Spoke to Daniele on scustomer support, was a smooth and easy experiance, they quickly got to the point quickly ad effectivly while sollving my issue. Props to vanspace for being so freindly and ready to tackle problems, nice to see someone is still about about their customers and not money.

Yes, once you have taken a speed test, if you have very slow download speeds you will not be able to download. That is correct. ?

I am not sure where the issue can be, we have no control over your download speeds?

Not being able to download means that you will not be able to log into your software. Not logging into your software means that you will not waive your right to a cooling off period. This is all covered in our refund policy.

I am sure that we have suggested strengthening your connection in the first instance, any refund request would be honoured without a log in.

It seems that we have received a one star rating because of your download speed, that's not what Trust Pilot should be used for.

DO NOT BUY

The only thing worse than the software is the refund policy.

The reason they do not offer a free trial is simple. Nobody would buy the product.

Using a loophole in consumer law, they will deny a refund once you've logged into the software even once.

The product is slow, clunky, full of bugs and missing key features*. By the time you find this out for yourself, it's too late.

They expect you to test their software for not only for free, but you're actually paying them while you test it.

I wish I'd read these reviews first.

I'm already looking forward to their response explaining how trustpilot isn't very good for rating software or telling me the product actually lives up to the marketing.

1 star is too good a rating. Basically a con.

Now they're telling me the browser I used to download the app (which does not run in the browser) is impacting performance. They must think we're stupid.

*Crucially there is no way to export with measurements for the design. So Vanspace cannot be used to create a real world design unless you have a lot of time to manually check the dimensions of every object used in your build... which makes the whole thing completely useless.

If you do not like the refund policy of any company, then we recommend that you do not buy that product.

This is why refund policies are available during the purchase process so that you can review in full before making any decision. vanspace also display this policy on every page of the website.

Once you buy any Digital Content provided online, as it is not a physical product that you can hold in your hand, yes there are rules surrounding this. Logging in waives your right to a 14 day cooling off period with good reason. All software providers dealing with online content are protected from an attempt to use as a free trial when one is clearly stated as not available.

That does not mean that if you have any issues, you will not be given full support.

You can expect it to be as described and shown. You were shown a 5 1/2 minute recording of the software in action before purchase. We also describe exactly what our software does.

As the recording is of the same software that we supply, using all features to create a layout and the manual input required, it is as shown.

If your software does not perform as it is shown in that recording, the answer lies on your set up. You use the same software that everyone else does, including those sharing their amazing layouts with us.

We appreciate that some users will get very defensive when it is suggested that the issue is at the users end, That their system is new, that they have the best spec etc etc. We are not implying anything different but we can meet defiance if attempting to suggest that there are some settings that need adjusting.

It is an inaccurate statement that vanspace will deny you a refund once you have logged in, what we will actually do is ask you for information, force the software to replicate the issue using the same type of set up that you are using, find the cause, and advise how to resolve.

If after investigating we can not resolve with support or an update, we will refund. This is clearly laid out within our refund policy.

You have not experienced this as you have refused to provide your set up information.

Slowness and lagging are easily resolved once set up info is received, may even fall down to the Browser used when downloading. If in doubt, always use Firefox Private Browsing.

We want to go through other reasons that this could occur and look at Firewalls and Adblockers with you as these could also potentially be the culprits for lagging.

You won't be testing the software, we will be.

I am not sure what you mean with your last comment but we find Trust Pilot a very valuable tool for feedback however, we do not concentrate on the scoring. 1 star can be given for the most trival and the most serious, there is no real guide between users. Stars 2, 3 and 4 are seldom used and reviews are rarely amended when an issue was easily resolved.

The comments do matter though, and all are read and responded to. Many of our new features come from feedback here and we are constantly developing our software.

What we won't do, is bypass the refund policy that you were happy with when you purchased. Refusal to provide the much needed information does not automate a refund for you.

We want to get to the bottom of why you have experienced what you have. Why? Because we want to resolve this ASAP, which we can, very easily.

It would be great if you would now provide any information requested in full to allow us to resolve. We hope to hear from you soon.

Edit 1. After reviewing our correspondence with you I can confirm that at no time have you been advised that the Browser that you have used to download has absolutely impacted the performance. What has been advised is that it can, as with any download. It would not be stupidity not to understand this, just a lack of knowledge of what issues can arise when using particular browsers.

Edit 2. We do not provide a blueprint feature and do not advertise as such. There are many software out there that will, none are dedicated to van conversion.

With the inbuilt Camera and Measuring tool, a series of shots can be taken, we will also be adding a new feature very shortly that will allow multiple measurements to appear on screen at one time. At the moment these appear for each object so a series of shots can be taken from different angles,

Van conversion is not like Kitchen Design with straightforward units and appliances only, Our software also allows for the storage to be designed with the items required inside- this is very important for VanLife. Blue prints would be nothing but a clutter of measurements and so multiple shots from varying views will always be required.

Horrible!! DO NOT BUY

Horrible!!! We need a class action lawsuit against this company. They claim you don't need any design or software background and that it's "drag and drop" but that's not true. This software is difficult for the average person. They have cheated thousands of people out of money with false advertising then refusing to refund.

Thank you for your review, we do appreciate all and welcome the opportunity to respond.

I am able to locate our correspondence with you and can see that you initially contacted us as you were finding our software 'too complex for your taste' and wished that it was more like a well known Kitchen Planning software. You are not experiencing any technical issues.

We appreciate that you may want our software to behave differently however, no matter how you purchased our software ( either directly via our website or after watching one of our adverts) you were shown a 5 1/2 minute recording of the exact same software that we supply being used. This shows creating a layout from scratch, making all of the adjustments needed and the full software screen and all of it's features being used.

I appreciate that you may feel that a Kitchen Planning App would be better for you however, van conversions are not dealing with the straight walls, standard sized furniture and appliances, and easy spaces that Kitchens have. It just would not work

Every template is different, we need to accommodate all curvatures and know that it is highly unlikely that any layout will require standard sizes. A conversion is not about making the layout fit around a particular item of furniture that is one size, it is about creating the layout that fits to your van.

We refute your comments mentioning the words 'Cheated' and 'False Advertising', This is not possible when you can not miss a recording of our software being used for 51/2 minutes prior to purchasing.

It is shown on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, we have made sure that no matter how you get to us, you will see this.

Our advertising conforms to all standards required in all of the countries that we supply our software. We provide full information and transparency of how our software looks, the features available and the amount of manual steps needed, You do indeed drag and drop objects into your layout but you are still going to have to rotate or adjust the dimensions to go where you want in your blank template, we can't possibly decide that for you.

We actually speak with our users on a regular basis requesting feedback, we ask for votes on varying topics, user friendliness, features, new feature request etc You will have received an email about this yourself already.

The take up for this feedback is really high and while we will not always be able to please everyone, we know that we are pleasing the majority of our users and working with others to implement features that can help them too.

We really are not concerned with Trust Pilot scores, it is not a great platform for software providers, although we score higher than major software providers on many occasions.

People can be very quick to score a 1 for a password issue that is easily resolved, or the fact that they select 'remind me tomorrow' when dismissing an important update on their Mac and blaming our software for not running correctly. They are also very slow (if at all) at updating a review when the issue is quickly resolved with some technical help from our Support Team ( who are fantastic )

If you were happy using a Kitchen Planner for your van conversion, you would not have come to vanspace. Now that you have and we have provided our software in good faith exactly as shown and described, we want nothing more than to help you learn all of it's features and create an amazing layout.

I can see that you are already in touch with our Operations Manager who has offered to personally facilitate your Support, it would be great if you would come back to us and let us know the area/s that you need this in.

An absolute waste of my time and money

An absolute waste of my time and money. I purchased this product yesterday based on the hundreds of affiliates spruking how good it was. It is not fit for purpose and just as I expected when I complained and requested a refund the next morning I received a templated and unoriginal lack of accountability and a big go ph**k yourself from them. I wish I had the foresight to read trust pilot first, 68% bad reviews says it all.

I have been able to locate our correspondence with you and feel that you are misrepresenting our conversation. The percentage of refund requests that we receive is extremely low and any response given is tailored to the reason for the request.

It would be normal for a company to use specific terms when dealing with the regulations surrounding the refund of a digital content purchase after login has occurred.

The limited information given for the reason of this request was 'the software does not offfer the library of parts or flexibility for custom design solutions that it misleads the reader into thinking are available'

As we show our software actually being used, we can obviously be concerned how you may think features that we do not advertise are included. This includes a library of parts and so again, we do not understand this.

As this is a return request we asked for the following 'return'information so that we can understand why you feel this way,

1. Where did you view our software before purchase?
2. Please explain what you expected
3. Why did you expect this?
3. How do you feel that this expectation has not been met?
4. Do you feel that a particular feature is missing from our software?
5. What has hindered you from creating your layout in our software?

This was certainly not a Big go **** however your response could be deemed as such. You also provided absolutely no information that would help us understand.

We need to know where you saw our software advertised, what you think is missing and why. We need to be able to look into this as if you are right, we need to change that and deal with your request based on this information.

We responded again to your very curt reply and explained that because you are requesting a 'return', we require this return information and now here we are.

We finally stated that we appreciate that it is a pain to have to collate however we hoped that you would reconsider providing,

You will note that the header of your refund case ticket states Open and pending further information. It does not say CLOSED

After reviewing, I am happy that our Team have dealt with you exactly as we lay out in our refund policy, and once we have the information required we will continue to follow due process and make sure that your request is settled correctly.

Once this is done, your ticket will then state that the refund case is CLOSED, it will not state this until it is.

WILL NOT REFUND !

I couldn't even get into their website. (they had a special offer for 1 month for $1). It is NOT, user friendly. I notified them, and told them, and asked for a refund. They said they couldn't do that at this time, to try again. I tried again, unable. Got an email to try again. I notified them I wanted a refund...nothing, AND, after looking at my bank account, saw where they not only taken the $1 but an additional $47. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, they are sending me a firm to fill out. I suggest everyone do the same. The BBB looks at # if complaints, they will take action if there is numerous complaints!!

Easy to use, but needs work

Easy to use, but hard to figure out what van file to use.
Has lots of objects, but misses some that it should like Air Conditioners. Can't share files with others to work on a design.
Takes a long time to get help.
Hard to select objects sometimes.

With regards to getting help our Live Chat is the fastest and lines are open 7 days a week. Our support team strive to answer all emails received within 24 hours. Messenger we review on a regular basis through out the working day.

Great idea, bad execution

Great idea, execution terrible.
Support is quick and seem nice but really is a badly executed idea
Most expensive software I have bought for years and probably the absolute worst to use
You can only use on a PC, I mean who doesn't create an app.
Can't free rotate, have to press a button to move, everything is difficult, awkward and hard to use.
As though it's been designed by someone who hasn't used a computer before, possibly acceptable in 1984 but for 2022 a huge dissapointment
Appologies but just so terrible, basic, not up to scratch and of the same calibre as a 0.99c app
Grab a pen and paper. Don't waste your money
To be fair all the reviews say the same...I should have read them first.
No doubt if your reading this, you're probably in the same boat...
I guarantee if they offered a free trial no one would ever buy it...hence the reason they dont.

1. Our software is available on Mac and PC - An APP sounds excellent and is in development; however, like many others who have tried, it would be more of a Home Design App; that is not what we are. It will take a LOT more development to make a truly 3D van conversion App. Watch this space

2. You can free rotate using your mouse/trackpad or hotkeys. You do not have to use buttons - You should check out our help guides within your dashboard and get into Orbit view

3. it is designed for ease of use, and now that you know that it does have the features ( and many more) that you thought were missing, it is 2022 ready

4. Not all reviews say the same; some say it is too hard, too technical, the complete opposite. We understand that this is down to the user's knowledge of such programs; that is why we are here to help and guide you.

5. If we offered a free trial, you would design your layout and have no need to purchase. We don't want to provide software full of adverts, so we strongly disagree with your thoughts.

Sketchup is free and is a really useful…

Sketchup is free and is a really useful program. The program is worthless to me. It is cumbersome, impractical, and basically a waste of money. When I asked for a refund of my payment, they requested that I provide the following information. Really a waste of my time.

We are sorry to hear that you are requesting a refund however, this would not be automatically given once you have logged in as we do not offer a free trial. We make this clear within our refund policy displayed across our website, including during the purchase process.

You mention that our software was not as you expected, yet we show our software in action everywhere. Across our social media platforms, on our website and via the 'more info' button on every single advert, so that every potential user knows exactly what to expect. A 3D design software dedicated to van conversion.

We aren't like any other software you will have used previously, as these probably would have been limited to easy square/rectangular spaces and straight walls. vanspace3D is dedicated to van conversion, and so we need to accommodate all of the slopes and unusual shapes that every van or bus contains.

We also need to consider that it is not very likely that you will use standard-sized furniture in a van conversion. It would be a little bit like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and because of this, we make sure that we provide the features that will allow you to adjust everything manually.

So that we can understand why you would expect anything different, please provide the following information.

Where did you view our software before purchase?

Please explain what you expected

Why did you expect this?

How do you feel that this expectation has not been met?

Do you feel that a particular feature is missing from our software?

What has hindered you from creating your layout in our software?

We find this hard to understand as we show the exact same software that we supply in action across our website and all social media platforms.

Can I assume that rather than respond with this information, you came to write a review?

I can pretty much guarantee that this has happened as if you had said the words 'cumbersome, impractical, and basically a waste of money' directly to us, the response would have been very different.

We are nothing like the other software that you mention and neither do we want to be. As other reviewers here have stated, it is hard and has a long learning curve. vanspace does not.

If you would like us to continue to review your request, please provide the information that has been requested as we do not offer a free trial.

EXCELLENT customer service experience!

Probably due at least in part to "operator error" (me...) my credit card was charged twice for a purchase of the Vanspace 3D software. Danielle was extremely helpful in quickly resolving the problem and issuing a refund on the mistaken transaction. A very satisfying customer experience!

Five stars from the point of view of a…

Five stars from the point of view of a newbie to CAD.

It's incredibly simple and nothing like as sophisticated as the Kitchen Design Software I've used for the last 10years. But it comes at a very affordable price point and for a simple aid in designing a layout it's absolutely fine.

There are decent developments from V2 to V3 and I assume this will continue.

As for the criticisms rife on this site I can't comment on customer service as I've never needed them and my version works flawlessly on a 12year laptop running Windows 7!!!

As for learning something like Sketchup and going it alone don't, unless you know it already or need it for other things it's way to tricky to master in short order.

Keep developing it and maintain its simplicity and you'll be fine.

To the critics if it's that crap, design something better and clean up the market yourself.

You have hit the nail on the head, we want to keep it as simple as possible so that extensive CAD knowledge is not needed and the feedback from our users let's us know that we are doing the right thing.

That does not mean that your designs will be simple too, certainly not, they can be as detailed and accurate as you like.

We absolutely will continue developing with so many new features planned, thank you for noticing the mamouth amount of work that our entire Team put into every single update.

And yes, completely agree with your final comment, unfortunately there are some who want CAD software that would cost hundreds of dollars ( if not thousands ) but do not wish to pay for it.

We just want to provide a valuable 3D tool that helps you realise your van conversion dreams into real life...

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

I should have read the reviews written down here earlier. Totally agree with the disappointment and deception of this software. their tutorials and videos are not contractual. I couldn't even enter into my 3D model, just tried the software 5 mins once and asked for a refund 10 days later and they refuses cause I "logged in several times already"... just to judge that I couldn't even use it !

Probably a huge robbery, there's no empathy, if you need less bad reviews, they should just allow a 14 days free trial as they all do. They must know that no one could use their cranky software.

Not happy as well with the way the customer service inform you. Haughty people.

Not happy at all with this purchase. Would be happy to send you my codes so at least you'll be able to use it for a year as I bought it and won't be refunded !!

Its a simple resolve and had we have known that was an issue, we would have advised this but you did not mention it to us. ( we also could not have assumed as you have to open a template to start a design and view the object library that you then spoke about)

We asked for further information about why you felt this way, you responded with 'Cause I won't use it, I'll design my van directly in it not on a computer. I thought the software would have been easier to use. There's no all the accessories I'd like to design my self as well so hand drawing will be best''

That is of course your prerogative to design any way you want to as the software license owner, it is totally up to you how many times you log in.

It is interesting as the review above this one states how simple our software is to use, of course we understand that we all have different abilities, that's why we then began to help you.

We gave some great tipe on how to get started, directed you to the recommended Tutorial to watch as well as help guides.

We also advised that you can create anything that you want to with the 3D shapes, you do not have to use pre-made furniture objects ( or you can even adapt those if you want an extra shelf, door, drawer etc ) Or request something to be added? We add these requests regularly.

I am sorry you felt our team were 'haughty' I have reviewed all correspondence and can not agree however I totally understand that you were not happy with the message given.

We would really love you to give it another shot, we have provided you with some steps, we are always here and an hour out of your time just watching a Tutorial or 2 really will give you so much knowledge.

You can always ask for me and I will do my best to support you personally.

Just good if you want to have a visual…

Just good if you want to have a visual idea about how do you want your van to be. But forget about having furniture measures right... zoom is also quite cranky. I have a MacBook 2019. I usually work with Photoshop and Lightroom. Vanspace app makes the fans spin like a helicopter, as a consequence, I have to switch the app off to give a rest to the computer... it also drains the battery computer so quickly ... Not worthy for the money you will have to pay for... Also, the company don't refund...

Thank you for your review.

I think you have something up there as zoom is not usually not 'cranky' So without talking to you more, I am wondering if you have turned off Studio Lighting and Van Dazzle?

These can be toggled off as resource savers and should solve that problem for you. We actually recommend these being off in the design process as they are only for effect, great to turn back on when you want to see your design in it's full glory.

As for dimensions, can you let us know what you mean by this? We do not have any bugs in this feature and as someone who creates a lot of layouts for our social media, I have not experienced any issues. Possibly resource saving again?

Finally for your battery, it sounds like you need to accept the latest update for your OS, I would also try resetting your P-Ram to make sure your system is in top condition. It is not possible for a straight up app to cause this.

Following the advice above will resolve any issues with fans too, we are an intensive software but out of date updates, not saving resources and not resetting your P-Ram regularly will be the cause.

Hello Everyone... "Save your Money!"

Hello Everyone...

Thought I would give this another try after the year ago when first bought early version.. Now on V-3 "Black Friday Version" and paid for lifetime updates... £30.. (I won't bother asking for any refunds)

As they said in add that this was a completely new from bottom up design system...

"Well I am more disappointed with this version than the previous versions.. "I won't quote" any of the 1 Star Ratings here in the endless list of reviews above mine.. because I agree with all of them.. Not really suitable for the job you want to use it for...

I can say this will all honesty.. as a Professional 3D Modelmaker.. with over 700... 3D models in my Portfolio on "SketchUp 3D Warehouse.. and many other Platforms for 3D FREE! Models.. and over 5 million downloads Worldwide..

The Concept of a company making van software like this is definitely needed for those with limited skills in 3D Modelling... and with the worldwide surge in Van Conversions since the "Bug" Lockdowns.. would be a great asset..
But! not this one...

And so I can only agree with others..

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Not user friendly at all, graphics are from the 90’s and the dimensions are all wrong. The software designer should be fired. Bought for $80 AUD, tried to get a refund and they are refusing! Keep the money, your business will be worth nothing soon

Really raw and unfinished software

Really raw and unfinished software. Asked for refund because measurements on the template of ford e150 aren't correct, and answer was I could draw a template by myself. But however why I need vanspace 3d for this?
Refund declined. 32bucks for nothing.

The interior of the Ford e150 has remained unchanged throughout its entire construction period. there are no different versions.
The problem with minivans is that you need exact dimensions for a furniture, base plate, wall cladding. I wanted to put a wooden base plate in the interior and build furniture on it. If the dimensions of the base do not match the wheel arches, width, length, etc., it simply cannot work. the walls are different from the original. Cladding parts of the ventilation system etc. are not covered. it just doesn't fit. The e150 has a large side door and a rear door that must be taken into account in the expansion. you can e.g. use for a kitchen. In vanspace the door is fixed and cannot be measured or opened.
I think vanspace is a program to look at how to position a flower pot or decoration in the van, but nothing to really build something. I am now using a real CAD program and have downloaded a 3d template with correct dimensions for 12 €. Vanspace is useless to me. In the youtube videos it looked much better and more detailed. That's why I asked for a refund.

I wasn't sure what you mean by raw and unfinished, nor was I familiar with the advise that you have stated you were given.

After locating our correspondence with you I can confirm the following.

You contacted us via chat stating that a particular template that you wished to use was not the exact dimensions of your own model.

You also mentioned that the wheel housing was again not the exact dimensions for your particular model.

Finally, because of this you requested a refund which was escalated to me by the agent that you spoke with.

vanspace3D make every effort to ensure that the dimensions of each pre-made template are as accurate as possible.

Our 3D templates have been created using information disclosed by manufacturers themselves and/or experts within the industry if not freely available.

What you have not considered is that there are many differences between years of model, this is why we provide a feature to adjust a pre-made template to your own dimensions.

I did not advise you to just create your own template, I advised of the following.

A. Adjust the pre-made template to the dimensions of your own particular model
OR
B. Create a custom template to your required dimensions.

I also advised that features were provided to create the wheel housing that you mentioned.

We offer the only software dedicated to van conversion and we provide the features that you need to ensure accuracy.

Our software certainly is not raw, proven by the amount of fabulous layouts being shared with us, as well as journeys of design to real life build.

Our software is also not 'unfinished' but a full version allowing our users to create these amazing layouts.

As with any software, updates will always be part of the life cycle, we love to hear our customers suggestions and if we can add them, we certainly will.

As you had logged in and the features are available to create exactly what you mention, your refund request was declined-you are not hindered in any way.

I do hope that you can refer back to our conversation as help guides were also provided to show you how to create what you need.

Nothing but problems from day one

Nothing but problems from day one. I give up, wait a week or 2 & try again. & again nothing but more problems. Now van space window comes up but stays on 0%. By the time I get it fixed ill be sick of it again.
All you get is sorry, but you will not get your money back.

If your software is stuck loading, this will be down to your AV, Firewall or permission settings, it also means that you have not yet logged in.

If the software is not logged into, you are of course entitled to a refund.

It is your legal consumer right to receive a refund within 14 days if log in has not occurred, vanspace has extended this to 30 days.

Because of the above, something here does not seem correct and so I have sent you a message via Trust Pilot so that I can obtain your account information and look into this further for you.
