Absolutely useless service

Absolutely useless service, I ordered a van as they said maximum 5 weeks delivery. Finance got accepted, vehicle registration assigned to me and contract was sent for me to sign, whilst reading the contract I noticed VW were offering servicing, tyres and maintenance package for £32 a month compared to the £80 a month that Vanarama were quoting. I called and spoke with Estella who is meant to be dealing with my application who advised she would get the contract amended and resent for me to sign to arrange delivery of the van. That was 3 weeks ago still no contract, no update from them, I call and ask for updates to be told VW systems are down which is nonsense because I’ve spoken with VW leasing directly. They don’t return callbacks promised, complaint logged with Peter who again doesn’t follow up with any updates or even attempt to resolve the issues. What I don’t understand is if they can’t get their act together to get this issue sorted to arrange delivery of the van why chase my sale in the first place!

The price given is provisional

The price you get told will probably be changed, Vanarama should say 'provisional' price. The connection between Vanarama and the actual leasing company is patchy, in my case VW, the leasing company sets the prices and their and Vanarama's systems do not sync perfectly. Vanarama repeatedly quoted prices that were out of date. Their automated email system always seems to be one step behind and you have to keep phoning back.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a new van, they said 4-6 weeks delivery date which was fine. 2 days before the van was due to be delivered they call me to say Vw has no stock and they can’t tell me when they will. Bunch of amateurs.

Vanarama were great after a bad experience elsewhere

I had a really hard time with other dealers and providers who let me down. Vanarama were different. They were professional, made things easy, and helped me without the stress. I wish I had used them from the start. Highly recommended!

Messed me around

I order my car lease begining of February. Finance approved instantly and everything was going smoothly. 3 weeks later, 1 day before my car was due to be delivered I got an email to say the car is not starting and they have to book it in with dealer and there is no eta.

I said thats not good enough nor do I want that car now. So they cancelled my application after wasting 3 weeks. They found a new car for me the same day but not the colour of my choice and so I reluctantly accepted as I was desperate. New application had to be made as it was with a different funder. Then for the next 8 days I called everyday to find out the status of the application. I kept being told it was with the funder and theres nothing they can do. Each day that went past I was getting more frustrated. Tired on spending on ubers every day on the 8th day I called and said I cant take this anymore and I am tempted to go with another broker. I got in contact with select car leasing. Within 1 hour new car found application made and approved and now due for delivery.

I emailed vanerama to cancel my application and the funny thing is a few hours later I get an email to say the funder has accepted.

Absolute joke of a company. I get the finance is beyond their control but they did nothing to assist me. Nor chase the lender or offer me an alternative. Im sure they have bdms for each lender that they can make a call to yet they did nothing. I would never use them again nor would I recommend to friends, family or staff.

Quick and easy

The partial finance application was done on line and was fairly simple. I chose not to complete the order entirely on line as I wanted to clarify spec. and colour of the vehicle. I had one point of contact during the process and she was very helpful. I've leased cars in the past and it can take many phone calls and extensive paperwork. It was simple with Vanarama. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I could not get my choice of colour as this was a stock vehicle. More information regarding availability would be appreciated on the website.

Awful

Honestly if you want to loose alot of money then go ahead lease from these. It has cost me thousands for a van that keeps breaking down, and now they have refused to repair the wet belt after 3 months. I have had non stop headaches with them and constant arguments. About multiple issues avoid as much as possible.
