Damaged poor quality goods and rude customer service

Do not buy from this company and be aware that Victoria Plumbing use them! Following an order of a toilet placed, I was concerned that a month later it had not turned up! I phoned them and they tracked the order.. The delivery company had damaged the goods and noted on the system that the order was on its way? Only later to admit that they had damaged it? They reissued the order for next day .. Which did not arrive on the day off that I had taken as I was told a signature was required! I came home from work the following day to find it 'thrown' in my porch area broken! Called the company and they were so rude and said they couldn't do anything to help no apology whatso ever! Victoria plumbing then arranged a refund but the other company won't collect the damaged toilet! All in all this has been a total mess and a field of incompetence! Stay away from this company. The products are such poor quality it's shocking!!

Poor products, shockingly bad customer service

I bought a £250 shower valve from this company 18 months ago. Within six months, the cartridge had failed. Our plumber contacted them for a replacement under warranty. It took half an hour just to get the phone answered. We were told we had to conduct various test and report back, the outcome of which was that they refused to honour the warranty because the shower had been 'misused'. As we'd done no more than turn it on and off, this seemed outrageous. With the replacement cartridge costing more than half the original unit, I was tempted to replace the whole thing, but in the end I didn't and paid up. Big mistake. Now it's failed again. I approached the supplier, but they now refuse to deal with Ultra. I tried ringing Ultra's 'Customer Care Line' directly and quickly found out why. I sat listening to a slightly faulty recorded message bragging about the quality of their products for twenty minutes before simply being cut off. That happened three times. So: I've decided I have no choice but to spend about £450 to take the thing out and chuck it away, hacking out the wall, replacing tiles, and buying a new valve, this time from a reputable manufacturer. If you're lucky enough to come to Trust Pilot before buying, I would urge you to avoid this company and any of its products at all costs.

Edit: I've tried calling their Sales and main line, and get a continuous tone. Have they gone bust? Wouldn't surprise me.

Very Poor Customer Service and Warranty Issues

As a purchaser of many Ultra Finishing products following a house renovation a few years ago I have had problems with nearly all (7 taps) of the products with chrome flaking off and waste units breaking etc.
I made claim under their 10 year warranty and these claims were agreed by Ultra Finishing after much discussion and photos etc
Since then it has taken me 7 months to get to the point where they have replaced the damaged items, yes, 7 months! and we are still not fully resolved
This has included:
- We have sent them when had not
- We do not have them in stock at present – when still selling
- Sending the wrong products multiple times
- We do not manufacture them any longer so you will have to choose something else.
- The person leaving their business and having to start over again
Due to these problems they agreed, in writing, to pay for plumbing costs to repair and now, despite me contacting their MD and Board of Directors have now refused to pay for the plumber. Upon asking to discuss they are now completely ignoring me.

I recommend strongly that you avoid purchasing any product from Ultra Finishing or one of their other brands Hudson Reed, Ultra, Premier, Balterly, Old London or Niko.
The quality is poor, you will likely have problems!, their customer service is very poor and they do not live up to their warranty promises

Products not as advertised

Dear everyone

I would like you all to be aware that Ultra Finishing, who own the following brands Hudson Reed, Premier and Ultra bathrooms are a complete nightmare.
There are numerous images of their sanitary ware on line, on both their own websites and their distributors websites that are totally misrepresented and misleading.

I have just spent the last 4 days trying to sort out why the sink and toilet set that I ordered are not as seen in the pictures, only to be told after numerous phone calls, that these products do not exist, tough!

So if you order any of these brands please make absolutely sure you know what you want in terms of design and get what you have paid for.
I ordered Hudson Reed, received Premier to be told they are the same product, although I think you'll find Hudson Reed is much more expensive?

I now have to return the items and wait for a refund, then order from a different manufacturer, waste of time and money.

Really poor customer service, really upset that a brand/company I had complete faith in has let me down.

Proceed with caution
