Good service, very professional.

Ordered a very fragile original part for a Smeg oven. Good communication verifying that it was the correct part for the correct model. Part was very well packaged to ensure no damage during transit. Happy customer.

BAD advice, BAD service

Despite following their website and “expert” advise via email, the drawer I was sent for my freezer didn’t fit. I had to pay £12 for the return. The customer service associate (Kenneth) then got touchy with me when I expressed my displeasure in my ordering experience.

We've no clue who you are but, if it was our mistake we'd pay for the return no problem.

If it was not our error, we would not.

Quite an expensive commercial fridge…

Quite an expensive commercial fridge seal replacement kit. No glue for welding the corners. A cheap seal with little plush expansion to accommodate door fitting. Even if the doors fitted perfectly the seal would not be 100%. Definitely not worth buying despite the high cost of original equipment.

Take your money then don't deliver or…

To add to this, the person dealing with this has sent me multiple, ill-advised, borderline abusive messages about my complaint but still managed not to deal with the actual issue. Strange how an ill person can find the time to email abuse but not to run their company - these are the facts, read them as you will. They've blamed coronavirus when the reviews on here clearly pre-date this awful situation.

Take your money then don't deliver or communicate. The money was taken straight away for a glass door stating 1-3 days on the website. Confirmation email states 3-10 days but door hasn't arrived and no communication. During Coronavirus, rather than redirect their phones, they've taken the excuse to put a voicemail asking to email, which they then don't answer. Will be reporting the company as fraudulent and suggest anyone else, if you've had the misfortune to order with them and the order hasn't arrived, don't delay and report the company as fraudulent to your bank.

Cooker glass

Cooker glass

Sells cooker glass that must be below standard as mine lasted 1 week before shattering.
They will not replace the glass under any form of guarantee.
Buy glass from the manufacturer of the appliance or you may regret buying from this mob.
New glass coming Monday direct from Britannia 16/12/19 so we will see.
Britannia say they WILL guarantee the glass

The new glass arrived from Britannia I fitted it myself as I am a domestic appliance engineer (although now retired), it was the same price as the glass from UK Whitegoods but is still intact and working perfectly.
So the glass from UK White goods must therefore have been faulty.
Poor customer backup from this lot.

Avoid.

Oven door replacement

Order a replacement of an oven door (SMEG). The advertised time for delivery was 6-20 days. Obviously the money for the product was taken right a way from my account but 70 days later the product still has not arrived. I email in several occasion and received the same "it is coming in 2 more weeks" standard answer.

After this period WhiteGoods proposes for me to wait more or cancel the order. What I find unacceptable is that they might get out of it that easily. At work if I do not deliver on time I face consequences. The fact that they attract customer with false delivery promises is tome, to a certain extend, almost a fraud.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! NO ENGINEER VISIT!!!

After numerous cancellations, “system errors” and failed engineer visits from UK White Goods, I have no other options to repair my friends oven.

We have arranged an engineer visit three times now and they don’t turn up! And we don’t receive the the texts they offer and every time we call there’s an issue with there system.

My friend is hard of hearing, they have made it very difficult for him.

It is the worst customer service I have experienced!!!!

Hi Bethany,

Given that we only sell spare parts and do not carry out any form of field service for anyone at all we can only assume that you have revied the wrong company.

Payed for item that they couldn't…

Payed for item that they couldn't supply as the advert did not state the part was obsolete
now more than a week later my family are still without a fridge freezer! shame UKWHITEGOODS don't see the need to keep site up to date.

the Business OWNER is just an arrogant…

the Business OWNER is just an arrogant and RUDE man,
I ordered a 7" cooker ring element, This arrived, and did not fit my cooker, Due to a manufacturing flaw, in the design, ring was touching the metal hob top,
I contacted the company (owner ), asking for a refund, due to the issue, he said no, due to the product, had to be in its own packaging, so he could resell it !!!
I sent him pictures, of the original and replacement elements, showing the flaw issue,
He just replied, that this was not possible, as his product was an EXACT COPY of the original, and stated that I should get a professional fitter, to install correctly,
THIS part only FITS, ONE WAY, and I am qualified to install,
He stated I could bend the element gently, (being careful not to break element), to the required shape, IF THAT IS NOT SAYING, the product IS FAULTY, what is,
always an excuse, for not returning cost of item, all of £7.98,
This is about PRINCIPLE and not the cost of item,
If you sell a FLAWED item, stating it will fit my cooker, and the customer, spots the problem, do not tell them, they are wrong,
especially, when they send you pictures, and have an engineering background,
I have now read KENS reply: and I am correct, HE just does not, see his FAULTS, The product is WRONG, or it would fit my cooker, not Rocket science, to work out

They are all the same, despite you saying otherwise. Any appliance repairer could do that, no problem at all.

And yes, like most all retailers unless an item is returned in the condition it was supplied in then it cannot be returned.

We cannot indemnify people from an inability to repair whatever it is that they are attempting to do and it's completely unreasonable to expect us to do so.

"Not possible to return"

I had ordered a part that was not required. It took over a week to come to me with no updates on ETA. I had to cancel my electrician and when he did come, the part was not required as the whole extractor was beyond repair. UK Whitegoods will not let me return the part and I have wasted £80. No help give at all to remedy, just "I told you so" attitude. Very disappointed indeed.

Hi Daniel,

What you fail to inform readers of is that this was a specially ordered item for you that we would advise you not book repairers for until you have the part as, well it's specially ordered and therefore delivery dates can vary as shown.

And, that it's more than two weeks since that part was delivered that you've asked to send it back.

Added to which it is very clear that, if more parts were required and the unit beyond repair as you say that the initial diagnosis was incorrect and that you should take that matter up with your electrician and not us.

None of which is our fault or our problem.

We completely understand you might be annoyed but we'd suggest you are perhaps venting your anger in the wrong direction.

A+++

On this occasion I didn't purchase anything, however, I did ask for advice regarding a 25 year old Bosch washing machine which had a few issues..
Kenneth was more than happy to assist and gave me lots of information even though he knew that I wouldn't be buying anything.
I've purchased from this company before and find them friendly and very helpful.
Above machine had a fried PC board which wasn't allowing the thermostat to operate correctly, it wasn't cost effective to repair so it was off to the tip for that item. Bet they don't make them to last that long today.
I digress- top company-top people-highly recommended.

You could have mentioned that you ordered a part on spec with no idea what model it was for and we were unable to help you, nor would anyone else be able to assist with you not knowing what you wanted a part for.

How spare parts should be done - outstanding

I’ve used these guys four or five times now and every time their service is fantastic - even when I’ve ordered the wrong part, they couldn’t have been more helpful- thoroughly recommend - how the complex world of spare parts should be handled. Well done all and thank you

Would use again.

So far, so good. I emailed my enquiry, Kenneth responded within five minutes with the details of the part I needed to order. This was first class service. Fingers crossed my parts arrive, there are no problems and I need to re visit my review.
My order arrived within the time frame and was exactly what I ordered. Yes I would use UK Whitegoods again.

I would not recommend using them

I would not recommend using them. They use inferior parts that break with in a year and then you have a big argument with them with their arrogant attitude.
I have lived in many countries, but have never experienced such bad customer service as uk Whitegoods.
I will never use them again

Frustratingly Hopeless.

I ordered a part after being advised that this was the correct one - didn't work, and returned at my own expense. After further communication I was told I needed to order a different part the number of which was the part I had already ordered (expected me to pay again!). I queried this and asked for a copy of my order and invoice to prove that I had ordered the correct part but nothing was forthcoming. At the end of the day I ordered and paid for a part that I was told was correct, returned it at my own expense and am now out of pocket for the part and postage having given up with them.
