Quite possibly the worst launcher out there, bugs make your experience quite literally impossible from an unlimited loop of refresh screens to games crashing there’s no much more I can say due to the fact that I can’t even get any further into this abysmal thing they call a launcher

This company has caused me mental harm.

This company has caused me mental harm and severely damaged my mental health, and I will never forgive them for this.

As a full-time biochemistry student who also runs his own STEM tutoring company and is involved in countless ambassadorships and volunteer programs, I'm just a tad busy. However, I have rare moments of downtime, where I enjoy playing video games.

Well, I decided to trust Ubisoft and give them my money. This was a horrendous mistake that I'll never make again, and I will actively steer others away from repeating my mistake.

I purchased a game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, on Steam. Upon launch, I am forced to log in to my Ubisoft account. You are never allowed to play any Ubisoft games unless you log in to an Ubisoft account and allow it to run in the background during your gaming session.

Of course, my primary account password hasn't been used in a decade, so I request a reset link. I whitelisted all possible Ubisoft emails, checked spam, checked every folder, and nothing ever came.

I decided to use my business email to create a new account. Confirmation email never arrived. The email works fine, by the way, just tested it.

I then created ANOTHER alternate account with an alternate Gmail, and it created it successfully!! I quickly wrote down my password, so I wouldn't forget! I then tried logging in with this new account to play my game: PASSWORD INCORRECT OR EMAIL DOESN'T EXIST, ACCOUNT SUSPENDED.

I will NEVER EVER trust Ubisoft again, and I will not make it a personal mission to go after them in every single way possible, as they have basically stolen money from me. It's sad, because everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, on the internet absolutely shames and ridicules Ubisoft as being one of the worst companies around, but I wanted to give them a chance. Shame on me, I am the fool.

After 15 years with this company i…

After 15 years with this company i finally had enough and closed the account.
What prompted this you might ask, well it was a mix of things that have been accumulating, but the final drop was the "customer service".
I lost access to an old email, but that didn't stop me, since i also had my phone number on 2FA settings, and was still able to login. I can login through sms no problem, just needed to change the email. So i followed their guides and whatever, but i could never receive the confirmation code for the new email, checked spam, whitelisted the emails they asked, still nothing. Then i contacted support and said i still have access by sms, just need to change email since, if i lose my phone or something happens, i will be locked out of the account. They gave me the; "yes we understand, but f* you, deal with it". So in essence the dont care at all. I understand they could think im some hacker and want to take an account over or something, but since i could still login and had access through sms, why woulnd't they just change the email for the one i want? Also, why is there so many people on the internet complaining about not receiving the codes in the email? There must be something wrong at their end. Anyway im at a point in my life where i also dont care, so if they don't want me as a customer, no problem, told them bye and deleted the account to never come back.

Worst Support ever!

After spending over 6.000 hours in R6 my account got hacked.
I'm unsure how this ever happened, as I usually have 2FA enabled and a strong, generated password.
After reaching to support with evidence that I was indeed the rightful owner of the account, I got hit with the most pre-written text in history saying that they sadly cannot verify the ownership as they would need Ubisoft receipts from purchases made on my account through their store - good luck getting these when you play on Steam!
So yeah, 6.000h account and a shit ton of skins and money are gone. Great job Ubisoft! But hey, at least you make your game worse and worse every update. I pray to god that you drive this shitty company right into the next tree

Ubisoft connect is bad (who guessed)

I have bought for Honor on like 3 separate occasions. I rebought it most recently on steam as it was on a huge sale and I'd like to have my hours on steam. Tried to log in and its now saying the account doesn't have access to the game, my other account does though. but I literally bought it on the account a few weeks ago and have been playing on that same account a few days ago. I want one account to play on specifically as it has all my old progress, I used the other account as a fresh start as at the time For Honor had no cross progression. I have contacted support but expecting to wait weeks to actually have my issuer resolved as my past experiences have been terrible. Absolutely atrocious launcher and so frustrating having to use it, I truly hope they get rid of it. Nobody likes it, unironically never heard a good thing about it.

This app will make you not want to game anymore

Wouldn't allow games to be played. The software won't uninstall (I went through everything, files, background apps running, the whole 9 yards). It's the biggest killer of trying to play games now. I actually don't want to play these games anymore after spending 10+ hours trying to play a game I looked forward to for 6 months.

Ubisoft is Useless and Incompetent

Just impossible to play The Crew Motorfest on Steam Deck
Keep disconnecting for no reason after 3 to 5 min of gaming.
Also when you want to make a claim on the Ubisoft Support, surprisingly you cannot do anything when you click the tab "Troubleshooting" then "technical Issues" you cannot type any text, upload any files. Just can't contact them...
If you contact the customer service they will just tell you they can't do anything, go find a solution on discord then close the case.
Which you can translate to "f*** off, find the problem yourself"

Very very disappointing and unprofessional.

Dumb decision from Ubisoft

I think it is incredibly stupid as well as unreasonable that I cannot access DLC that I have paid a decent amount of money for, in New Game + in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. What a dumb decision. Other game studios can make it work, but not Ubisoft?

Also, there are so many bugs and graphic errors now the game is verging on unplayable.
