Important Advice for Tesla Buyers: Dealer Sticker Placement Can Damage Defrost Lines
I bought my Tesla from V12 and later noticed that the dealer had placed a sticker directly over the rear defrost grid lines. When I removed it, I discovered that several of the heating lines were damaged underneath. Tesla confirmed the only fix is replacing the entire rear window, which costs over £780.
The dealer did not warn me that the sticker was placed on a sensitive area or that removing it could cause this kind of damage. When I raised the issue, they refused to help, saying it was my mistake — even though the sticker was applied by them before the sale.
I’m sharing this review to help other Tesla owners who bought from V12 — especially if your car still has their dealer sticker on the back window — please check carefully for any damage to your defrost lines before removing it. And for anyone buying a Tesla from V12 (or any dealer), make sure to get written confirmation that the dealer’s sticker won’t cause damage if removed.
This has been an expensive and frustrating lesson, so I hope it helps others avoid the same problem.

One stop shop for cars
All staff at V12 Stoke were friendly and polite. Able to view and test drive the car I was interested in that day (by appointment). Although I felt slightly pressured to make a decision the same day, it meant I bought the car I wanted, at a reasonable price. The salesman who dealt with me (Dean)was very helpful throughout, and the manager has been efficient in dealing with a couple of minor problems since then. Overall, a positive experience.

There were some delays in preparing the car due to a dead battery and the need to wait for the car wash before taking the test drive. The sales representative declined to take ownership when concerns were raised about the delays in obtaining the necessary paperwork, referring the responsibility to his manager. Additionally, there was a broken slat on the rear air vent, a cracked drivers seat bolster, a service oil change message, and missing car mats that were all disregarded despite assurances that appropriate action would be taken. Third gear enganging was somewhat temperamental and I felt there was lack of desire to look more into it but rather push for payment of a warranty incase it got worse after the car had been purchased.

Not a nice experience
Not a nice experience. Quite pushy sales people. Failed to answer questions about car's history. Did not point out that the car needed a major service (dashboard notification). Argued about getting a new MOT done. Car had 7 miles of petrol when we picked it up. It was 4 miles to the nearest garage. Did not provide details of finance prior to visit (we paid cash). Mats from car had been removed, V12 did not replace. The handover was done very well.
One day after collection the MIL light went on (it had been reset just prior to collection). The EV system did not function at all (OBDII code P1A1F), there is a permanent code for a mis-fire. The vehicle had not gone to a LR dealer since PDR in 2022, hence missed all safety recalls and software updates. Lastly, the multi-point AA check completely missed the above fault codes, it also stated the recalls were outstanding. How A12 & Classics missed this is unbelievable. Basically, we purchased a 2t paperweight that is not roadworthy. Buyer beware!

Really pleased with the car we bought. We arrived late in the evening to view the car and the staff stayed until 10:30pm just to complete our sale.
Great service.
We'll definitely use again for our next car

Car Faults and Terrible After Sales Service
I'm currently dealing with this company at the time of writing this review, but I'm just about at the end of my tether now. Bought a car from the Stoke-on-Trent branch on Friday August 15th 2025. Paid in full including extra warranty, ceramic coating and GuardX on seating which was done while we waited. Drove the car home, which is 3 hours away. Half way home, an AdBlue light came on followed by a Parking Brake fault light. Managed to re-engage the brakes and over the weekend, bought and filled up the AdBlue, but the light didn't go off. Parking Brake continued to be an intermittent problem with not wanting to go on. Contacted V12 After Sales on 19th August and was told to take the car to a VAT registered garage near me. Fault codes were diagnosed, then further investigation needed to find the exact problem and quote for parts and fixing. Car booked back in for the following week but the Parking Brake stuck on and therefore unable to be driven. After Sales said their free AA cover would be able to recover my car and take to garage. Rang AA but V12's cover doesn't cover Home Recovery so V12 organised a breakdown truck to take the car back to my local garage. That was 4 weeks ago and the car is still there because V12 do not want to pay the price quoted. Instead they have found another garage near me who will fix my car with the parts that V12 will supply. Parts should have been ordered 2 weeks ago but have not arrived yet and whenever I email for updates I get ignored. Their After Sales phone lines have you on hold for up to 2 hours and it's just not good enough. I'm currently begging for tracking info to try and find out when to expect the parts. V12 have already told me that the caliper motor for the brakes has not been ordered as they couldn't source one, so I'm already foreseeing additional delays. Of the 6 weeks of ownership, I have only been able to drive this car for roughly 9 days.
Update: The parts I was waiting for hadn't been ordered and I had to keep on and on. I thought to ask if the parts would be new as V12 were trying so hard to get the price down and I was told they would be. Eventually an AdBlue tank and pump arrived at my address. On opening the package I was furious to discover it was a used part and I complained, only to be told that I wouldn't have been told the parts would be new. I asked for a telephone transcript of the date I knew I'd been told about new parts. Sure enough, it has proved they lied. The garage where the car had been living for the past 4 weeks, refused to do the work with V12's used parts so there was another delay until they found somebody else. Eventually, the car went off to another garage and the AdBlue tank was swapped over. There was still an issue with the parking brake, which had an Auto P Off amber warning light displayed and the mechanic could not get it to go off despite several resets, but the brakes were, at least, working. After being in 2 garages for 6 and a half weeks, I finally got the car back the day before I went in holiday. I drove it 470 miles on the journey to my holiday destination and the AdBlue warning light came on again, along with the message that the car would be impossible to start after 500 miles. By the time I'd reached my holiday destination, it was down to 450 miles. I emailed V12 and told them and they said to not use the car and they'd pick it up from my home. I repeated that I didn't think I could make it home, but they kept saying get home and they'd sort it. I didn't use the car all week as I was on a boating holiday, which was somewhat ruined by the amount of worry I felt and the back and forth emails that were going on. I made the long journey home non-stop, which was very dangerous as I felt very tired. Once home I turned the engine off and then it would no longer restart. I was told it had been arranged for the car to be recovered on 23rd October, but nobody came. I phoned After Sales and they said somebody would come for it before 11am on 24th October. Then I had another call to say somebody would come between 3-4pm on 24th but I said that wasn't good enough so they backed down to the original time. A few minutes later the breakdown company coming to collect the car called me to ask if he could come very early as he had other jobs on. He hadn't been booked as I had been told at the start of the week, so that was another lie.The car was picked up at 7.30am and is currently being looked at, so yet again I am stranded. I live in a remote village with no amenities so a car is essential. I bought the car 10 weeks ago today and have had it on my drive for all of 2 weeks. This is an absolutely disgraceful service. Despite the reply from V12 to my original review, nothing has changed. Nothing gets done in a hurry and I cannot stand the lies. For me, that is the worst thing.
Update 2: Manager of V12 and AA mediation now involved and 2 weeks later, it's finally fixed. In total, 12 weeks of hell.

Got the basics wrong.
They got basics wrong and sold my Wife a Car in an unsafe condition. I checked the Car the day after purchase the Coolant was 1" above the maximum line, Oil was 1/2" above the maximum line and there was a scraping sound when reversing off our driveway. Drove to our nearest Asda 5 minutes away to check the tyres and they were 10 PSI above the maximum pressures recommended by Ford. After correcting tyre pressures, removing coolant etc we test drove it and weren't happy with it and we live too far away to take it back to Stoke, especially when we weren't convinced it was safe to drive. We then took it to our local A.T.S and left it with them, as we thought it needed brakes repairs, because they weren't responsive enough. We contacted the warranty company and they messed us around for a few days and then said brakes replacement wasn't covered. We checked the warranty companies small print and weren't impressed with what the warranty did cover + they charge an excess too; when V12 had already charged us an extra £149 for basic warranty cover. My Wife contacted V12 and we were kept waiting. We got sick of waiting all the days, so we asked A.T.S to get the Car road worthy. A.T.S. said the brakes were passable on testing, following correction of the tracking, but the tracking was one of the worst they'd ever seen. We got the car back from A.T.S and it felt safe to drive it. The next day other warnings appeared on the dashboard, such as oxygen sensor etc, so I just thought we're going to have problems with it, as they couldn't do basic maintenance correctly and I no longer trust the car, nor V12. I also hate that V12 are using the AA in their marketing too. We contacted the AA about it, because we were told a comprehensive check had been done by the AA before purchase. The AA said they had no record of this car being checked by them, however there are other approved companies out there doing the inspections. When we wanted a refund V12 made hard work of that too. Told us 3-5 days for a refund, but took nearer 3 weeks. What's most annoying is that they were happy to send my Wife and Daughter away in an unroadworthy Car. We eventually got the refund, but V12 didn't even have the decency to pay for the A.T.S bill, nor compensate us for the stress and inconvenience. I never write a review on anything, because I haven't got time to, but I'm bitter about our experience with this company. Another thing to note is having worked in sales ourselves we weren't impressed with all the pressure selling. We'd already rejected all the add ons, and then we were passed on to a colleague, so that he could then push the same sale add ons too.

Quite honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever come across, 7 weeks since purchasing from V12 and still waiting for their management team to sort out our issue.
Utter disgrace and now forced to commence legal proceedings against the company to recoup the outstanding money.
