Scam

I posted my bike for sell on Facebook. A guy called Phillip Heyward asked me to pay 26£ for getting my vehicle certified through this website. I did that and he is now no where to be seen. When I checked trust pilot, I saw similar comments. It's a scam. Please do not pay if anyone asks.

Avoid like the plague, SCAM!

I recently put up a motorcycle for sale on FB, and within minutes I had an 'enquiry' from a 'buyer 'asking some general questions, then followed by a request that I use vehiclefied for a vehicle status report. For £26, I was asked to pay for a report confirming that a vehicle I was selling had a clean history. I had an uneasy feeling about it as it's a strange request, normally the buyer checks the vehicle, not vice versa, so I delayed responding. 30 minutes later the 'buyer' sent through some ?? as if to apply some pressure to me, then another message saying 'I deserve some peace of mind etc'. It still seemed odd so I looked on Trust pilot and sure enough, as others have said, it's a scam, a phishing attempt to get your card details. I then replied saying I wasn't going to complete or pay for a report, at which point the 'buyer' disappeared from the chat. Avoid or ignore if you're selling any type of vehicle.
