Went to visit my son in Harlow unfortunately I pulled up with a puncture. Phoned made appointment for same day. Fixed the puncture no problem. I was impressed that the car was taken and puncture repaired
No trying to sell me a new one.
A refreshing honest experience.

I have used this garage for years and today I got a puncture but needed to get to work. I went to Uncle Tom’s and explained my situation. Tony prioritised my need and puncture was fixed really quickly. Great service!

Had work done at uncle Toms HARLOW and after couldn’t find the locking wheel nut key went back and asked the tall skinny guy who did the work what he had done with it as it wasn’t in the glove box where he took it from and he said Derrr it’s here pointing to an AA bag in the boot, I could have adjusted his attitude for him at the time but decided that he was just one of life’s arsoles, then today my daughter called them saying her brakes were squealing was quoted £48 to grease them but was told it might not cure them, when she said oh ok I’m not sure what to do then the guy on the phone said hurry up and make your mind up I’m busy ! 😡 customer service is crap 💩 avoid them if you can

My car was booked in to have all 4 seals on my car resealed. I arrived 10 mins before appointment. A guy came out, greeted me, knew exactly what I was there fore, said he could take car in now. While the car was being sorted, a guy came out to let me know how long it would take. I feel it is rare that such good customer contact is given by a company. I was spoken to with respect, a woman in a mans world, with kindness and consideration for the length of time it would take. Knowing as soon as I arrived what I was there for and greeted! You could not ask for more.

Uncle Tom’s was recommended to me, glad I took up that recommendation, great service with knowledgeable staff. Felt like I was being treated like family.

Faultless service from start to finish. From the second I picked up the phone and made the enquiry to the second I drove the car away the same day all done and dusted. The guys at the garage were great, really friendly and knowledgeable. It was like they already knew me, I've struggled to find a decent garage local to me that charges fair prices and does a good job. I can now safely say Uncle Toms in Harlow ticks that box and I would thoroughly recommend them. Thanks again lads!

Had a problem with my brakes making a noise phoned them and a helpful chap said bring it down and we will check it free of charge. Turns out I needed the front brakes changing took about an hour and I was back on the road with no noise. Great bunch of Lads would highly recommend.

Friendly and engaging staff. Highly professional people who can be trusted to give you good advice and have your safety uppermost in their minds. They checked all my tyres, gave me options on how they could replace those which were borderline. They changed the tyres quickly and efficiently.

I always thought that garage's had cleaned themselves up and were a thing of the past well uncle Tom's in harlow have now become the lowest of the low they just scammed my daughter a cancer patient by charging to inflate car tyres with "premium air" this is rediculous and uncle Tom's should be ashamed of themselves

Excellent service. Been using Tony and his team for 8 years now for service and mot with all our cars. Highly recommend

Took my Honda jazz in because the brakes where making a unusual sound,they recommended I had approx £450 worth of work done which I went ahead because the fitter told me it was dangerous to drive and I also needed two rear types replaced,took car for a second opinion and was told that both rear tyres where fine and had a least 6 months more tread on them so be careful if you decide to use these thieves,they will upsell and try to rip you off.

Please do not waste your time, money or energy bringing your car here. We’ve taken our car to Uncle Tom’s mechanics, he told us what the issue was and ‘fixed’ (or just looked at) the car. We’ve now collected the car and paid him the £1,300. 5 minutes into my journey from collecting the car, I’m experiencing the same problem. I brought it back now and he’s now told me it’s another issue and that he can get it done. He’s now done extra works to the car, but unfortunately I’m still experiencing the same issue. So I kindly messaged Mr. Tony Hunter and he’s blocked me mid message. Now, I wasn’t rude to Mr. Tony and as a paying customer I should not have been treated like this.

Our problem was never resolved and resulted in Mr. Tony and his side kick Anthony being extremely obnoxious and ignorant.

Please, do not waste your time people. 🙏🏾 There are other mechanics that can help, mechanics that actually fix your problem and not there to just take your money.

If I found out it was Tony Hunter behind the HMRC text scams, I would believe it. God bless you all and do not come here.

I went to uncle tom's today in Harlow Essex and watched an employee treating a customer with violence and was swearing discusting swear words... I don't know the employee name but all I can tell you is he had a bald head and glasses... I have never heard so much vulgar language in my life this employer needs to sack this employee as it brings a bad name to uncle tom's

went to uncle toms to have 3 new tyres fitted, over £300. service was great! until my car was handed back and i noticed a large rip in my leather steering wheel. straight away i spoke to uncle toms who denied it had anything to do with them. i know for certain my steering wheel was not ripped before entering uncle toms. they were not understanding at all and told us ‘you can complain but there’s no point because we didn’t do it’ then laughed. disgusting customer service and i will never be returning.

The team at the Harlow location are absolutely brilliant with fantastic customer service. A problem developed with my car while I was at the depot having tyres fitted. They really went the extra mile to try to solve the issue including ringing Kia themselves, sourcing and fitting a new battery (and putting the old battery back when this wasn’t the issue) checking fuses, and even taking me home using one of the firms vans to get my spare key in case that was the issue. After 4 hours messing with the car, I rang the AA who couldn’t diagnose the problem either but did get me to the local Kia garage to get it sorted out. Despite the time they spent trying to sort out my car, Uncle Toms only charged me for the tyres! They even rang later that day to make sure I had got home ok! First class service!

Mot was decent enough but the bloody timescale was awful. My appointment was for 2.30 car didn’t get taken in till 3 then the mot itself took 2 hours. Got told it would be 5 minutes was another hour. Useless wouldn’t recommended or use again.

2nd time I use uncle toms like there honestly and not just to sell u any old parts that don’t give u the best results, time of doing the job is very quick and price wise is very good ordered some parts and have booked my 3rd visit there well done guys keep up the good work
