I like to practise on paper, usually twice weekly. 50/100 rounds per week. I clean after every range day, but, once every 4 or 5 weeks i run a few patches soaked in KG2 through my barrels AFTER cleaning. After thoroughly drying the barrel i run a patch of Lockeeze through and leave muzzle down until the carrier evaporates. I tnink this helps with the first shot from a cold clean barrel being very near the point of aim. I can’t say one way or another whether it improves the barrel, but it keeps me happy and my guns shooting better than i can. Ken.
