Great Company, easy to deal with, better product than my previous log supplier.

The delivery was nice and early so gave us time to shift the logs to storage.
They were all pretty dry and the only mould I spotted was on the outer section of the crate they were packed in.
Driver was helpful in placing logs in good position.

Excellent service from start to finish, quality logs supplied in large crate. Third time we have had logs supplied by UK logs direct , based on this service would not look elsewhere .

excellent offer -'second' oak logs -in fact absolutely brilliant and the little bit of mould (reason for being seconds) hardly visible and will dry off during storage for winter.
arrived very promptly and well packed -the crate is being used by a neighbour as a log store !

Full 1.6 m3 in crate as stated unlike some suppliers that over state the stacked size of the logs in there crates.

The only reason I gave 3stars instead of 5 was because the logs were due to be delivered on a Monday when I got a text Saturday morning stating they will be delivered today 2 days early, I didn’t want to leave them sitting on the driveway so cancelled what we had planned and waited for the delivery that never came, called them late Saturday afternoon to be told they knew nothing about them being delivered today and the delivery company is now closed and I will have to contact them Monday morning to find out what happened, come Monday I was told it was apparently a computer error and they will be delivered that day but none the less a Saturday wasted, other than that I got the beach logs and they are great quality and throw out heat better than any logs I have used in the past and I’ll probably use logs direct again with hopefully a better logistic outcome

The heat logs I ordered are good, otherwise this would have been a one star review...

First they told me a pallet delivery company would deliver my order, then DPD told me they had got it, then they (DPD) accepted redirection to a pick-up locker, then they told me it was at the locker, then they told me it wasn't at the locker but would be delivered to my home address, then half of the order arrived and there was no sign of the rest and no notification as to when I would receive it!

After complaining by email to UK Logs Direct I was called by 'Emma', who said the missing parcel was being returned to them by DPD and she would send another one out that day. Throughout the conversation there was not one single apology from Emma, despite the chaos and frustration they had caused (THEY chose to use DPD, so failures by the courier are their responsibility), and certainly no gesture of recompense.

When a business messes up, it presents a golden opportunity for them to make a really positive impression when putting it right. It is often in these situations that a company shows their true levels of customer care - unfortunately UK Logs Direct came up short. There was absolutely nothing forthcoming, not even an apology. Considering I was a potential long term customer and this was my first order (which I had made clear to them), you would have thought they would have tried a bit harder. Maybe they don't care as they have more than enough business - that's certainly the impression Emma has left me with.

This is my third year buying from UK logs direct and can say, I am always satisfied with the product and the price.
