7655 Markham road value village I have…
7655 Markham road value village I have been a customer for over 10 years I always loved this store until I purchased some curtains when I come how the tag was in the center of them I removed the tags to go wash the curtains start to fall apart they are so rotton I bring them back to the store your tell me the worker tell me the tag doesn't match with the curtains the tags say curtains and drapes they try to give me a hard time why do I need to tell lies on old curtains this is a used clothes store with hiking prices all free item the prices are terrible why should I tell lies on $5.99 items the worker don't have any customer service skill dont know how to talk to customer all they do is whispers to each other instead of advising the customer about the product I have to get mad on these people until the manager get involved just let people know check your items carefully before buy they need customer training you may try to return and they give you a hard time . I will never recommend anyone to shop with them just to show you how wicked they are I brought som item yes when I come home I check all my price and tags they was two tags show different item from what I purchased and they want to tell me it the wrong tag I bring back be careful value village customers.
The manager at the Store St in Victoria…
The manager at the Store St in Victoria BC, named Rashinka or Rashnika (NOT SURE HOW TO SPELL the nane), ut she the most rude, unprofessional and definitaly not fitted to be a manager!. She never listen to women customers, walk away while the politly talk, never looks at you or make eye contact, and even refused to give me a coupon after donating a large bag of clothing. Later same day she was laughing and flirting with 3 men customers..complectly ignored another women customer who was waiting to ask something! Wow that is literally not a person who is suited to be a manager, she is a female customer hater, and flirting with men in the work time! WOW, how is this allowed!
Caution
Appreciate having items organized and the staff are helpful, but what really bothers me is the spray used on clothing. If that is to kill insects on clothing items, strongly perfumed, then I have been biologically affected too. It's so hard to remove, you not only have to wash it, but hang it outside, sometimes for days. Maybe V.V. can attach advice to price tags explaining how to remove it.
Value Village in Toronto
One of my favorite value village. This store has an amazing collection, spanning from vintage unusual treasures to casual current clothes. The staff is also quite pleasant. This store is a hidden gem, and I've never left without finding something amazing.
Terrible Customer Service and High Prices
I have shopped at Value Village many times. This time because of Covid I was unable to try clothing on. I asked the cashier if I could return if they didn't fit and she said yes, within 14 days you get a store credit. I tried on the clothes and they didn't fit. I had used a 20% off coupon to purchase. When I went back to the store they told me exchange only. I told them that I was told I would get a credit. The manager did not care. I was forced to go and buy more but they didn't give me the 20% discount I had got earlier in the day. They didn't care. Their service is terrible and the prices are far too high for a resale shop. I will never donate or shop there again.
