Do not rent from JT Urban

Do not rent from JT Urban. I highly advise you to stay clear away from these scammers. I recently lost a family member and had to cancel; I never got to stay in the apt. At first, I spoke to JT Urban, and on the day I was supposed to check in, he contacted me, telling me that the Airbnb wouldn’t be available because the guests who were renting it were leaving the following day. The guests thought check-out was the next day, and instead of doing what a hotel would have done by telling them they need to find another place, JT Urban accommodated them and let them stay.

This was such an inconvenience that I had to pay for a hotel for an extra two days because the hotel check-out time was 11 a.m., and the Airbnb wouldn’t be ready until after 3 p.m. I spent close to $1,000 because of this, which I should be reimbursed for, considering I had a booking for September 4th.

The following day, I was contacted by a Russian bit*h named Kateryna. She is very, very rude and way too pushy about when I was going to check in. She kept calling, and we told her we were not sure when we would check in, but it would be at night on September 5th. We told her we would let her know, but she called back 5 minutes later, rushing us to check in and not allowing us to do the things we had planned. If we want to check in at night, we can. What type of Airbnb host forces you to meet up with her so she can rush you and make you stay at her place when she wants you to?

I paid over $7,000 for an Airbnb that is very tiny and outdated. Not even the furniture in that apt is worth $7,000, but this lady was so rude, constantly calling, asking, and rushing us. So, I decided to cancel my stay because I didn’t feel safe staying in a place like that with a Russian bit*h who doesn’t know anything about communication. Then, I found out I had a death in the family, but that wasn’t the reason I had to cancel. It was because she was very unprofessional and fake. She acts nice at first, but she is not nice. Currently, she is trying to scam me out of over $7,000. If I don’t want to book an Airbnb with a host like her, I should be refunded.

She was rude, not understanding, and kept rushing me. She also cost me over $1,000 in hotel fees. It’s not like I asked for a refund for that, which I should be accommodated for and paid back because I wasn’t allowed to check in when I was supposed to. If my Airbnb had been ready on my booking day, this wouldn’t have been a problem. But I still think I would have had an issue with this host because she doesn’t care what you are doing and tries to rush you to stop everything just to meet up with her.

I also feel like she is hosting in a building where she shouldn’t be hosting. She was acting very weird and strange. I don’t think anyone should rent from her. Also, the neighborhood is bad, so if you don’t want to get robbed, I suggest you look elsewhere.
