Worst company ever
Cancelled car insurance after 2 months and was told that I would only get fractions of the refund. 2 weeks has passed refund not issued. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful company. I also got 2 other car insurance with them but I will be reporting to financial conduct authorities and trading standard.

wish I heard about this company earlier, just saved over £250 for the same cover, what more can you ask for it's a no brainer.
Great cover for a great price…
I would have given 5 stars as the price and cover is excellent t and it didn’t take long for me to speak to a human when I called! Only problem was that on Go Compare the price changes by more than 10% depending on what day you start the policy from which makes no sense at all!!
Simplicity
Simplicity. Via the 'meercat', it knew all my details already. Last year I thought my insurer had raised the price far too much ( by £150), and at the time I couldn't be bothered to look elsewhere. This year up another £200. So I looked elsewhere, via Compare the Market, and VaVista ( along with a couple of others) more than halved my premium. No contest. Could have saved another £200 had I done the same last year.

Scammers - avoid!
Scammers. Avoid. Do not go with this company! I sold my car yesterday but had 2 months left on the policy which I had paid upfront £700 at that time of purchase 10 months ago. I called to cancel and get a refund. Alarm bells started ringing when the agent told me that I couldn't cancel. Eh? Then after persuading him he was wrong, I am entitled to cancel he said there was no refund due. So I said okay, so what if there had been 9 months left on the policy and not 2 months?. He thought about it then said okay, I will check for you. Yeah, do your job mate. So he then came back and said I would get "Five dollars" back. I said "Dollars? I live in the UK, we use pounds here". So he puts me on hold. Comes back and says "Okay, you have to pay £75 but you'll get £5 refunded, do you want me to go ahead with the cancellation?". Eh? So let me get this straight. Upfront, I paid £700 pounds 10 months ago for the very basic car insurance - two adult drivers. So now I have insurance that I can't use, its totally redundant as I have sold the car and I can't cancel cause its too expensive? If I do cancel I'll pay £75 for the privilege? How does that even make sense? I don't believe it, I think it's a scam. Where did he conjure up £5 from? He wasn't able to break it down for me. I know I have been scammed. Thank god I didn't have to actual put in a claim at any point! 100% Scammers. Avoid!

Excellent sign-up process
My car insurance came up for renewal. I checked for quotes on Confused.com, before asking my current insurance company if they could reduce their quote: they couldn't. So I then tried to sign up with Aviva, completed all their forms online, and received a request to call them. 15 attempted phone calls later, I decided they didn't deserve my custom, and therefore accepted the quote from Vavista instead. Their on-line process proved to be clear and efficient. Their website and follow on communications have been excellent. So far, I have been very impressed with my experience of Vavista.
I completed ALL details for car insurance
I completed all details for a car insurance to start 16/04/25, the day before I was emailed requesting my proof os no claim discount & driving licence details I sent these onto Vavista within minutes proof of no claim discount was supplied by my existing insurance company. I now received another request for the same details saying what I sent was not correct I couldn’t give more accurate details, 1 proof NCD from existing company, 2 All detail from my D/licence. After being on the phone for 25 minutes I decided to cancel this policy before it started they charge me £25. I strongly would advise every body to keep away from this hopeless company you will just get frustrated. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

More like online scammers not an insurance company.
I had an car insurance policy with them. I missed my payment due to difficulties, it's all on me my fault. So I phoned the insurance to pay for it. Customer service advised to pay the sum via premium credit(their partners or something) and call back to inform vavista about the payment. I did everything as per instructions, phoned shortly after to confirm however I got the answer that my policy has been cancelled and within 7 days they will come back to me to let me know if I will get my money back not only which I paid today but also the deposit they took on day 1. They telling me that's not guaranteed. So nearly £400 are gone now. This will be reported and has to be investigated.
