After signing up they emailed with a number to contact straight away. Very different to other companies where you have to use a chatbot. Rang the number and got through straight away to discuss the policy. Very good price comparable with online only options but loads better on customer service.

Customer service: Abrupt and unhelpful.
Changed car for accessibility → quoted £1,000 extra, online says £150.
At this rate, I’m expecting them to ask for my kidney next.
Bottom line: Confusing, unfair, and a total headache. Avoid unless you enjoy surprises.

Quotes aren't honoured for very long
Got a fully comprehensive quote for my daughter as she works for the NHS and has been very busy. Quote was £410 which was competitive. I forwarded her the quote she tried to use it and was then quoted £450; no change of details. She ended up getting a third party policy for £394 because she couldn't afford the extra £40. In my opinion what a bunch of sharks: we won't be using you again or Money Supermarket for that matter.
Edit 14/12: Quote now apparently £416 from same link. Nonsense.

Excessive charges for missed payments
Excessive charges for missed payments - all due to them being unable to assist with change of direct debit date - not helpful at all. Tried several times but having to deal with 2 separate places is not the ideal. It’s a no from me!

My car was hit by another driver that…
My car was hit by another driver that ran off and my partner who is an insured driver was the one who was driving and he was not at fault. I made a claim immediately on the 15th of October 2025 and both the police and the insurance company agreed he was not at fault after their investigations. I was handed over to AX and they did the same investigations and after that they called the witness and after speaking to him they sent him a letter and after a period of time they closed my claim which I noticed on their app after not hearing from them for a while and they informed me that they had to close the claim because they did not receive my witnesses report but my witness said he did post the letter back to them. The insurance I am paying allows me to get assistance whether I am at fault or not if I am not mistaken but on this case my partner was not at fault. Now I’m still paying my monthly comprehensive insurance and I have a damaged car and my claim reached a dead end. It’s so depressing. I tried calling to follow up but I couldn’t get any help.
