Efficient, professional and quick. 100% recommend it

I used Uship to have 3 pieces of furniture shipped from Florida to North Carolina. The app was fairly easy to use and process was wonderful, I received a very fair bid and the furniture was picked up in 3 days, as promised and delivered in 2 days. Communication was excellent and I was very satisfied

Setting up and getting bids was very easy. After picking one, the gentleman contacted me and was very easy to work with. Overall great experience.

⚠️ WARNING ABOUT SHIPPING A VEHICLE WITH USHIP ⚠️

I want to share my experience so hopefully it does not happen to someone else.

I booked a vehicle shipment through UShip. Once my vehicle was picked up, things immediately went wrong. My car disappeared and I had no real information about the company that picked it up. When I contacted UShip for help, I was told to stop calling and only communicate through email with their legal department and customer support.

After that, no one returned my calls, no one provided answers, and no one helped locate my vehicle.

To make things worse, whoever had the car disabled my OnStar, so I could no longer track where the vehicle was going.

When I asked UShip for the transporter’s information, they claimed they did not collect or verify basic information such as insurance, DOT numbers, or even proof of who the transporter actually was. In other words, someone can pick up your car through their platform and they may not even know who they really are.

Another thing people need to understand is this: when you voluntarily give your car to a transporter, many police departments will not list it as stolen if the vehicle disappears. They often treat it as a civil contract dispute, meaning they say no crime has been committed and tell you that you must sue the company yourself.

If that happens, you may never see your car again, and in many cases your insurance company will not pay the claim because it was never officially listed as stolen.

In my situation, I was fortunate that one detective took the time to review all the evidence I had gathered. Based on the information I provided, he agreed that this was not simply a contract dispute and had the vehicle listed as stolen.

After doing my own investigation and working with law enforcement, I was able to obtain historical OnStar location data showing where the vehicle had traveled. That information led police to an operation where vehicles were being loaded into shipping containers to be sent overseas.

My car was found inside one of those containers, and law enforcement recovered around 30 stolen vehicles that were returned to their owners.

If that detective had not taken the time to listen and list the vehicle as stolen, I likely would have never recovered my car and my insurance company would never have paid the claim.

My advice: be extremely careful about who you trust to ship your vehicle. Make sure you know the transporter, their insurance, their DOT registration, and who is actually responsible for your car.

Based on my experience, using UShip can leave you completely unprotected if something goes wrong.

Corey was incredibly professional and punctual! His colleague was also very respectful and kind. The price was great, and the whole process was easy and smooth.

Worst communication and experience ever! They told me they would have at least two people on the truck and will deliver the item in the house. That didn’t happen. Only one person was on the truck, the driver. There was no lift gate and the step into the back of the truck was rusted. To make it worse, they damaged the furniture in transit. I paid the extra $70 for insurance. Didn’t know there was a $500 processing fee and because the repair was $497 they wouldn’t pay it out. Couldn’t even get the $70 garbage insurance charge refunded. Will NEVER use this service again and will NEVER use UShip again.

Great experience.

I have had two experiences so far and both have been unsatisfactory. One was about a week late and the other one wouldn’t deliver to the house because it was under construction and didn’t want to drive up the gravel driveway (which every other delivery truck had driven up including a concrete truck)

I had a great and easy experience. I'm new to shipping and they made it easy.

It took 3 days for them to find me a driver but once they did everything went smoothly. The driver contacted me on the same day they wanted to pick up so that was a bit inconvenient. I shipped from Florida to California and it took just 2.5 days for them to get me my car. Very reasonably priced for car shipping.

Needed an RV picked up from auction in Tucson, AZ, and delivered to Phoenix, AZ. Once posted, I had several bids, all of them very competitive. A couple of bids offered to pickup next day, which worked for us as we were on a time crunch. The driver was very professional, and even offered to repair a tire or replace a battery if necessary! Will definitley use again!

Easy peasy. In 30 minutes, I had a very reasonable quote from a highly rated driver/shipper… and he lived up to his high rating. Payment was automatic once I confirmed receipt. Excellent experience.

Smooth transition.
Once I arranged the sale with the seller, I booked Uship and within the same week the truck was picked up. I expected three-four days to get it delivered but instead it took one day. I ordered an open trailer but somehow an enclosed trailer delivered on the same day that it was picked up. Baker city Oregon- Los Angeles CA
