Be aware of both Varmefag Ski and a man named Bjørn Erik Heedels.
In November 2020, we contacted Varmefag Ski to get a chimney and a fireplace for our house - they sent Bjørn Erik Heedels (owner of Stylish Peis go Pipe) - for a inspection. After a conversation of what and where to install the fireplace - he made an cheaper offer if we purchase directly from him and pay everything upfront. We transferred 60 000 NOK to his company (Bear Peis og Pipe Kristiansen). After months of excuses, he still has not delivered the fireplace and refuses to return our money.
We raised this issue with Varmefag and infuriatingly, they aren’t willing to take any responsibility. Moreover: I posted this negative review previously on Varmefag Ski’s page. That motivated them to react. Their response? Ole, the daily manager at Varmefag Ski, encouraged me to remove my negative reviews of their company if I wish to have Bjørn return my money. I did so, and Bjørn payed back only half of what he had taken from us. Varmefag Ski on the other hand told us to be grateful and made a subtle threat indicating Bjørn being a criminal. They are only concerned about their own image and have no problem in supporting blackmail and illegal activities.
Bjørn Erik Heedels and Varmefag Ski are responsible for swindling people and we are not their only victims. I am now in touch with other customers of Varmefag Ski who have had the exact same experience with the same man. We have also learned that his victims are not only in Norway, but in Sweden as well.
