I ordered a Christmas gift via Tesco…
I ordered a Christmas gift via Tesco marketplace. It was "delivered" in a reasonable enough time by Evri but unfortunately they left the package outside my office address and it went missing. My office is on a busy High Street and even though the delivery was during office hours the courier made no attempt to come inside and instead thought that it was acceptable to leave it on the doorstep and take a photo of it!
Evri washed their hands of the situation advising me to contact the retailer and when I contacted Universal Textiles/Pertemba they simply hid behind Evri's photo evidence and advised that "regrettably, because the courier has provided proof of delivery, we are unable to offer further support with this issue. This is our final decision with this matter."
Truly ridiculous. I have bought something that I have not received and Universal Textiles will not take responsibility

Reason... We listed the wrong price. Fair enough. Did another search seen some on eBay. After ordering I noticed it was from UT at the same price.

Purchase and delivery was no problem…BUT
Purchase and delivery was no problem but the quality of the men’s long black socks was terrible. My husband has worn them since purchase and every pair tried will not stay up and they twist around the foot. The material is very poor quality.
I purchased the socks for my husband based on the reviews for the socks but they must all be telling porkies.
These are the worst set of socks ever purchased and will sadly be going in the bin!
They were cheap to buy and as the saying goes buy cheap get cheap 🤨

Ordered grey cushion, received brown....no use to me!
I ordered a grey cushion cover and received a brown version. I immediately responded by email and sent photo evidence. This is the response I received:
"As per your inquiry, I have reviewed the order details and see that you have placed an order(Furn Ezra Cushion Cover, Colour: Grey, Size: One Size).
I can see that the same item is delivered to you.
I have also attached images of the item as displayed in our system and the dispatch note for your reference." The photo they attached was a photo from their website, not a photo from the package about to be sent to me. According to them, case closed! I'm not happy and I have no use for a brown cushion cover, and not prepared to pay for something I have not ordered. They are calling me a liar whilst taking my money!

I loved the quality of the items…
I loved the quality of the items I bought last year. So I’ve decided to revisit this store and actually place a review. I don’t normally bother leaving reviews but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the leggings and also both pairs of soft leather shoes I bought. Thank you!
Awful experience
Awful experience. Wasn't clear they shipped from the UK, got charged an international transaction fee despite it being a com.au site and me paying in AUD. Then I received the shoes and they were literally the wrong shoe and absolutely massive. I sent a picture of the shoe I received and my order confirmation to customer service telling them to refund me and I got a response saying I received the correct shoe because the dispatch order had the "correct" name of the shoe. No bother to check their own website where there are two different shoes under the same name where selecting 'black' will get you one with laces and 'brown' will get you a completely different shoe. Not my problem that you've set the website up like that if you can't differentiate the two shoes from the colour selection?? Had to threaten to go through PayPal to get a refund.

What a great service from an outlet I've never heard of.
I ordered The Trespass Audrey Padded Jacket in The colour Sandstone.
Never heard of Universal textiles, so it was a bot if a punt. As it was the only store that had it in stock, even Trespass didn't have the colour.
I read a lot of reviews that said the sizes were small so to order a size up, which I did, and glad I did!
Ordered on December 29th (free delivery) thinking being a Friday, and the New Year weekend, it would probably be about a week........It arrived on January 2nd. And I was informed of delivery information at every step.
To sum up then. Only one in the size and colour I wanted. Free Delivery, super fast service.
I will definitely use them again.

Very much unsatisfactory service, it takes days to receive a reply from a complaint. I have purchase 2 items from you secondary company from Debenhams called Universal Textiles, their phone number is live but when you call you get endless ringing and then cut off, their customer service sent me an email informing me that any complaints I had had to be sent to Debenhams customer service as they don’t deal with complaints, even if you have purchased the clothing from them.
When I tried to return the item through Universal Textiles (Leicester) Royal Mail reference number and their Debenhams connection through Royal Mail return service it failed to even recognise the name Universal Textiles. Now I’m left with item I don’t want and no where to return it to. The last time Universal Textiles contacted me was to send an automated text asking me how was there customer service lol what customer service where they talking about, they don’t even reply to complaints you send them. I can clearly see how Debenhams have gone bust on the high street , especially when they are selling clothes to customers through a 3 party retailer that does nothing to help customers return items once they have been sold to you.

Completed cancellation form 28th Oct (same day as ordered. I found item £14 cheaper direct from Mountain Warehouse). Also emailed to cancel. No response and dispatched two days after cancellation submitted. Now stuck with cost of RETURNS: PAID BY CUSTOMER. Have emailed now 3 times. STILL NO RESPONSE to communication! Phone line inoperable & website states due to office restrictions! Frustrating. Why no order slip inside package? Make sure you add your own returns details slip or they won't know who it's from. Will raise a case with Paypal if unresolved.

I've got average sized feet and they are too tight across the widest part of my foot, even with thin socks on. With thick socks they would be even tighter. They are 0.5" narrower than my existing men's boots. I suspect your feet would get very cold very quickly in snow.
