For a budget friendly brand name scale it work really well, very good for trickling your loads up to the required amount and can trickle from zero which is rare, many scales have trouble coming of zero from a trickle, small and compact does not take a lot of room on your reloading bench, and I find it perfect for my needs, I personally hand trickle up every load to get the best consistency and this little scale fits the bill for me. There are by far more expensive scales which only give you the same amount of accuracy, Commonly the higher the price the better the scale but there is a big step from the price of this scale to its bigger brother and other even more expensive auto trickle scales. The G3 is an upgrade from its predecessor, with a few better features like "always on" this too can be adjusted to suit your needs. Battery powered with 2 x AAA's. although the upgrade is a few years old now it still holds a respectful position within budget reloading scales. MAFF
