Never got the dummy I paid for.

I complained numerous times, the seller refused to deliver.

The seller then went on my business page and gave me a negative review! I'm seeking legal action.

Steve - delete the fake review that you’ve posted under the username “Peter G.”

I experienced most of the issues mentioned in the other reviews here.

I placed my order for a wooden dummy on 23/10/2024, paid in full, and finally received it on 12/05/2026. The original estimated delivery time was 12–16 weeks, excluding the holiday period.

After some time, the company went completely silent due to relocating their premises. I only heard back from them on 11/02/2026, when I was basically told:

“Your wooden dummy was sat on my floor for quite a while waiting for the shipment fee.”

In the meantime, I had sent numerous emails, which they claimed never reached their inbox due to IT issues.

I would suggest that the company proactively contact customers if their orders are delayed or left waiting for an unusual amount of time.

In summary: poor customer service and a high likelihood that delivery deadlines will not be respected.

That said, once assembled, the dummy itself turned out to be of good quality. For now.

Nothing personal against the company only hoping that this comment will relieve some other martial artists in the same situation.

I was told before ordering in March it would be 12-16 weeks. By August I had no dummy. I emailed and was told it was nearly finished and would arrange shipping by the end of the month.
No contact came. No dummy. I emailed in October and got a vague auto-reply saying "We are currently out of the workshop due to sudden unforeseen circumstances, we will get back to all customers/enquiries as soon as possible when we return."

There was no professional email reaching out with specific time frame. I only got this after I reached out. Further enquiries over the coming three months were met with silence.
I now have my credit card company involved.

Ordered in February of 2025 with a delivery date of June/July. I emailed again in August and was told it was being shipped in September. I emailed in November requesting a refund or the product within 14 days. No response. Court proceedings through small claims commencing.

DO NOT ORDER!!! This company is a scam. My partner placed an order in the summer and has still not recieved it. He wasnt even sent an invoice the numbers dont even connect when he tried to call them. Avoid!!

Scam. Stay away. The man has vanished after receiving payment. Now issued legal proceedings

Pretty sure this is a scam. I ordered over 1 year ago, received an acknowledgement of order but no further correspondence. I waited the estimated 250 working days which ended in the middle of March 2025 emailed a further two times and still no response. Tried to call both numbers on the website and neither connect. I am now going to have to try to get my money back via pay pal.

Reached out to the vendor to ask him to make me a prototype dummy. Price agreed at £599. Shortly after I received an e-mail saying the price would be £734.
Delivery date agreed for start of March.
I've paid this man £600 but he has disappeared. He's not contactable by phone or e-mail.
He's sent me a couple of stalling "out of office e-mails,"
I am out of pocket by £600 with no news whatsoever regarding the product I ordered.
I am seeking legal recourse to recoup my money.
Does anyone have an address of this business?
He claims to be a UK registered business but isn't registered at Companies House.

Waited & waited but it’s finally here. My wing chun dummy looks amazing quality build, I don’t know whether to train with it or put it in the front room to admire. Steve always kept in touch to keep my dream alive. Took a lot longer than I thought it would to arrive but believe me the wait is worth it. Fantastic bit of kit.

Ultimate Wooden Dummies, few problems getting my wooden dummy that was down to the courier losing my order, also it had sustained some damage, ultimate wooden dummies offered to rectify this. A realy well made and finished item , it's good to use, and I'm very pleased with ultimate wooden dummies.

Very poor communication paid for in full in September 2015 received the damaged dummy in Jun 2016. Steve was rude and clearly didn't make the dummy to order I am 6ft 2 and that was specified after checking with my sifu it was made for 5ft 7 tall. Steer clear of this company.

Robust quality dummy with excellent aftercare provided by Steve. Will definitely recommend and be ordering again

Ordered a lean and mean wing chun wooden Dummy November 23. I had read reviews before about slow speed so I did expect it but the dummy was the right product at the right price.

First communications stated a 6-8 week delivery time so I just sat tight at first, by the end of January I started chasing and the first anticipated delivery date was February. That came and went and I'd chase it up perhaps monthly always to receive a reason (excuse) for the delay and then a new date.

Eventually at the start of April I had an email saying the dummy was ready and asking an extra £30 for shipping. Bit annoyed that wasn't upfront and included or declared but anyway I paid it as I'd waited so long.

More waiting and chasing then eventually on the 24th May I was sent a DHL tracking link and told it was a 2-5 day delivery. I checked the tracking regularly but it never updated as the item collected. Repeated emails with Steve who seemed very reluctant to answer direct questions or chase DHL. In exasperation I emailed DHL myself and after a few days they confirmed it had never been collected and wasn't in their network.

Then finally on the 13th June I got a text from DHL with a totally new tracking number saying it was coming tomorrow which thankfully did happen.

The Jong itself is a great piece of kit, good quality and nice to use. Unfortunately my experiences of dealing with Steve really soured the whole experience.

I've since seen several reviews with the same DHL issue, not picked up then miraculously appearing on a different tracking number. I have absolutely no idea what's going on there but it seems really strange.

If you're thinking of ordering then you will get a good bit of kit in the end, but be ready for a long wait and let of frustration.

I paid for my dummy and waited... waited again...and waited more...
after a year i have been given a DHL delivery reference... DHL has not collected the dummy... there has never been a dummy...

this is a scam... dont purchase, you will lose your money

All good things come to those that can wait, from my date of order (21July) to assemble (21 December) it has been worth it. My training dummy will last a dozen life times. Be patient and the reward is well worth it, should be easy for any martial artist

I purchased mine from a military guy that lived in the suburbs of chicago. I drove an hour to get it and put it in my car. It was a solid wood piece cherry red color and very sturdy. I don’t regret purchasing it and I will keep it the rest of my life..

Very poor communication, had to constantly chase for updates, excuses for delivery delays and then dummy never arrived - Updated 12/06/23 - Dummy has arrived now and is a quality piece of wood working, well finished and with nice roping on it.

There were a few minor problems with my order, namely communication concerns which I found out later were due to sickness and issues with the couriers for collection. The end product, however, was worth the wait and I'm now the proud owner of an exceptionally crafted dummy with a fine finish to boot. The dummy was also well packaged and protected during delivery. The 12 month warranty is also good for peace of mind although, assessing the quality, I don't anticipate I'll need to use it.

Ordered my wing chun wooden dummy from this vendor and collected it roughly a month ago.

It's an absolutely gorgeous looking thing in my living room and am extremely happy practicing my wing chun on this. It's clearly been crafted with a lot of care and the pictures that you see on the website don't do justice to what you see when it's finally in front of you.

Two main reasons as to why I went with this small company:
- I needed something that looked good in the living room as my family had recently done the apartment up and refused to let me put anything in there that didn't look presentable
- I also had to be able to come and collect the dummy. As I live in a flat I did not wish to deal with the logistics in dealing with a crate.

When I spoke with the seller via the phone he was friendly and was very flexible in terms of payment plans as well as my request for personal collection.

When I arrived to collect he offered me and my friend tea and we had a lovely chat to boot before we went on our merry way.

Only reason why I haven't given a full 5 star review is because of some delays to the expected ready date, however when he explained the situation I found it to be perfectly reasonable.

Admittedly investing a large sum of money for a product to a company that had little to no reliable reviews made the wait an anxious one; hence why I'm posting this review here as hopefully this review will give some reassurance to any future buyers that this is indeed a legitimate and trustworthy business.

Again, very pleased with the product and I can't stress enough how good it looks. I almost feel bad for practicing on it.
