They ruined my holiday
My booking request no. 7692071 was placed at Vacansoleil on February 3rd and confirmed by my advance immediate payment. Surprisingly, they cancelled it on Mai 2nd explaining that “extremely rare combination of circumstances took place” what was grotesque after 3 (three!) months since the booking confirmation. They added some ridiculous explanations as “availability in small quantities”, “product management in real time” or “several users connected to the Internet at the same time” etc. what didn’t completely match the fact that the booking had been done and confirmed 3 (three!) months ago. Moreover, on April 30th what was a few days before the cancellation I received an official confirmation sent by Vacansoleil representative that I can be comfortable about my future stay at the booked destination! What is interesting, the cancelation note was sent to me just after I contacted Vacansoleil asking about my accommodation details. It all shows clearly that Vacansoleil deceived me accusing the supplier of the accommodation on site. In conclusion, I’m sure that Vacansoleil is at fault for the affair because they hadn’t been dealing with my accommodation for the 3 months even misleading me in the meantime deliberately. Such huge neglect of the service and lack of professionalism ruined my holiday plans completely. I lost time, money and nerves trusting them unwisely. I placed an official complaint about the cancellation to Vacansoleil but they weren’t interested in any compensation and authentic apologies as well. Of course, all the evidences of the story are reflected in the email correspondence which I filed carefully.
