Its come as a total surprise this product, its been around for well over 30 years if not longer, but this was my first time of using it, because nobody seems to stock it, being an American product I will say this though, it has almost magical properties to it, don't let its odd gloupy colour and consistency put you off, because after only one coat i can tell you it makes guns take on a showroom finish. What it does: rub about a 10 pence piece work dob on a cotton cloth onto stocks barrels action metalwork, even works on plastic, let it sit for a minute then buff off...it gives a deep lustrous finish and high shine. Enhancing colour case hardening engraving plus even fine checkering without ruining it or gumming up, it makes walnut look breathtaking and even enhances the look of damascus barrels, giving a resonance that wasnt there before. Id rate this product 10/10 only downside is it is quite expensive. But totally worth the money. Ps. If you get this wax stuck in a crevise or larger checkering then just brush out with a clean toothbrush.
