at Ubeequee, we have not yet received either our refund or replacement trackers. We have had a couple of replies promising the refund would be issued and the trackers sent, but neither has been forthcoming. Sam also promised to extend our subscription free of charge by way of an apology, but this has not happened. We have had no contact, despite further repeated emails for the last few weeks.
It appears that we will not be receiving either our refund, replacement trackers, or subscription extension. We are left wondering what has happened at Ubeequee, and whether they are actually still trading. Their customer service used to be excellent but now is virtually nonexistent.
Considering you have to contact them to get them to switch cat trackers over should you lose one, the lack of response means that we will be forced to move to a competitor, which is a real shame as we have been using their trackers for 2 years and have recommended them to many people, both in person and via our social media blogs.
Very disappointing.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money, the tracker was rubbish. Map not great and kept tracking g to wrong locations, sent back and asked for refund. Still waiting. Unprofessional company!

Great product, poor customer service
Great product. I highly recommend this tracker, however poor customer service. So many times I had issues with being overcharged each month or problems with cancellation. You better check every month if you haven’t been overcharged.
Device faulty, no customer support, still waiting on refund. Avoid.
Device worked until it needed charging, then would not connect back to the app. Tried to contact customer support and heard nothing back. Contacted a week later to return the device and cancel the subscription. Despite being told the subscription was cancelled, I have been charged for another month and still waiting on a refund for the device.
Would avoid at all costs.
Edit: Sam did contact below and after finding the order, speedily sorted the refund and was very helpful.

Claim not to get returns and won’t refund you!!
Bought a cat tracker which I returned (unused) within 28 days. They claimed never to have received it but said they would refund me: weeks later and still nothing!!!

scam of a company
scam of a company who dont seem to care about business law. told them the device didnt work kept say my cat was in CHINA!!. they didnt cancel when i asked, then again this year they charged me 60 again with no pre email to tell me, they said it was renewal of contract even when i canceled within the 14 days, as this would have been a new contract. i asked for a complaint ref number, they just stopped emailing back. i work in customer care myself and have to say the this company handles things completely wrong. im suprised they don't have multiple fines.
update sam as i showed you in the email i was charged 59.88 so yes not 60. also once again you are playing thick saying i dont know what you are saying. so i will make it simple i canceled in 14 days of new contract, by law i will get my money back. if u cant understand that your in the wrong job. also you were quick enough to write back to this but iv sent 3 emails in the last 3 day to you looking for a complaint ref and you have not written back to them.
update sam iv already been emailing you! and you stopped emailing back. this is was a renewal. by law you need to send out a reminder for this, even when a subscription is renewed there is a 14 days cool off peroid. please refund or send me my complaint ref number.

the one thing you did get right was the cost you took E59.88 on the 14 of june.
you ask what seem to be the prob iv told 5 times now you took money after the fact last i told you it didnt work. then you auto renewal the contract this yr i email you before my 14 day cool off peroid which applys to any new contract renewal or not and you still have not reimbursed me the money. at this point im not sure if you guys are playing dumb or just dont know the law??? but you are make sure everyone who comes to tristpoliet to see what your company is like can see how bad of a company you are. i worl in customer care myself and no way would we let this go on in our company.

Great cat GPS
Great cat GPS, would highly recommend the one that can play the tune as this is essential if your cat comes back without the device as will ade in finding in bushes hedges etc can also be used to remind Charlie it is dinner time and get him back in! Wouldn't be without it now. Customer service is very helpful when required
Fantastic Watch/Tracker All round
This tracker watch has been an extremely good tool. Especially when being somewhere that’s not familiar. Would recommend others to try it as very good.

I bought the "Ubeequee" tracker because my wife, who has Alzheimers Disease has started to wander off and has got lost on a few occasions.
It is very accurate in terms of being able to show locations within a few metres.
The monthly fee is very reasonable and the company is great to deal with.
Easy to set up and use
Easy to set up and use. My only problem is that I've only taken a data sim and really should have had voice as well. Not sure how to rectify this. I'm using the watch to track someone with dementia.

I have a cat who up until recently has only left the house for a couple of hours at a time, he now can be out for more than 24 hrs and I *thought* having a GPS tracker on his collar would alleviate some worry.
I really wish I'd never come across this company as their product has worked for only a handful of hours in the last 2 weeks.
The GPS tracker, despite using a connection via satellite, can never connect to the internet to update the app. When it did update, it was hours later which was useless. The battery life is inconsistent and needed charging daily despite what the instructions say on their website.
I got in touch with customer services to run through some troubleshooting within the first 48hrs of receiving the tracker. they initially responded within hours but after sending me a couple of generic links and 'resetting' my sim card remotely the thing doesn't work at all. I have tried to contact customer services since then and have received no response....funny that.
I've cancelled my subscription already and gone with a competitor whose tracker is only 2g heavier whose name sounds similar to the word attractive.
EDIT: In response to the below reply: Nowhere on the UBEEQUEE FAQs or contact pages does it mention that cancelling a subscription needs to be done via conversation - all cancellation requests are directed toward email, which I have already done and have yet to receive a response (this method is annoying anyway considering there isn't an option to just cancel on your website!). I don't appreciate being made to be the villain in this scenario.

As a cat owner, what I want is peace of mind. This system is so unreliable that peace of mind is impossible. I feel like throwing a party on the occasions when it does connect to the internet.
My cat stayed out late, and I got worried, but he was wearing his (perfectly well charged) tracker, so everything should be OK. No, it wouldn't connect.
My cat returned on his own initiative.
I have invested many months worth of subscriptions, and I cannot be accused of not giving the product a fair trial.
It has NEVER done its job - not once. It has failed me on every single occasion, and there have been several, not just this one.
Among the usual stock answers from their support was the 'turn tracker off and on' suggestion. How, prey, do I do that when I don't know where it is, along with my beloved cat?
They always kindly reset my SIM when this happens, but do they really think that is an acceptable system-
ME: Help, my cat is lost, I am sick with worry!
UBEEQUEE: Thank you for your query. We hope to respond within......
Their suggestions are so ridiculous and impractical, they are almost insulting.
And, Ubeequee, please do not respond with your stock list of steps to take. I have practically memorised them. That is not a viable solution. The only viable solution is to start selling trackers that work.
I am shopping around for something that works, after which I will cancel my subs and throw the Ubeequee in the bin.
One of the main irritations about Ubeequee is that they seem to lack the imagination to understand the silliness of what they say, and the reason why pet owners actually buy trackers - again, peace of mind.
Well, that and their practice of trying to suggest that we have done something wrong - the classic tactic of the barrow boy.
I am something of a gadget freak, and nothing I have ever purchased has disappointed me so much.

So far so good
Helps to keep an eye on my two cats. Easy set up. Its good you can have two trackers on the same account. Bit puzzled on adding multiple users to the tracker but after a couple of emails all was OK. Chosen on recommendation of a neighbour and so far so good. History doesn't always work.

Leaving 1 star is extremely generous. Tracker did not work so I returned for a refund which, in accordance with their terms and conditions, a customer is suppose to get back within 14 days. A month later, I'm still WAITING!! Daily emails chasing for a refund, that had left me with such financial hardship and causing me stress from having to chase constantly. They are quick to take your money but then dont want to refund you. The company is very inconsiderate and i will be seeking legal action. Use at your peril.

Good tracking device for my cat
I bought this tracker after buying a cheaper one that was rubbish .
My cat is precious to me and it's a weight off my mind to be able to locate her position relatively quick, device works better in the open, but my cat likes to go under people's lodges and the signal sometimes cuts out because of this, but that is not really the trackers fault, the device was really already set up for use so that in its self was very handy

I recently purchased your pet tracker…
I recently purchased your pet tracker and unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing.
Although the delivery was timely and I was able to register the device through the iOS app, the accuracy of the tracker was poor.
When I attached the tracker to my cat’s collar and left him to roam around, it indicated that my cat was over a mile away, and at someone’s house when my cat was actually right in front of me.
After removing the tracker and charging it, it reverted back locate it at my house.
However, upon reattaching the device to my cat’s collar, the app was unable to locate it, despite indicating that it was registered correctly.
As a result, I am unable to rely on this tracker to keep my pet safe and would not recommend it to other pet owners. Unfortunately, I have to give this product a 1-star review.

Edit: I have sent 6 emails, none of which got a reply but this got a reply in a matter of minutes.
I have been trying to cancel my subscription for days as the device hasn’t worked for almost a week. Which I reported and I just got one reply on Friday saying it would be fixed that day. Very poor communication.
In response to your reply I have not had a reply to cancel the subscription and the problem was not resolved on Friday!
