Uniflo macerator lasted just over a year, if you're going to buy one of these types of crud muncher. Get a saniflo, they cost more, but that's for a reason they're the best at what they do and they also back up their products with a 5 year warranty. Unlike uniflo who give a year and then don't reply to any customer support issues.

Seems that this company got things in order following the old negative reviews? I had nothing but good experiences with them. Got 2 macerators for a build we were doing and Adam was great and helpful. One of the macerators was actually not correct and was my mistake for ordering wrong one, Adam did a quick exchange and had the right one out to us in a few days

Terrible company, bad customer service. Item arrived to my elderly parents and realised it was the wrong item but they wouldn’t help them. They pointed out as long it was still in original condition they could return it, days of sending emails and not getting contact back,finally answered and said it’s against their policy to except returns. Didn’t even want a refund, just a different item. Will never use again.

Purchased a grey water pump in July 2022. The pump stopped working in June 2023 and after emailing Uniflo it was returned for repair under warranty. The pump was returned to us repaired. However, just over a month later the pump starts tripping the electricity resulting in a flood and a fried tv soundbar! Contacted Uniflo seeking a refund or new pump. Alas, no response!
It was purchased to replace a Saniflo, which lasted 12 years. Wish we’d spent a bit more money and bought another Saniflo rather than wasting £250, (plus return postage for the repair) on something that couldn’t even last a year.

Best company I’ve dealt with for a long time - all the staff I spoke too were extremely helpful & knowledgeable.
The delivery arrangement was spot on .
Nice to be able to order a product and not stress about delivery etc .

Macerator broke over the weekend, still under warranty. I phoned on Monday, advised to email in and someone would get back to me on Tuesday, nothing. Filled in online form Wednesday morning, heard nothing. Phoned on Thursday, person took my number assured me someone would be in touch, guess what, NOTHING. Have been nearly a week without use of a toilet and shower. Ability here to send Uniflo a copy of review, I don't expect anything to happen!

I recently purchased macerator toilet. As the house was a building site I did not open the item when arrived but left in a safe place still in all packaging as delivered. When item opened small crack found at base of bowl. My plumber suggested this was a stress fault. After contacting Uniflo I was advised that as I did not open item in 24 hours then they could do nothing but suggested purchase a new toilet. I emailed to say I was not suggesting this was a result of a transport but a manufacturing fault and hence covered by warranty. All responses to this are that they don't have manufacturing faults (EVER) and 24 hour rule applies: so can't ever suggest a fault after this period and no warranty (this about the porcelain, I can't comment re the mechanical elements).

Uniflo repeatedly state their 24 hour policy and even implied I might be at fault, apparently if I had not been honest and said it was OK when recd and fault now developed I would probably have been able to get a replacement but based on my dealings with them I doubt it.

In trying to resolve the issues I am now 6 weeks into ME contacting them ( only recd 2 poor emails from them stating 24 hour policy and suggesting I might be at fault). I have phoned numerous times and if I do manage to get through the response is we will be in touch soon. They have suggested recently a bowl only replacement so can exchange the macerator myself. 2 weeks on and I am still waiting for a price. Dont expect them to call you back!

Was absolutely desperate for a part for our macerator as we had been unable to use our only toilet, it was friday afternoon and we needed the part asap. The person who handled my call was so helpful and arranged special delivery and rang me later with the tracking number. The part arrived early saturday morning which meant my husband could repair the macerator. Would highly recommend this company and a special big thanks to the lady who answered the call and sorted it out for me, sorry i didnt get her name

Bought a membrane clip advertised as being compatible with a Saniflo top. It was impossible to fit as it is a different shape and is made of such hard plastic that it has no give. Tried using plumbers grips (this is a recommended “trick”) but the plastic was so brittle that it broke! Apparently this has never happened before. The customer service agent used COVID as a reason why the product which was bought as part of a kit could not be returned for a refund. Disappointed and an expensive mistake!

Really helpful at point of sale and talked me through how to plumb the replacement macerator. As I am a complete novice the service chap was patient and had the correct item and all fixing parts. Thanks to their help quick delivery, successfully installed and working. Thank you

Not a good experience with this company. After telling their customer support people of my problems, I was asked to provide videos and perform tasks to eliminate causes. I believed that their concern was for my benefit when in fact, they were only interested in covering themselves. After many phone calls, WhatsApp messages and videos, the final insult was to tell me that waste solids were coming back into the bowl because they were not going through the macerator. Exactly! I have zero trust in this company to send my almost new item back for repair / replacement. I would fully expect that no problem would be found and all costs would be covered by myself. I consider the warranty on this item not worth the paper it is written on.

A very poor experience after a promising start with extremely poor customer service after the purchase when things go wrong. In thier view the customer is always to blame. No regard or ability to respond to specific situations with any respect at whatever cost to the customer.

Extremely impressed with Uniflo. We called up on Thursday, after our well known brand of macerator failed to work, despite being new. Adam at Uniflo talked us through the different models and really knew what he was talking about. (We had called some of the other big companies, and they didn't really seem to care or know their own ranges that well.)
They arranged a very short-notice Saturday delivery for us (the courier was already there with them!), as it was Easter weekend and we needed it fairly urgently! (It arrived bang on time - so we were very pleased!)
And then when we had an after-sales question today, they were, once again, really knowledgeable and reassuring. Really great customer service, and so far, the product seems great too - quiet, simple to install, small in size. We highly recommend Uniflo.

I had problems with my macerator, so contacted Uniflo via the online contact form. Within less than an hour, the technical department responded with a solution. I had positive dialogue with the technician and followed his advice. It worked 100%. I am confident that any further problems would be sorted in this manner. Many firms would simply say “we can send an engineer to have a look “

Just like to say a big shout out for the very nice lady who helped me with an on going inferior product I’ve had several check valve output failures on brand new macerators all with the same fault (basically inferior quality & design) Between us this morning with more help from you we selected a uniflow product that with a little adaption has finally put this issue to bed. Even new valves from the other manufacturer were giving leak back and over running the macerator. This has worked perfectly

This small pump is perfect and very affordable. It is brilliant for the basement shower I had fitted and has made a huge difference to my life. The Unifow beats all the competitors everytime
