my bus didnt show up two days in a row with no warning at all and i wasnt able to get where i needed!!! there was no sign of cancellation or anything it just didnt show up. not happy at all, we’re meant to be able to rely on our public transport.

One of their drivers nearly crashed…

One of their drivers nearly crashed into me, and would have had I not steered out of the way subsequently causing my tyre to burst due to hitting the curb. The driver was on my side of the road and speeding round a corner on a tight country lane. I have issued a complaint to Uno, I receive a response asking for more information which I provided. After nearly a month and multiple chases later. I still haven’t had a response.

Rude driver, unfair refund policy

Bus driver was extremely rude and wouldn't accept my valid activated mobile ticket. Forced us to purchased additional tickets. When I tried to explain again that I already had a valid mobile ticket, he grabbed the physical ticket he had forced me to buy and screwed it up. This later meant that I had no evidence to get it refunded and customer service wouldn't accept the mobile banking proof of purchase. They would also only refund the additional tickets purchased rather than the rejected mobile ticket, claiming that I downloaded it after boarding the bus, despite the fact that I can see on the app that it was downloaded and activated before boarding. So essentially I paid £17 for a single 20 minute journey for 4 people when we could've just paid the £10.40 we were forced to pay additionally anyway. Won't be using Unobus again. Back to Arriva.

Unreliable

Since taking over 292 the service is unreliable. Live times are changed every minute making the bus time later and then it eventually disappears and have to wait for next one. This route is my lifeline as I am 73 and have no other means of transport. This was a reliable service before December when UNO took over.Should be bus every 20 minutes but now lucky if more than 1 an hour.

How can you rely on this service?

My first time trying to get the bus from St Albans to Barnet.
My car in the garage, so had to get too work at the Hospital.
6.30 I was at the stop for a 653 to Hatfield on a Monday morning.
It never arrived. I stood in the dark watching people walk dogs. Exercise, then kids going to School, then people off too work. Still no Bus!!!
3rd Bus came 45 mins late (been over 2 hours at stop!)
Then Bus from Hatfield (already missed two connecting Bus because of no 653!)
States arriving in 3 mins. Then just disappeared from the board & never arrived?!
Ended up in an Uber, costing me a lot of money & missing over 2 hours of work!

Since then My Wife had to get the same bus on 2/3 occasions as I needed her car & every time was no sign of bus according to timetable & at least an hour wait each time!

How do people rely on this service to get to work or study on a daily basis?!
I would be sacked after a week.

I was on a journey from Barnet to…

I was on a journey from Barnet to Hatfield university it was the 614. I had my partner on the phone to direct me as to where I should press the bell to get off. The driver thought It was appropriate to tell me to come off the phone because it’s a distraction, and refused to listen to what I had to say. I received a notification this afternoon from uno actually telling people to not use there phone on loudspeaker and I find that to be very inappropriate for them to tell people that pay there fares what they can and cannot do. This type of living situation is not only controlling but is even audacious as I pay my phone bill and sim bill to be able to speak to who whenever or wherever….
This incident happened on the 20/10/2025 at 13:56 bus’s stop was Barnet Union street
The driver was a blonde white women middle aged.

Since taking over the 292 route from Metroline...

AWFUL service. If it isn't the crummy contact with customer service where an issue cannot be resolved or phone calls rarely answered, the unreliable service in general, they are the most incompetent bus company out there. It is a University bus, fgs.

I had an excellent driver

I had an excellent driver. Her name was Georgina (not sure if I spelt it right).

I've just started uni and I am blessed to have her as one of my drivers. She's so lovely! And I love that she actually does her job by ensuring students have their tickets.

Having professional drivers like Georgina is vital for students because her diligence ensures that my university is making the money they're supposed to from bus fares. If not, students may lose the privilege of the bus service, meaning a very long walk!

Thank you Georgina for your professionalism - you care about the students ❤️

Thank you Jinu, Bus driver for the 614

I took the Comet 614 bus and Jinu the bus driver was super friendly and helpful. I didn't think id ever leave a bus review but he deserves a review for how polite and friendly he was. I also forgot to press my stop and he had remembered and stopped for me where I needed the get off. Thank you Jinu

Uno bus SUCKS

Uno bus SUCKS! Always late. I’ve been overcharged. I’ve been charged twice. Rude drivers. Busses that smell like piss.

How can you improve? Try being on time for once?

Bus Number 1 from Euston lost away

At 10:40 Russell Square
The driver of Bus Number 1 from Euston completely lost the route and ignored every passenger who tried to explain the correct way. After about 20 minutes, the driver finally realised the passengers were right and admitted he was lost, then bizarrely decided to turn back towards King’s Cross.

I personally suffer from gastritis and stomach inflammation, and this situation caused me extreme stress because I had a very important medical appointment in North London for diabetes and prostate tests.

Such a level of irresponsibility and incompetence from a bus driver is simply unbelievable. London urgently needs younger, more capable drivers, and TfL as an institution is clearly in decline. It is disgusting to see such chaos and such disregard for the lives and schedules of ordinary people.

In the end, I was forced to reschedule my doctor’s appointment to 12:30 and take an Uber instead, which cost me £42. In my view, the head of Transport for London should resign over this level of disorder and incompetence, so that a more capable manager can step in.

Bus journey from Cranfield to Milton Keynes

I took the opportunity to use my bus pass today for the very first time and was looking forward to the experience.

On 29 Jul 2025, I took the C1 bus from Cranfield, Lodge Road at 1329 today towards Milton Keynes.

I was shocked at the speed the driver was doing as he turned right towards the University roundabout after leaving the village.

What shocked me even more was his speed as he approached every speed hump sending everyone in the air. This experience was extremely uncomfortable for all the passengers let alone those passengers who are/have suffered from
back problems, which I have. My back is still sore now as a result. I will see how this develops over the next few days.

The driver in my opinion was very selfish, totally disrespectful in the way he drove and clearly had no consideration whatsoever for the safety of his passengers.

I was extremely concerned about whether to even stay on the bus but at the first stop in the University, the bus drivers changed over, which I was thankful for.

The new driver was the complete opposite. Very considerate, respectful and showed great care when driving in particular over the speed humps when we left the University. He was a driver that cared for the safety of his passengers.

This was not the experience I had anticipated and would hope that this is not indicative of the way your drivers operate.

I would hope that this matter is investigated to determine whether this particular driver is fit to drive busses and in effect put in charge of up to 50 passengers.

Uno Bus service is consistently late

Uno Bus service is consistently late, making punctuality impossible. Today, after endless waiting, the driver unbelievably closed the door on my face twice at different stops, despite my attempts to board for work. This isn't just poor service; it's a complete disregard for passengers. Utterly frustrating and unacceptable.

Very happy user of 601 and 602 buses

Caught a 602 and a 601 for the first time today as my car has broken down and was pleasantly surprised enough to leave a review. Both drivers were friendly, polite and very helpful. Price was reasonable and although one card reader was broken I was able to pay cash unlike London buses. Very satisfied with the service, thank you.
