Very impressed with build quality and attention to detail. 10min setup. Stood up to moderate wind and rain on Munro summit camp for first test. More spacious inside than expected.

At this point I have only test pitched the tent (always a good idea before first proper use). I have a couple of other Wild Country tents so have a good idea of the quality to expect. I was in the market for a lightweight 1 man tent (that didn’t break the bank), so after reading some reviews I decided to give this new one a try. It is light but feels strong and durable. Test pitch was in the garden on a blustery evening and took less than 10 mins to pitch (will definetly be quicker next time). Mostly pretty straight forward to pitch, just a few adjustments of the poles at the foot and head end. I didn’t put the guylines from the centre pole out but even so in the blustery conditions it was holding strong. The inside is nice and spacious (for a 1 man tent), room for a proper width mat and stuff, and the porch easily has room for wet stuff and cooking if the weather is really inclement. I’m 6ft3” and am able to lie without touching ends of tent, also just about able to sit up straight. One storage pocket (possibly intended for the massive door) and a loop to hold lantern at the peak. Looking forward to getting many nights out in this.
