Vans cancelled my custom shoe order…
Vans cancelled my custom shoe order over a month after the order was approved by the design team at Vans. I was informed that my order had been cancelled and I was being refunded, without any explanation. After spending my time getting through to customer service, they figured it out. There wasn’t really any good explanation of why my order was canceled. If anyone has gone through the process of getting a custom pair of Vans. They know it is painful and annoying. Thanks Vans for completely letting me down. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Lost package poor customer service and money wasted
They have very poor customer service. I don’t recommend, if your package is lost or stolen they won’t take any responsability and the carrier doesn’t leave a notice on the door to pick up at a specific location if you are not home.
I’d put 0 star if I could. I’ve contacted customer service and explaining the situation but he doesn’t understand (keeps asking for return receipt when I have not received the item).Useless assistance

Vans shoes are junk
Their shoes are junk. I barely wore a brand new pair and they are falling apart. Warranty claim was denied - I was well within 1 year and provided all the information, photos and receipt they requested. I will MEVER buy another vans product again! Very disappointed in their product.

I bought a pair of van slip on shoe January 8th, 2023. I was very excited about my purchase as I have always thought they were a cute and versatile shoe.
The shoes were very disappointing. I wore them only 5 times, and they have completely come unglued from the sole. This is saddening as they are not a cheap in price shoe. One would expect better quality. I will never buy another pair of vans shoes.
Invalid Credit Note
I was issued a credit note as a refund. Made 80 unsuccessful purchases due to an invalid credit note. Got a new credit note. 10 unsuccessful purchases. I have however made 2 successful purchases minus the credit note. After being told it was my browser, my device, my PayPal account, my Visa card. Now if this were true why are the sales minus the credit note successful??? Because Van's are thieves and liars. They have £33.04 of my money held and keep giving me invalid credit notes. This has been going on since 13.02.2023

Absolutely the worst online shop I have experienced in NL. I was charged double when I did the purchase online. 2x100€, not a small thing thus. Immediately I tried to contact the customer service one whole day! Nobody picking up the phone.After several days and so many trials one elderly woman picked up and it took her ages to write my complaint, to type in etc. She was overly polite but duper dumb. Then they came back after 10 days that they haven't got my payment twice but only once and to ask my bank - well bank clearly states, it is via IDEAL, Vans needs to contact their payment service - Worldpay and sort it out, usually within 1 day!!!!. I sent an email with proof of my bank account and the double payments. Again called- they say the same, I paid once. I contacted my legal advisor and they took over. After more than 4 weeks, Worldpay returner 100€ to my bank account without any notice or excuse or explanation from Vans or anybody. Total crocks. I purchased once and NEVER again.

Do not waste your money on VANS AURAS. Buy any other brand instead
Purchased a pair of Vans auras last season in October 2021 and I’ve only wore them about 50 days total. Next to my vans are burtons that has made it 3 season still in great condition and a pair of nidecker boots that have made it for 4 seasons now with some wear and tear but not to the extent of my vans auras. I would expect the wear and tear to give out after 200-250 rides but not within the few days I've been in the boot. The Nideckers have been worn about 200 days and still holding up and the burtons about 120 days and still in better condition than the left boot of the vans. Sent this all to customer service and they did not do the right thing on either refunding me or sending me a new product, I believe I was sold a clear defective product. I made the terrible mistake of believing I was buying a quality product with trusted brand with great customer service but couldn’t have been more wrong about the product and the company. So no one else makes my mistake I’d like to put a review up of the vans auras to let other customers know they are paying for an over priced product and a poor quality brand that won’t do the right thing for their customers. I will make sure to direct you all to Burton, K2, DC, or Nidecker for snowboarding boots because there’s no way a snowboard boot should only last for about 50 rides and have a higher price point while other brands have proven to have greater material, durability, and reliability at a lower price point.
Waited 7 weeks for custom vans
Waited 7 weeks for custom vans, which was fine as this is what the website stated, however when we received them, they did not fit. We ordered the exact same size as the vans we currently have and they just do not fit. They are so small that you can’t even get your foot in! I wrote to vans explaining this and requesting a refund as I do not believe they are made to the correct size. I received an email back telling me to log in and create a return, I emailed back stating again that they are custom and I do not have this option. They then replied back asking for pictures, I said that I did not understand why I was sending pictures as you cannot see the sizing based on a picture, I was told to send them anyway for review. I received an email back stating that as they were custom vans, they are not eligible for a refund. I replied back stating that I understand this however they are not the correct sizing based on vans we currently own. I have since received the same 2/3 emails which are basically copy and pasted emails, stating that the manager has reviewed this and they are sticking with their experience. £40 wasted on vans which are not made correctly! AVOID!

I've been trying to get hold of someone!! I ordered a birthday present which should have been here by now. I've messaged but no ones responding. Now I receive a refund with no explanation on top of that you still charged me delivery on an item that's never been delivered!

In the end I had to cancel my order due to misleading information regarding the delivery. I also got hung up by agents without the use of profanity. In the end I went to the store where they told me to buy vans in the store and not online due to a high risk of hick ups. Vans works in NL with UPS who has people working at home not able to present any real solution. They can only tell what they see in the system.The result is promises they do not follow up on. In the end I spent literally hours on hold and no resolution.

Poor service like so many others here.
Same story as most others. Received my order and shoes were damaged with a split in the tongue about 3 or 4 cms wide and missing the spare laces that should come with the shoes. My guess is they are previously returned, faulty shoes that Vans have just shipped out to the next customer.
There's no exchange policy so they have to be returned for a refund and then bought again and like so many others I bought mine during a sale (boxing day extra 20% off) so now if I still want the shoes I have to pay more than I did originally. I have sent an email about this but had no reply. I've organised a return but judging by the other reviews here I could still run in to more problems with that. It's such a shame as the product is generally great but the service makes you not want to support the company. Depending on how my return is eventually resolved will determine whether or not I ever buy Vans products again.

I pray for the love of God somebody read this review before purchasing on their website they are a very slimy and thieving company I didn't receive one of the new shoes that I purchased from them and I had to end up reporting them to the Better Business Bureau then they process a refund for me which I never received then I had to end up Paypal disputing them which they fought me on the charges they went from promising to give me a refund for the missing shoe then flat-out deny to refund me after saying they will I highly recommend nobody purchase from them and to move on to their competitors like Converse or puma I have personally purchased from both companies and they are way better than those scummy scammers vans and if you have an issue Converse and Puma will both help you in a professional way And if you end up planning to purchase A pair of Vans do so from another realtor that sells them
