​I visited Value Floors Birmingham recently following a strong recommendation from my builder, who is exceptionally customer-oriented. While I initially had feeling that something is off, my experience during the order collection revealed a significant lack of professionalism that I feel others should be aware of.

​Professionalism & Respect: Unfortunately, I found the attitude here to be unprofessional. It was particularly disappointing to encounter a staff member who held clear preconceptions about some community, despite appearing to be from the same background himself.

​Service Issues: I had enough confidence in my builder's recommendation to place an order. However, the behavior I encountered during collection was so poor that if the product hadn't already arrived, I would have cancelled immediately.

​Inflexible Policies: I was informed late that they would not accept returns for any unused remains. Furthermore, when I asked for the measurements, the staff member actually tore them up in front of me, stating it was "their work." This forced me to return to the property to retake simple measurements myself.

​Better Alternatives: Due to this experience, I chose not to order my carpets here. I instead went to another vendor where the customer service was excellent and far more welcoming.

​I hope this feedback is taken constructively. While the pricing might be competitive, the lack of professional engagement and the assumptions made about customers make it difficult to recommend this store to those who value a respectful business relationship

I wanted some flooring for my stairs and landing .Value floors were local to me and a top supplier of the brand of flooring I was interested in
Thanks to Kieran we managed to get everything sorted
His has brilliant knowledge of the products
And didn’t try to push us for more expensive choices and was really helpful mentioning things I never thought of asking

Really glad i chose this store they are definitely worth considering due to range of products and customer service, prices are competitive as well
I’m going to use them again later in year for my living room floor
Parking outside was limited a bit on a main road but that’s minor issue.
Don’t understand the one star reviews my experience was well worth the 5 stars I gave in this review.

Didn't issue a refund after returning the items

We have used this company in a previous home and now we have moved are using them again. We have had a large bedroom fitted by Ben with laminate flooring and as usual an exceptional job has been done. Without hesitation we will be having all of our downstairs floored by them and carpets in the other bedrooms. Do not go anywhere else as you won’t get a better job done or a better price. Add to this the staff are all friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommended!!!

I bought some flooring from this company...very substandard flooring so complained and have been ignored for months not responding to my calls or emails.

Another First Class experience and service from Value Floors. Chose carpet for stairs and landing and laminate for the hall. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Great quality product. Good price and superbly fitted by them. Top job! They came out to measure up. Arrived on time to fit and left everything tidy.
Have previously used them to do the kitchen floor - part of which needed a screed to fix a pitted concrete floor prior to vinyl going down. Again, they did a great job with it all.
Will definitely go to again for the next flooring project..

The staff here really do know their stuff which makes a difference when you need a product that’s going to be in your home for a long time and used every day! Appreciate that they didn’t try to sell me the most expensive flooring and carpets, Maz understood my budget and was able to work with it. Fitting was booked quickly and both the laminate and carpet fitters were professional, efficient and did an excellent job. I’ve recommended them to my family who have also used them, and will use again for another room I need doing soon.

Just as the last review if there was reviewing in the -minuses this business would surely get a minus. When first entering the store the staff are so ungrateful rude and disrespectful. They make you feel little and have no customer care skills and qualities at all. And then the so called manager he was as rude as anything I am surprised the store is still open. I am glad I did not take my service there as they don’t deserve it.

If I could leave a 0 I would! The customer service for this company is non existent! Had the delivery turn up without even arranging a date in advance.Which then required assistance for the delivery driver to unload. Beating in mind these are heavy packs of laminate flooring this wasn’t possible at the time as only my mother was at the property. Called to rearrange countless times. Staff rude and no one seems to be capable of diary management or communication. Eventually managed to rearrange for 2nd March. Delivery has turned up today 22nd February at 8am again wanting assistance to unload with no one available! Do not bother use another supplier!

This website is really nice and awesome.I really like the products available.I also like the fact that they are not expensive.Customers are served really well and fast.I will recommend it to anyone interested.

Despite the initial friendliness of the manager, our experience with Value Floors has been a disaster. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing, and we’ve been stuck with a botched flooring job for a month and a half, and after several phone calls to all of the parties involved and being strung along for weeks, we’ve been been told the installers aren’t interested in coming back out to look at it, and there’s nothing that can be done. It’s totally not worth risking your money on a company that has zero accountability or customer service standards.

Had laminate flooring delivered today, it came as promised, on time, delivered by Nick who was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Product is good, as promised and the service was superb. No complaints and very happy customer.

WARNING - do not believe them when they say they have an item in stock! Poor customer service and extremely poor communication. I cancelled my order after 4 weeks of non delivery (Cancelled by email and phone). After 5 weeks I get a call to say my order had been dispatched! Was told to refuse delivery and they would provide a refund when the items were back with them!

I returned an unopened product which I bought from Value Floors over 4 months ago. Very good of them to give me a full refund. I appreciate decency. Nice chaps to deal with too.

Fitter fine should of brought door strips was promised by Trevor but fitter was given them and not told so used old ones,husband phoned up and man on phone told him that he was too busy to talk to him and put down the phone.So if you have a problem they don’t want to know,if you are lucky and don’t it’s a 5 star.
